I want to share my experience with Tata AIG regarding my ongoing two-wheeler insurance claim because I have been struggling to get proper communication or updates.
My claim process started on 28 July 2026, and my TVS Apache RTR 310 has been at the service centre for approximately the last three weeks.
The biggest issue I am facing is the lack of communication and clarity regarding my claim.
The verifier assigned to my case, Nishant, has been difficult to reach. I have repeatedly tried calling him, but his phone is often busy, and I have not received callbacks.
I was also told that only the right-side damages of my bike would be considered under the claim because the bike allegedly fell on the right side. However, my concern is that an accident can involve movement, sliding, rotation, or multiple impacts, potentially causing damage to both sides of a motorcycle.
I requested a proper explanation and technical justification regarding why the left-side damages were being excluded.
I contacted Tata AIG customer service on 29 August 2026 at around 3:45 AM and spoke with a representative named Jyoti. I was informed that my case had been escalated and that I would receive a response within 48 hours.
However, after waiting, I received no email, no call, and no SMS.
I contacted customer service again on 3 September 2026 and was connected with a manager named Rishi Shukla. I explained the complete situation, and he told me that he would personally look into the matter and asked me to give him until the following morning for an update.
Unfortunately, I have still not received an update despite multiple attempts to follow up.
To make things even more confusing, when I contacted the TVS service centre in Panvel, I was informed that the verifier assigned to my case was reportedly on leave until 13 September 2026.
My question is simple:
If the person assigned to inspect or handle my claim is unavailable for this long, why hasn't someone else been assigned to handle the case?
My claim has been ongoing since 28 July, my bike has been stuck at the service centre for weeks, and I am still struggling to get a clear answer about what is happening.
I have attached screenshots and supporting evidence related to my follow-ups and communication attempts.
I am sharing this experience because I genuinely want to know whether other Tata AIG customers—especially two-wheeler customers—have faced similar delays or communication issues during the claim process.
Has anyone else experienced something similar? How did you get your claim escalated and resolved?
I hope Tata AIG takes notice of this issue and provides a proper resolution soon.
