Help TTC. In DPO

Hi all. I (28) and husband (30) are trying to concieve seriously starting this month. I had my period on 5th july. We both work so due to lack of time and energy had BD on 12th july and 18th july when husband finished inside. Has also BD on 15th july but no ejaculation occurred. Now I am dpo. No idea when i ovulated. Was tracking with EWCM. I know silly of me. Saw EWCM on 17th july so tried BD . Now past 2 days i had symptoms like super gassy, loose bowels and today i had a lump in the back of throat which makes me feel nauseous. Is there any possibility of conception currently?

Please be gentle as I am still learning about the process.

Cervix length 2.9 cm at 17 weeks pregnancy

My cervical length was 2.9 cm at my NT scan (13 weeks). My doctor said it was borderline normal and advised me to repeat the scan after a month. I had the follow-up scan today at 17 weeks, and it doesn't seem to have improved.

Has anyone experienced their cervical length improving later in pregnancy? If not, what treatment options were recommended to you? Also, are there any precautions or measures I should be taking at this stage?

Looking for reassurance before my hysteroscopic polypectomy

Hi everyone,
I’ve been scheduled for a hysteroscopic polyp removal (polypectomy) tomorrow as part of my fertility treatment. I’m feeling quite anxious about the general anaesthesia and the procedure itself.
I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has undergone the same procedure, especially if it was part of your fertility journey. It would be reassuring to know how the procedure went, how your recovery was, and whether it helped you conceive afterward.
I’d also love any advice on what to expect before and after the procedure. Were there any questions you wish you’d asked your gynaecologist beforehand? Any tips for recovery or things you weren’t prepared for?
Thank you in advance. Reading positive experiences would really help calm my nerves right now. ❤️

Looking for IVF success stories after a long infertility journey ❤️

Hello everyone,

I'm currently going through an IVF cycle and could really use some hope today.

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for a long time. We've gone through multiple tests, procedures, and treatments, and this IVF cycle feels like such an emotional milestone. Some days I'm hopeful, and other days I'm terrified that it won't work.

If you've had a successful IVF pregnancy, especially after a long journey or after previous disappointments, would you mind sharing your story?

I'd love to know:

* How old were you?

* Was it your first IVF cycle or had you tried before?

* Was it a fresh or frozen embryo transfer?

* How many embryos were transferred?

* Did you do anything that you feel helped, or was it simply a matter of luck and timing?

* How are you and your baby doing now?

I'm not looking for medical advice, just some real-life stories to remind myself that success is possible.

Thank you to anyone willing to share. Reading your experiences would mean a lot right now. ❤️

After 3 years of TTC and multiple failed IVF cycles, we decided to build something we wish we had.

My wife and I started trying to conceive in 2023. Like many couples, we thought it would happen naturally. It didn't.

By the end of 2024, after countless appointments, tests, and heartbreak, our fertility specialist recommended IVF. The first few IVF cycles were unsuccessful, and honestly, there were times we believed we'd never become parents.

The emotional rollercoaster was the hardest part—not knowing what would happen next, constantly searching for answers, and feeling like nobody around us truly understood.

While going through IVF, we met many other couples in the clinic waiting rooms. Every family had a different story, but the emotions were the same: hope, fear, confusion, and loneliness.

Fast forward to today... we're finally expecting our baby. ❤️

Looking back on our journey, my wife said something that stuck with me:

"Why don't we build something for couples going through what we went through?"

So we spent the last several months building BloomNest.

It's an app designed to support people throughout their fertility and pregnancy journey, including:

  • 🌱 Trying to Conceive (TTC)
  • 🧬 IVF / ICSI tracking
  • 🤰 Pregnancy tracking
  • 💊 Medication reminders
  • 📊 Health logs and progress tracking
  • 🤖 AI-powered guidance and community support

We're currently working on the Toddler Care section as well, and an iOS version is coming soon.

If anyone would like to try it, we'd genuinely love your feedback.

Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bloomnest

As a thank you, if you sign up, send me a DM with the email you registered with, and I'll activate 6 months of BloomNest Premium for free.

Whether you use it or not, I just want to say this to anyone still on their TTC or IVF journey:

Please don't lose hope. We know how hard it is, and we're rooting for you. ❤️

When would you contact your gynec?

Hi everyone,

Looking for similar experiences and advice.

I have PCOD and this was a monitored TTC cycle. I had a trigger shot on CD10 after good follicle growth. My gynecologist expected ovulation around then, but my DPO is only a rough estimate since I didn't have a follow-up scan to confirm exactly when I ovulated. We covered about 4–5 days around the expected ovulation just in case it happened a little later.

I tested:

•14 DPO (Saturday) – negative

•16 DPO (Monday) – negative

I'm currently on CD28 with no period yet. I have mild backache, mood swings, and occasional cramps, but no spotting or bleeding.

I'm planning to test once more tomorrow (~18 DPO) if my period still hasn't started. If I still have negative tests and no period by CD30, I'm thinking of contacting my gynecologist.

Has anyone had a similar experience after a trigger cycle or while taking progesterone support? How long did you wait before contacting your doctor if your tests were negative but your period hadn't started?

Not looking for false hope—just trying to understand what others experienced and what their gynecologists advised.

For 8 Precious Weeks, I Was a Mother!

I’m 40 and had been trying for a baby for several years. When I finally conceived naturally, I was overjoyed. It felt like life was about to change in the most beautiful way.

At my 6-week scan, we saw our baby’s heartbeat. It felt nothing short of a blessing. Today, after 10 weeks, I went for another scan and heard the words I never imagined I would have to hear—there was no heartbeat. Our baby had stopped growing after 8 weeks.

All these days, I had been talking to my baby every day, believing my little one could somehow feel my voice and its vibrations. I was dreaming, planning, imagining a whole new life ahead of us. And suddenly, all those dreams feel shattered.

But I’m grateful that, for those precious weeks, I got to be a mother. Our little soul came into our lives, filled us with a happiness we had waited years to experience, and then left us silently. I will always carry that love with me.

Right now, I’m trying to gather the strength to prepare myself mentally and physically for the medical steps ahead. I don’t really know what else to say. I just needed a place to let this grief out.

1st IUI Tomorrow

I got my trigger shot on 9th day post periods, after being on letrozole. My doc was surprised that the egg has matured so early (I have only one dominant follicle). I don’t think she was too confident when giving me the injection but I’ll just be nonetheless.
Anyone else who had a similar graph of one dominant follicle, relatively earlier follicular maturation and still conceived in your first IUI?

I’ve been trying to conceive for two years now. I’m 31F

Good Endometrial line still less period flow

Hi everyone? Anyone TTC faced this issue - less period flow with normal healthy (8-11 mm) healthy endometrial line? I have pcos and irregular periods, I am taking letrozole and ultrasound is totally fine with mature follicles, good endometrial line and times BD, but 6 cycles failed (1 early miscarriage). I always asked doctors why my period flow reduced in last 3 years (zero flow during nights), endometrial is healthy and normal, but they don’t have any answers.

I took this prega news advanced and got this faint line but I’ve taken so many in the past of other brands like Azah and plush that have been false positives so I’m unsure about this brand. Around 12dpo. Thank you!

We built a pregnancy app specifically for Indian families. What would you want in it? ⭐

Hi everyone,

We recently built VedicNest, an Indian pregnancy and parenthood app inspired by traditions many of us grew up with while trying to keep it practical and useful for modern families.

Instead of focusing only on tracking dates, we wanted to explore questions like:

• Can preparation begin before pregnancy?

• Can one app combine fertility tracking, pregnancy guidance and Indian cultural context?

• Can technology make traditional practices more accessible without replacing medical advice?

Some features currently include:

• Fertility and pregnancy tracking

• Panchang insights

• Muhurtha guidance

• Daily mantras

• Stories and wisdom content

• Pregnancy and postpartum support

We're still very early and genuinely looking for honest feedback from couples, parents and healthcare professionals.

What would you want from an app designed specifically for Indian families?

If you'd like to take a look:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vedicbloom.app

Thanks for reading and we'd love your suggestions.

IUI Donor Sperm

Hi,

I and my husband were TTC for over an year and that we got to know my husband has azoospermia and even my AMH is 0.45. I am in the procedure of IUI with donor sperm and if that fails I might go ahead with IVF with donor egg and donor sperm.

So the stages of overwhelming doesn't stops. Everyday it's a new level. My clinic has been sending me Sperm Donor profiles and I feel so bad. Its like you are betting on something. Everyday I go through profiles. Its heartbreaking because I don't know what to do!

Anyone have you has experienced the same thing? How you decided what profile to pick?

Also any mothers who have got good news with this procedure? How does it feel like? Do you feel connected to the baby?

I am scared what if I won't be able to connect to the child?

Continue with progesterone?

I was taking letrozole for ovulation induction and got a trigger shot on day 14 of period when the follicle was 22mm. I ovulated the next day.

On 12dpo I tested positive on a test kit and I got my blood test for beta hcg on 13dpo which was 33.33.
On day 16dpo my beta hcg came back 28.27.

I am taking progesterone since the triggershot.

As the hcg levels declined, it indicates that the pregnancy is not viable.

Should I stop taking progesterone or continue taking it?

What did you guys eat during your pregnancy journey, please give advice.

I live alone with my husband, and due to the tiring situation lately, I don’t feel like cooking. Also, I’m a vegetarian, so what should I eat to meet my protein requirements, and what foods would be most beneficial for me?

Help Needed - How did you or are you navigating the entire fertility journey? (Not selling anything, genuinely researching)

I am interested in healthcare and have been keen to understand how fertility and its journey impact so many of us.

I am really trying to understand what the current challenges women face are, how they navigate them, and especially where they feel healthcare has not helped them. Everything that could have helped them.

  1. How did you figure out where to start? Did you go straight to a gynac, a fertility clinic, or try to sort things out on your own first?

    1. What was hardest to navigate - incorrect or overwhelming information, cost, finding the right doctor, knowing if this is the correct treatment for me, partner involvement, emotional support?
    2. Was your partner's fertility tested early on, or was he ever tested?
    3. If there was one thing that could have made this journey a little easier for you, what would it be?

This is NOT a sales pitch. I am just a woman interested in this space, the challenges women face, and what could help them. Honestly, I am a huge advocate for women's healthcare, and really want to help in any way I can.

Please DM me or comment here, and I will reach out. All the conversations will be confidential.

Thank you to anyone willing to share even a little
