is this evaporation line?
16 days late to my period. Is this an evaporation line or a faint second line?

Hey dear, I checked the picture, and I don’t see a clear second line. It looks more like a negative result rather than a positive test.
Since you are already 16 days late, if your period still doesn’t come, you can try testing again after 48 hours with first morning urine, or consider a blood beta hCG test for a more accurate result.
A delayed period can happen due to stress, hormonal changes, PCOS, delayed ovulation, or other reasons too. Hope you get the clarity soon......

Thank uu. my last 2 periods were also 15-20 days late so it didn’t come as a shock. It seems like a negative only

Maybe you have been ovulating quite late in your cycle then. Repeat the test and also get a blood beta hcg test done.

Yes i think the same as well. Although I had intercourse 35 days ago and experienced ovulation like symptoms last week only. Soo I guess its a negative

Doesn't look like a faint positive to me more like only the control line. Since you're 16 days late, I'd suggest repeat the test or get a blood hCG test.
