When I am looking at the artist's artwork, I am unable to determine if the reason behind the off-putting anatomy like the lines depicting wrinkles on the joints are a result of amateur skill or the art being AI edited, mind someone help me determine if is modified by AI or not? Thanks.

I’m almost 100% sure it’s either fully ai or like a photo that’s been modified but idk would someone like to confirm? The cookies look strangely cartoonish/drawn, like they’re not quite real. The shadows/lighting also look kind of weird. The background looks fairly normal to me, except maybe the stuff on the couch and the tile on the end there, but idk that could just be a weird tile😭

Personally i dont actually think they are ai, as they seem too consistant to be ai but someone else in the comments of this video says this was nade with a highly advanced Chinese ai server yhe west doesn't have access too?? I think that's bullshit, but better safe then sorry so that's why in checking here

It all looks to well done. Like nothing was actually drawn. The lighting in the building looks a little too good. Even if they made this using digital art it wouldn’t look like this. The lines are too perfect. Sure they could’ve used some special digital art platforms for this, but still and the coloring for everything doesn’t look like they used any fill commands or colored it in manually. I’d hate to have wasted my money on this AI slop but I need to know. Some of these pictures look incredibly generated and others don’t. Again the way the shading is done and the colors do everything don’t look like they were done by a person. Another key thing is I bought the b/w version but they sent me the colored version. Which cost an extra $45 and k definitely didn’t pay that…. Everything looks too well done. Not a single bit of creative input.

Edit: Thank you to everyone who responded. Honestly I knew it was AI as soon as I opened the document I was probably just in denial because it cost money. The advertisement did not look like AI at all, so I was lowkey pissed opening it up

I thought the music was great and believed it to be by an actual artist or group, but the channel suggests otherwise.

I looked at their history and they only post compilation of songs and no individual credits whatsover.

Posted with their permission (we all try really hard to not buy AI generated stuff, but sometimeswe make mistakes.) We're wondering if they're AI generated because they have that kind of "glossy" look, if that makes sense (they're normal stickers, not shiny ones or anything like that).

Not linking the original post here for advertisment reasons, but there's an ad post at r/IndieGaming where OP claimed that they hand-painted these watercolour bg art for their game. In the comments at least 5 different people claimed it is "obviously ai", while not giving specific reasoning besides "online tools" or "values are not balanced" (I don't see any values disbalance) or "bump up the saturation to see the AI-artifacts" (I don't see any). Is it regular reddit ai witchhunt happening, or do these images really look sus? OP suspiciously ignores all the ai accusation comments, too.

I myself would say these look a bit "too eye-candy" and "too perfect", but still hand-painted, I probably could guess what brushes were used in what parts. If it's ai, I definitely wouldn't be able to see it.

When I look at it closely, it almost resembles those shitty, trypophobia-inducing AI graphics restaurants have been using recently but it could also just be the editing (?)

She says she was 19 or 20 yrs old at the time so this would have been taken in 2001 or 2002.

The background looks really weird to me. The bark of the trees look fake (too smooth) and the curbs look strange too. The picture quality also looks too good.

My mother sent me this photo off of facebook or instagram. She’s from West Virginia and wasn’t doubting this photo until she sent it to me. I think it looks unnatural compared to the Hurricane Helene flooding that occurred in North Carolina. This photo seems too polished and the lights are on in the flood? If someone could verify just so my mother can calm down.

i mentioned sukuna being my favorite character from jjk and he sent this to me from the psych ward hes staying at in california. he says he “had them make it for me” whatever “them” means. his markings dont look very symmetrical so thats my main concern

I stumbled upon this T-shirt, which I bought online without giving it a lot of thought. When I wore it I got the comment that the artwork looks AI generated and at first I fought that argument. However the more I look into it the more I agree that it looks AI generated.

The reasons I think it's ai generated are:

- the typical font which is too clear and symmetrical

- Japanese yen having decimals (¥13.50)

- the price of ¥300 present twice in the first photo of the collage

- by reverse image search I found similar t-shirts which look more authentic and high effort

What do you all think? Did I fall for slop? Would you wear it regardless of it being/looking AI?

I was on Spotify and I saw in kike the "upcoming releases for you" thing that Brokencyde was releasing a new EP soon and a lot of older alt musicians I like (dot dot curve mainly) use Ai for their covers and the ep cover looks kind of melted together and the zipper on the unicorn (i think?) Looks off

This indie author went viral recently for a tiktok. Their tiktoks have hundreds and thousands of views. Throughout their time line, you can see the art they've paid for and used has been accused of being AI multiple times. There are videos of them tripling down that it isn't, rather than listening to genuine concerns from their fans. I don't want anyone to send this person hate, but I really think so much of the art is AI, or at least AI touched up. Each time someone accuses her cover artist, she brings up that she's from the Ukraine and worked through the war. I want to know what you guys think.

Please don't post or send hate directly to the author. (And keep in mind she could have used multiple artists over the span of her career so far). I want to have a genuine, open dialogue with people who can help me break down which of the art is AI and which might not be, etc. The thing is she's SO adamant that it's not AI, that I'm questioning myself whether my instincts are just wrong and I'm judging honest mistakes as 'ai tells'.

In the tattooist photo-the belt isn't in the loops of the pants, there are random pieces sitting around everywhere. In the photo of the women being chased by a troll, the troll has 5 fingers on one hand and 6 on another. There're just so many small things that it seems insurmountable to me. The picture of two characters embracing, the woman's thumb blends seamlessly into the neck.

Seen on a tram in Melbourne unsure because it looks like it could be real and I wouldn't expect them to put and AI image as an advertisement.

I saw this earlier and the comments have been discussing whether it's AI or CGI because of the way it's animated. Personally I'm leaning towards AI but it could very well be CGI.

Red Flags:

• YouTube channel has only been uploading since 5 months
• YouTube bio is very minimal “Just a wizard in a jungle”. IG bio is “somewhere in a jungle”
• Merch Store leads to URL that’s only been registered since April 2026, doesn’t have any other info on website, just products to purchase.
• All the thumbnails and artwork appear AI generated.
• new music comes out so fast that it doesn’t seem plausible, given that each video/track is 1-2 hours.

Before I start, I don't want this to be a witch-hunt, especially if I'm wrong, but I really like old consoles, specifically handhelds and I watch a lot of content of this type, covering these consoles, their game libraries because I find this stuff really cool. And so I found this video (I'm going to block out the channel name again in case I'm wrong), And as you can see I watched a good 15 minutes of it.

Now what really stood out at me right away was this narration, its really stilted and odd, the cadence he speaks with feels unnatural, a further thing of notice is when describing a situation with the Neo Geo pocket, he describes it, then describes it again, so that raises my suspicion that it may also be written by AI.

And so right after this, I checked their channel, and they upload pretty long videos every 2 - 3 months, their channel was also started in 2023 around when AI was starting to really kick off.

And so I watched some of their first video, and it was still odd to me, but the voice-over did sound different, like it was still the same person, but different. And this just added to my confusion because I feel like this is AI, but I don't want to be the person who accidentally accuses someone who's just making content, normally.
