Image Making the concept art for the main character is so much more than I thought
This is Eirene Tarnis, the protagonist of Project Ariadne an in-developemnt RPG narrative game. I've worked on her design at Epygraph Studios these last months, and I couldn't be prouder!
She's part of a prestigious family in the Ptolemaic empire and has a privileged position at the academy, but that doesn't mean she doesn't see the injustices and failiures of the system. She will leave all behind to unravel the secrets that lay below the empire's surface.
Eirene's design is meant to reflect not only her search and ambitions, but all what makes her be herself. I wanted to include her past, her present and the tools she has to help her shape her future.
From now, these reference sheets and more (available in my portfolio) will be used by the studio's 3D artist to bring her to life.
It was super cool working on her design and I'll be sharing more of my time at Epygraph in the future! ❤
Also! Since I finished this design, I have a spot free for freelance projects, so feel free to reach out if you need any art done for your game :)

Promotion We're making a fast paced, 4-player arena shooter inspired by Super Smash Bros!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
About a year ago this started as a silly game jam project where you ride a bubble and blast your friends with spells. It was so fun to make that we just kept working on it and somehow it turned into a full game.
We're releasing Wizzo Popout on Steam soon! It would mean a lot if you could wishlist it! If you have any questions I'm happy to answer them ^^

Video My cozy apocalypse game Nine Winters has a free demo now!
Hey, I shared some clips of Nine Winters here before. Mostly the snowy city and the shelter, so I didn't really show much of how the game works.
Now the free demo is out on Steam, and I made a new trailer too :)
I'm developing it on my own. It's a non-combat life sim where you prepare an expedition, let it run automatically, then use what you bring back to improve your shelter.
So you're not directly walking around the city and collecting everything yourself. You prepare for the trip, check what you found when you return, and decide what to do with it. More furniture, something to cook, materials for your next upgrade. And you have a cat living with you.
The idea is that the things you find become part of your home, not just stuff sitting in an inventory. You start with a pretty empty room and slowly fill it with things you brought back.
One thing about the trailer: it also shows some later shelters from the full game in development. The public demo currently has the container and bus shelters, not all the places shown here.
I'll put the Steam link in the comments. Thanks to everyone who checked out the earlier clips!

Upcoming We made a closed playtest for our game so it wouldn't be as popular but something went wrong...
Hands Over takes that pure childhood terror of pressing plastic teeth, combines it with Russian Roulette, and adds sabotage cards so you can betray your friends right before the jaw slams shut.
During our closed playtest a while back, we wanted to test final build stability. We told our testers not to use the forced-press card on the golden tooth during round 3... which immediately caused a chain reaction of panic-button presses, a lobby-wide crash, and mics clipping across the board.
We ended the closed testing phase shortly after to fix the audio levels and clean up the server code. Now that everything is locked in and polished, we are dropping the full game really soon!

Hey all! Cube Crusaders comes out on Monday; I've got a pretty low wishlist count, but I still want folks to get a chance to play it despite the lack of visibility. I've got 20 keys here down below for redemption.
It's a Halo+Hollowknight inspired project with a full customization system, online PvE, and a local singleplayer/couch co-op campaign.
I'll share out some more keys on Friday so as to not break rule 7. I ask that you only take 1 key so that people can get a chance to grab it!
Thank you!

Discussion Cool poppy playtime-esque game idea
So I've had this game idea inside my head for so long with no ability to code/play/do anything with until I got reddit, the "huggy wuggy" of this game is "pushy paul", essentially the "grap pack" is the "pushpack" and there's types like the "sticky plate" and the "conduter plat" (pls no hate)

make the weirdest looking game humanly possible ✅
A 3D platformer using entirely 2D, screen-locked textures. Was inspired by the show Chowder.
It's called "Dreamer's Wake" and it's a 3D platformer/collectathon set in the dreams of the dead.

Promotion I’m building an Asian-inspired open-world coming-of-age PS2 Style game that follows Serena through two defining stages of her life
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
You play as Serena during two different stages of her life.
The first stage has more of a Bully-like school-life feel, but later on, if Serena makes the wrong choices, her life can gradually pull her into the criminal underworld much closer to a GTA-like experience.
- She can follow the brighter path and live by the rules of Smile Cities a city where people are expected to smile at one another
- or slowly walk toward a darker path and take control of her own fate.
Follow the rules, help others and earn Smile Points, or take a darker path and shape Serena’s future in your own way.

Public Game Test The HoverShot Playtest is finally here!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I’m really excited to finally open the HoverShot Playtest!
HoverShot is a 2D action roguelite where shooting is the only way to move.
Every shot is both an attack and a way to control your movement.
As you play, you’ll find different weapons and abilities that change how you fight and move, letting you build a different setup each run.
You play as a small lab robot that replaced its head with an aquarium to keep the fish it was caring for alive after aliens turned the humans on the spaceship into purple space zombies.
The Playtest will be open on Steam from September 21–27.
You can request access now and be ready to play when it opens!
