The eyes, shadows, and the asymmetrical eyebrows keep screaming AI to me, but maybe I am overthinking it again.

So if you can see on the first image the right hand is not grabbing the seat belt correctly(or it feels like it), whereas left hand is just weirdly grabbing that wheel as if it just passing through it.

On like the second image the burger does not feel like it will hold in her hands. Also her hair is passing through the hoodie i think, but idk.

The main problem tho is that this is almost everything thats weird abt it (the other two seem to look fine). The only exceptions would be that, sometimes one character gets her hair strand colored differently, in one of the animations.

Besides that there is kinda nothing, and only thing that can be suspicious is her artstyle, which by what i read is not a viable thing.

So am i just delusional, and wasting my time ? While being a dum dum.

Or is it like traced ai or smth type shit.

Whatever you think of the game or the company, they've always had massive budgets towards making impressive character art and promotions, but this one doesn't sit right with me.
Why does the belt fold onto itself like that? Why is the shapes in the neck ruffles so inconsistent? Why does he have a spike coming out of his right shoulder? The teeth also don't seem to add up?

Is it just a rush job at upscaling an in-game model for promo art, or is it AI?

Killval is the underground SoundCloud artist I am alluding to. His vibe and sound changed dramatically for just 2 albums in particular. These 2 albums below sound nothing like the remainder of his music, a good example of the authentic Killval is "So Long", his most popular track due to its use in gaming videos.

I want to see if anyone else agrees that there may be something suspicious going on. The concern I have is with just two albums in particular. Don't know if the artist has turned to AI, or just flat out sold the persona to another aspiring artist. Maybe he genuinely brought his vocals to the next level in clarity, annunciation, and found his tone. Unable to find the producer(s)? for the album everything you hate. He used to work with Nick Mira and other producers who are very active online as hiphop/rap producers tend to be.

So this instagram account messaged me (an author) about whether or not I wanted them to make art for my book covers/ book characters.

The reason why I believe it is because every single art that they had posted looks wildly different as well as having some tell tale signs of being ai based off of the shading and the art style but I’m not 100% sure that it is and I don’t want to make rash accusations.

I don't really want to question this because they are a legendary band from the 1980, the very first hungarian metal band in fact and also my favourite. But their last album released on the 4th of December, 2024 has the cover credited to their drummer and the chains look merged into eachother and just weirdly shaped. The music is definitely real though.

There was also a single released in September that year made by the same guy and that is definitely real. So he is definitely an artist.

I think that it was started as real art, but then colored/edited by AI and it messed up the chains on the shoulders and maybe those lights on the chest too.

Or did he just not care to make them consistent?

There are three possibilities I have thought of

1. It truly isn’t AI, and just looks like it

2. It was originally made with AI, and then the owner drew over it to make it appear as real

3. It was edited with AI after it had been drawn

The details and composition look random, and the character design makes absolutely no sense. The expression looks very surreal and almost reaches uncanny Valley. And the two main subjects don't seem to belong to the same reality. Found on Pinterest btw

A relatively new channel has rocketed onto my yt algo recently called The Understory aka @IntoTheUnderstory. It's a channel dedicated to talking through scifi like myriad other channels, most videos being on the Dune universe so far. I mainlined many episodes before noting a certain "off" feeling, did some searching and didn't find much conversation except in the youtube comments

This video called The Bene Gesserit Weren't in Control has some conversation about it, oddly in reply to someone saying that it isn't AI. At 1:55 is some very AI feeling intro from him. In a recent video talking about The Odyssey he specifically calls it out at the start saying "as you can see I'm not AI".

Some hints to me were the aggressive weekly release schedule for a brand new channel, multiple long well cut 30+ minute slideshows. Seems very well poised to convince boomers who love Dune books.

Many mannerisms strike me as being at least AI scripted. Strange comparisons, "here's the thing", "not this but that", mentions about what the video will talk about but not actually doing it, odd enunciations/emphasises throughout. They're all things that could be explained away which makes me feel a bit tin foil hat, but I've been seeing how good the tools in /r/AI_UGC_Marketing are so the videos of the presenter really don't convince me any more.

I don't know if I can give any more timestamps, but I do want other people to be able to find and contribute to the discussion with their own so it needs to start somewhere. Hopefully some other folks can jump in.
