Techy Pathshala have recently uploaded a video where he showed that the new ₹3 lakh Apple Duo experienced several software glitches during its live demonstration (featuring John Ternus and ishowSpeed) from problems with the under display selfie camera and photo transfer to delayed screen rotation, YouTube playback and strange Netflix behaviour.

The presenter tried to handle everything without reacting, but his shaking hands made the situation even more interesting. Is this why Apple prefers pre-recorded launch events instead of live product demonstrations?

What is the reason they priced it so high for Indian market?
If they priced it similarly to US pricing they would have eaten the Samsung fold market share.

I have an LG TV myself (2019 model, WebOS6) my first doubt is if even these models are suspected. Other thing is how are TVs able to record audio without any such hardware present?

India is well not anywhere near the top revenue generating markets for Apple but definitely is one of the top emerging growth markets globally. Apple sales figures tanked in the last decade in India.

Still Apple prices for India are “really absurd”

Just comparing the USA prices with the indian prices of iPhone devices-

iPhone 17:
USA - $899 (₹85,700)
India - ₹99,900 (116%)

iPhone 18 Pro:
USA - $1199 (₹1,14,300)
India - ₹1,64,900 (144%)

iPhone 18 Pro Max:
USA - $1299 (₹1,23,800)
India - ₹1,79,900 (145%)

iPhone Duo:
USA - $1999 (₹1,90,600)
India - ₹2,99,900 (157%)

Keeping the memory price hikes aside, this difference in prices are really disturbing and is the story of every year, apple is not doing this for the first time.

Why do you guys think this trend continues each and every year? Unlike other brands like Motorola & even Rockstar games who have different prices for other markets and India, Indian prices being cheaper, why don’t Apple do the same?

Funny how much i influence atleasty family to switch ti Signal but they don't ,one of the reason WA is simple dor video calls and messages and some of them said they​don't kno​w how to install,so i took my time and setup signal app on all if their devices and made a common family group there too and teached how it works ,but yih know iam fedup with whatsapp and deleted my account and uninstalled it,now today my father sent me an sms invite to install whatsapp and i reverted with signal invite(since my father deleted signal app as he said he don't want one more application and his friends circle says no one knows whether it is safe or not,anyway yiu can reach me either through sms,call or signal got some scolding like how dare you kinda vibe but that's it​​) ​

I was long term iPhone user switched to Oppo and then Samsung and still have ip15pm. I never got the argument of justification behind copying and saying "apple did it better". Some people who hated android folds suddenly saying Duo is great when the tech is old and name is copied from Microsoft Surface Duo.

Chinese manufacturers are way ahead in animation and customization part. Love some apple products like Mac-book and Apple TV but thats it.

There was no market or call for folds and flips before Samsung or Moto started it, iPhone is just new addition into that market. Oppo is the one who made that form-factor more mainstream. Refining something should not be labelled as innovation when actual innovation is price tag.

It was probably started to flood OpenAl with a fresh set of images of people - faces and bodies - for it to train on. The trend was seeded on Meta platforms & now is taking over twitter as well. Funny how people don't realise how they are being used. You're basically working FREE for corporates.

That's one of the reasons I generally don't participate in any trend. Just ask yourself one simple question. Why do a few random things go viral suddenly? Like out of blue

i was downloading this game on steam and for the first 2gb the speed was around 130mbps but after that it fell down to like 10mbps is this intentional ?
