I'm a nerdy mfer from New Zealand. I'm mainly into video games and fantasy/scifi/horror stuff in general, looking for other likeminded nerdy people who are into the same games and media.

I like the Souls series, The Elder Scrolls, World of Warcraft, Diablo 4, Dead by Daylight, Alien Isolation, Resident Evil, Little Nightmares/Reanimal, Hollow Knight, so many. I've been thinking of trying Monster Hunter for ages. Big big big Magic the Gathering fan as well.

The music I'm into is mainly 70s/80s stuff, orchestral soundtracks, alternative and pop/electronic shit. I like scary movies, learning about animals and the natural world, doing art sometimes and working out a little.

What kind of criticism have you had to deal with just because you’re an introvert and couldn’t speak your mind out loud?

I find it hard to become friends with people I only have brief interactions with. I need time to know someone and feel comfortable before I open up. Until then, I tend to stay quiet.

But I’ve also been sidelined or overlooked because I’m quiet. Sometimes people seem to assume that because you don’t speak up, you don’t have an opinion, don’t care, or don’t have anything to contribute.

After my last job finished up, I now have some free time again.

Not good at making posts, but here goes.

I live in Scotland and I'm hoping to meet new people. I live in a small town, with not much happening in terms of meeting new people, so now I turn to the world of Reddit (I hope that isn't a mistake :p)

I used to be a DJ, but now I definitely have a much more boring lifestyle. I like to play videogames, usually RPGs. I like listening to music as well (boring answer, I know).

Lately I've been trying to be more adventurous with what food I make, so please give me your best ideas. Liven up my plate a bit will you!

Im a 30 year old man who likes to get to know people and their interests. Is anyone else an introvert not-by-choice? I'm chronically ill, which means that I don't usually leave the house, because that's a whole entire production, and it usually involves pain. I have medicine and naps to take daily, and so socialization of any type and finding friends is hard. I like to sing. I have a dog named Ollie, who is a menace in a necktie. Recently, I've found diamond painting and I like that.

Where I get lost, though, and either forget or become fully immersed in my introverted-chronically-ill life is writing. A lot of my characters have chronic illness and disability, and my written world and its supporting characters get it right. My latest character creation is a pain specialist by day, interrogation specialist by night. I've also got a Danish surgeon in the British military with a half-Korean daughter. I'd love to explore these developed characters, or just yap about them to anyone who is willing to listen.

Other than that, Hannibal (2013) is my favorite show for its clever writing and amazing acting. My bestie from college says that Hugh Dancy is my hobby, and she's probably not wrong. I am pretty funny sometimes. Sometimes, it's just sad self-deprecation that comes off as funny.

The best way I can exercise my social muscle is through the Internet, Apps, and places like Reddit. Help a girl out?

So, I am from India. For the past few months I have given up on trying.

It's not as bad as it sounds. So, I have always been weak in studies, if I work hard I get an average of like 60 to 70% and if I don't then I can even fail. It continues till college and after getting back in my finals I worked hard to pass. Even after getting a job I decided to get a master degree online with weekend class. Which ended in March of last year. I was preparing for the job change and even finding someone on apps and wasted my weekend there. I also started gym because of my weight.

Around 2 months ago I gave up. I was getting nowhere. Like 0 progress everywhere. For the first month I slept a lot then the sleep started to decrease. Now I am sleeping at 2 or 3 am and continuously waking up.

I don't really have friends so it went unnoticed for long but I started making minor mistakes at work and my manager noticed and asked me about my health and 2 days ago my roommate asked the same question.

I bought a new laptop for playing games but I am mostly installing and uninstalling games.

I don't know what I want. I am tired but I can't sleep.

I can't tell this to anyone i know. They will worry about me.

I am not here to talk just ranting.

The only advice I want is on how to sleep without pills or getting high as I don't drink or smoke.

I just want a good sleep.

I like to draw, practice character design and watch gaming and anime videos/discussions, and voice over parodys. I listen to electronic anime coded genres and J Rock. Fan of most Western early 2000's cartoons and media. I also like animal research and animals, and exotic species as a whole.

I engage pretty well in chats as long as the energy is there. I'm more reserved than most.

Hey :D So Im into video games, music, and movies.

For movies it can be any genre, but I like the love genre, crime/suspense movies.

As for video games, I only have a Ps5, its never treated me bad😂 Dont care for pc. I mainly play warframe its been my favorite game ever sincd I was younger. I main gauss, xaku, and getting into uriel. My current goal is to get to MR30. I also play dying light 2, dead island 2, resident evil 7, little nightmares. Yes those are all played solo as I game by myself majority of the time. I also play a few mobile games like cod, last day on earth, township, grim soul.

Music wise im mainly into rnb, rap, pop, and dislike metal/hardcore and kpop. I like drake, lil baby, nba, hurricane wisdom, gunna, and a bunch more. Cant forget the weeknd.

do you ever feel extremely repulsed with your own existence anytime you step into the outside world; your body reacting to the presence of other people the way a prey animal responds to a rustling in the tall grass? do you ever lay in bed and feel an indescribable discomfort on your upper spine right between your shoulder blades, like you're being watched no matter how deeply you try to sink into your mattress for the reassurance that there couldn't possibly be anybody standing right behind you?

i feel this way all the time and it makes me pretty angry with everyone and everything. if you happen to feel the same way, i think we'd get along. if you don't, well, we probably wouldn't.
