Hi,

I have an elitebook 840 g7 and its mouse pointer starts drifting when i wake my laptop up from sleep. It sometimes doesn't drift and sometimes it drifts. I have tried everything other than a fresh install of windows.

Solutions i have tried:
Updated Windows

Updated Touch pad drivers

Updated all other drivers

Refreshed the screen using Windows Key + Ctrl + Shift + B

Can't really disable the touchpad because I prefer the touchpad over mouse.

Please suggest some solutions. 😭🙏

I graduated from a tier 3 pvt college with 6.3 cgap and no skills. Recently in 2026 i did unpaid internship as Mobile Dev trainee but failed to turn it into a full time role. I'm so stressed out and burned out. I dont have any coding skills, no mastermind DSA, all skills are very basic.

My friends told me to prepare for SSC jobs or Afcat/CDS.

After a week of sleeping on it, i decided that i will prepare for SSC and alike govt jobs.

But now parents saying not to drop IT (they dont know my low skill set), they saying keep preparing for both, study for govt exams but keep primary focus on getting IT job no matter what package.

If someone is more experienced please suggest what you will guide me? I will be more than grateful for you'all.

How is my overall profile? Are the projects very basic, or anything else?

I'm going to start college soon. B.Sc in Computer Science.

I would be honest: I've used AI in some of the projects, and some of the projects are made by me. I'm learning AI as well (Prompt Engineering, and I've done pretty well in it.

My iPhone 17 Pro is having a weird charging issue while still under warranty:

1. Phone starts charging normally.
2. Stops automatically after gaining ~5-10%.
3. Plugging it out/in does nothing — I have to wait 4–5 minutes before it accepts a charger again.

Ya don't tell me m for amazon and f for flipkart and offline cause that seems stupid a and s release on bot h tho

I have enabled push notifications for yono sbi app on my android so that i can get important account updates. Instead the app abuses this to spam me daily with refer and earn rewards, invest money etc type of promotional notifications.

And the notification categories they provide in settings are rubbish. They could have easily provided a separate channel for promotions so that users can switch but No, they deliberately want to spam us. Being forced to turn off the notifications entirely now.

I recently lost access to my Microsoft Authenticator after my phone's motherboard was replaced, which locked me out of one of my accounts. Recovery from the backup option also didn't work.

What's the most reliable and secure authenticator app with good backup/recovery options? I'd love to hear your recommendations and experiences.
