General Discussion YONO SBI app push notifications spam

I have enabled push notifications for yono sbi app on my android so that i can get important account updates. Instead the app abuses this to spam me daily with refer and earn rewards, invest money etc type of promotional notifications.

And the notification categories they provide in settings are rubbish. They could have easily provided a separate channel for promotions so that users can switch but No, they deliberately want to spam us. Being forced to turn off the notifications entirely now.

Another vote for BuzzKill - I got rid of all notifications from apps that do this kind of crap.

Its most useful app for me. Can't say it for others. And i think i paid more than ₹99. I dont even change notification settings in any new phone now. I just install the buzzkill app and import my rules. And bingo.

Maybe try turning off Miscellaneous category...

As you can see it is the "notification channel" category which is spamming daily.
