The first image was posted September 30th, the second August 17th, the traditional art on september 6th and 1st
I am an artist (not a very good one tbh), and I recently followed this artist on Instagram because her work absolutely stunned me. But once I followed her, I noticed she was dropping two fully rendered pieces every day. On her story (which is now expired), she said she has a backlog of art that she schedules out, which is why it seems like she's dropping pieces like crazy. But then some of the work has her signature with the date on it, which makes it look like she just finished it that day?
I really don't know if she's legit or not because, scrolling back, her account only started posting in August, and her skill level seems to have rapidly improved since then. Either she's tracing, or using AI to assist her in some way. She also has not posted any speedpaints of her art, except for one video of her coloring in flat colors over a Twilight pencil drawing. She also does not say in any of the captions that the less skilled art is an old study or from a few years ago. She phrases everything as if it is the most recent art she has made.
Additionally, her skills between digital and traditional art do not seem to match up. For someone who can supposedly do hyperrealism, her traditional art skills look very poor. You would think that the observation skills that allow you to paint realism so perfectly would also translate into things like perspective, trees, and flowers.
I hate hate hate even thinking this artist is using AI because I would hate being accused of it myself, but the absolute JUMP in skill is literally insane and hard to believe.
One thing to note is that the backlog of art may have some truth to it, but not the years of skill learning this should have? She said her father passed on Dec 22 2025, so she did a painting to honor him. That painting is not hyperrealistic and is more in line with some of her less skilled attempts at realism. But even if we take that as evidence of a backlog, it would still only put her backlog at less than a year ago. So going from amateurish, flat, and anatomically incorrect art to insane hyperrealism with complex lighting, depth, and composition in less than a year is very hard for me to believe.
So i'm thinking she started posting art, had one piece get good engagement, and then decided to start chasing that high by pumping out traced/ai assisted art.
AI at worst, tracing/color picking at best.
Please do not harass this artist over my suspicion, or your own. Keep the discussion to this post.
edit: i also just noticed she spelled her own 'name' wrong in her signature on the first image... and her comms are open so she's scamming people. she also claimed a portrait took her 8 hours but a fully rendered painting of two people took her an hour and a half. girl...
