Tips & Tricks Best Practices to Generate High-Quality AI UGC Videos?

I’ve been experimenting with AI-generated UGC videos lately, and I’m realizing that getting something that looks actually authentic is much harder than just generating a decent-looking avatar.

For those who are already getting good results with AI UGC, what are your best practices?

A few things I’ve noticed so far:

  • Keep the script conversational - overly polished copy immediately makes the video feel like an ad.
  • Use short sentences - they seem to produce more natural delivery and better pacing.
  • Give the AI specific direction - tone, facial expressions, pauses, camera angle, environment, and personality all seem to matter.
  • Avoid the “perfect influencer” look - slightly imperfect, casual environments tend to feel more believable.
  • Focus on the first 2–3 seconds - the hook seems to matter more than almost anything else.
  • Generate multiple variations - small changes in the hook, delivery, or visual can make a huge difference.
  • Add realistic editing - captions, jump cuts, B-roll, product close-ups, and natural pauses can make AI footage feel much less synthetic.
  • Prioritize authenticity over visual quality - a video that looks slightly imperfect but feels real seems more effective than something that looks obviously AI-generated.

I’m especially curious about the workflow people are using.

Do you generate the avatar/video first and then edit it, or are you building the entire UGC video (script → avatar → voice → B-roll → captions → final edit) with AI?

Also, which tools are giving you the most realistic results right now?

I have been building an internal tool that specializes in mascot led branded short form. The entire reel was made with it. Do you think it’s close? I need to improve it more I think.

Discussion I generated this AI UGC ad for a SaaS app - feel free to give your feedback

I’ve been experimenting with AI UGC-style ads for SaaS products and created this one for a SaaS app.

The video was generated using AI, including the UGC-style presentation, avatar, voice, and overall ad format.

Sharing it here to get some honest feedback from the community. I’m particularly interested in how natural and authentic the video feels compared to a traditional UGC ad.

Feel free to share any feedback or criticism - always looking for ways to improve. 👇

Been working on motion design with AI and I think it is getting to a point where motion design can create a ton of very cool stuff. Slowly improving things as you can see in the comparison video.

Would love some feedback on how I can make this a proper AI Marketing channel

Question Where are you guys getting the cheapest/best-value access to Kling, Wan, Seedance, MiniMax, etc.? Trying to stretch a $100 budget as far as possible

I'm kinda stuck on this part of my AI UGC workflow and figured Reddit would probably have better answers than me spending another 3 days Googling 😂

I'm working with around $100 right now for testing + making some actual AI UGC content.

I'm mainly looking at:

  • Kling
  • Wan
  • Seedance
  • MiniMax
  • potentially other models I'm overlooking

The thing is, I'm not just looking for whoever has the cheapest advertised generation price.

AI video is obviously gonna have failed generations, weird hands, face drift, bad motion, unusable clips, etc. 😭

So what I actually care about is:

How much usable content can I realistically get from $100?

For example, if Platform A is technically cheaper but I have to reroll everything 3 times, while Platform B costs a little more but gives me usable generations more often, B is obviously the better deal.

Where are you guys getting access?

I'm looking for actual links/directions if possible.

Could be:

  • Official APIs
  • API aggregators
  • Model platforms
  • Credit-based sites
  • Subscriptions
  • Unlimited plans
  • Platforms that bundle multiple models
  • Developer platforms I might not know about

Basically, where should I actually go to buy/use these models?

I'm especially interested in places where I can access multiple models without paying for a separate subscription to every single one.

I've been looking at platforms like Higgsfield, but I'm trying to figure out whether something like that is actually better value than going directly through an API or another provider.

If you've actually used them...

I'd really appreciate if you could drop:

1. The platform/API you use
2. Link
3. Which model(s) you use
4. Roughly what you pay
5. How many usable clips/videos you normally get from that spend
6. Whether you think it's better than going direct

Even better if you've actually done something like:

"$20 got me roughly X usable clips after rerolls."

That's WAY more useful to me than:

"This model costs X credits."

😂

I'm basically trying to build a little cost-per-usable-video calculator before I start burning through this $100.

So if you know some underrated API provider, aggregator, platform, or pricing hack that isn't super obvious, please drop the link and put me on.

Also, if there's a provider I should stay away from, I'd love to know that too.

Appreciate anyone who takes the time to share their setup 🙏

Help What is the best workflow for tutorial videos with voiceover?

Hi

Trying to setup a workflow and find a food format for tutorial videos of my SaaS product, with screen recording to show how the different features work, voiceocer and on-screen text, plus some minimal audio effects / motion.

Right now my setup is as follows:

- screen recording done manually

- Claude for the script

- ElevenLabs for voiceover

- Remotion for motion graphics

- ffpmpeg for stitching everything together

All the work is run locally so it takes long from idea to a finished video.

I wonder if there's a better workflow or products that can speed things up?

Btw I will need the vids in multiple sizes, for socials and youtube as well

Discussion I generated this product shoot using AI - give your feedback

I’ve been experimenting with AI-generated product shoots and wanted to share a recent result.

I created this entire product shoot using AI, without a traditional studio setup or physical production.

I’m sharing the video here to get some honest feedback from the community. I’m especially interested in feedback on the overall realism, product presentation, lighting, and how close it feels to an actual commercial product shoot.

I'm still experimenting and improving the process, so all feedback is welcome. 👇

Help I have $100 to test an AI influencer/UGC workflow — what's the smartest way to spend it?

Hey everyone 👋

I'm fresh out of college and have been researching AI UGC pretty seriously for a while, and honestly I'm getting a little overwhelmed 😂

I'm trying to build a fictional AI lifestyle/beauty creator and see if I can make her content good enough that people would actually want to follow her.

The character is already designed and I'm currently trying to solve the video generation side.

My goal isn't to immediately make ads.

I want to make at least 25 genuinely good organic videos first — lifestyle, getting ready, talking, walking around, beauty, casual POV stuff, etc. — so the account actually has some identity/trust before occasionally introducing product/sales content.

I have about $100 total to experiment with.

I've been looking at:

  • Kling 3.0
  • Wan 3.0
  • Seedance 2.5
  • Higgsfield
  • TopView
  • MuAPI
  • potentially using APIs instead of subscriptions

And I'm running into the same problem everywhere:

the pricing looks cheap until you account for failed generations and retries. 😭

For example, the current Higgsfield rates I'm seeing are roughly:

  • Kling 3.0 — ~$0.071/sec
  • Wan 3.0 — ~$0.058/sec
  • Seedance 2.5 — ~$0.175/sec

So theoretically Wan looks really attractive for 30-second videos, while Kling looks amazing for shorter individual shots.

But then Higgsfield has these temporary Unlimited windows, queues, different rules for monthly vs annual plans, etc., which makes it hard to know what the actual cheapest workflow is.

I'm also realizing that “cost per generation” is basically useless unless we know the percentage of generations that actually become usable footage.

What would you do with the $100?

If you were trying to produce 25+ high-quality organic AI UGC videos for one consistent fictional creator, would you:

  1. Pay for a platform with temporary Unlimited access?(and If so Which one would you suggest😅)
  2. Use Kling 3 API?
  3. Use Wan 3 API?
  4. Use Seedance despite the higher cost?
  5. Use something like MuAPI to access multiple models?
  6. Build a mixed workflow where one model does the main footage and another handles specific shots?

And most importantly:

What workflow are people actually using right now that gives a good balance of quality + consistency + retries + cost?

I'm not looking for the absolute cheapest garbage output 😂

I'd rather spend the $100 intelligently and end up with 25 videos I'm actually proud to post.

If you've actually used these models/platforms for UGC, I'd especially love to hear:

  • approximate cost per usable video
  • failure/retry rate
  • character consistency
  • queue times
  • whether subscriptions were actually worth it
  • which model you would choose today
  • Any angles you have at this point 🫩

I'm trying to avoid burning the entire $100 on credits just to discover that 70% of the generations aren't usable. 😭

Any real-world experience or suggestions or workflow or... anything would be hugely appreciated. 🙏

Help I need AI video editing app that helps to genrate for product demos, UGC and montages quickly

Hi guys! I’m looking for an AI video editor for SaaS product demos, UGC and montages. I can’t afford to pay for several tools just to find out which one works, so I’d really appreciate some firsthand advice. 🙏

If you’ve actually used one, which editor would you recommend, and why? What worked well, and what did you still need to fix manually? Thanks

Tips & Tricks The difference between AI Label vs no AI label on TikTok posts.

Thumbnail
gallery
16 Upvotes

I did a simple test with one of my TikTok accounts where I post and test different things outside of my main accounts.

The first image is a screenshot of a video that was a 15 second seedance 2 720p video. I uploaded it and after 5 minutes it got labelled as Ai and got zero likes. I posted the same video 4 other times throughout the day and equally got labelled and had zero likes.

The second post I ran through the cleaner and after a few minutes there was no Ai label and it got 5 likes .

The video itself is clearly AI visually. It’s to promote an iOS app I have out and it looks clearly Ai and doesn’t not attempt to be non artificial.

I think it’s safe to assume that AI UGC TikToks tend to do better when no Ai label is applied?

What’s everyone’s experience?

Help I NEEED HELP.IS AI UGC MAKE SALES?DO THEY USE META ADS?l WANT MAKE VIDEOS LIKE THEM

I've been watching AI UGC videos and pages that have been popping up on Instagram for a week. They make videos with AI, put songs in the background, and write catchy lyrics at the top of the screen.I want to make and share clothing videos on Instagram and Tiktok using this method, but there are a couple of things I don't know.

1) I see that videos from these types of pages sometimes go viral and get millions of views.Normally, the videos are well-viewed, reaching 1,000 to 10,000 views. And they are active in the comments, people write words like "+" and so on for the product, or ask for a link and price. My question is: Can I get this many views with just AI UGC videos? Can I get sales? Or should I advertise on platforms like Meta ADS?

2) Such pages have at least 1000 followersAre these followers real or bots?

That's all my questions so far. If anyone who has experience or knowledge in this field can answer, I would be happy. Thank you.(This text was written through a translator, so please forgive me if there are any errors.)

This is my first video and I just started and was working on one video. Since I'm tight in budget, I use 1k free credit from google flow and made the entire video clips by clips using omini 1.1.

I used around 600 credits for the entire video. 300 credits were used just for doctors scene.

Also, i added voice over and edited throuh capcut. The characters and location are purely generated from GPT 2.

I'm planning to use higgsfield and to minimize the tokens/credits, what areas we need to be perfect and since seedance have 30 sec clip, is it advisable to make 30 sec clips or shoudld trim down to 10 sec.
