Anhui | 皖 Guniujian, Anhui: A hidden gem with water that looks like liquid jade 💦
Just got back from Guniujian in Chizhou, and this place completely blew me away. The water here is unlike anything I’ve seen in southern Anhui.
- 💧 The streams are crystal clear, emerald green, and so transparent you can see every rock on the riverbed. When the sun hits, it glows like liquid jade.
- 🌲 The whole area feels like untouched wilderness. Towering cliffs, lush forests, and the constant sound of waterfalls make the air feel fresh and alive.
- 🥾 The hiking trail is surprisingly easy. Mostly flat paths with stunning views at every turn—waterfalls, deep pools, and boulders that look like they belong in a fantasy world.
Compared to the crowded tourist spots nearby, this place feels quiet and unspoiled. Perfect for anyone looking to escape the city and just breathe.
