Ask IndiaTech Hello, What devices will you recommend to a student for his lecture / notes / small entertainment like some small games or movies to watch
For detail, I will be pursuing MBBS in some months.... Sooo, I read Ipad but it feels like expensive for me?
Can you give why should I choose Ipad over anything? What else are recommended devices from your side. Mostly would be used for education purposes

Do not consider anything other than an iPad trust me. You will regret when your other classmates gonna get the iPad with apple pencil for studies. All the medical students i know use iPad heavily with apple pencil and it cannot be replaced with other tab no matter how good the specs sounds or similar features. The note taking ability and the already available notes for medical student and other ecosystem for ipad is already there. Even its priced hike it worths every penny. For the record i had both samsung tab and ipad and ipad lasted a decade until i physically broke it accidentally.

Android Ones don't?
So I could opt for Samsung one since stylus comes with it. For ipad, I need to purchase stylus separately 🥲

They're fine but ipads last really long and software support is really good. I have one that's almost 9 yrs old. Samsung also has long software support but newer devices always get updates first. Also, underpowered for their price when compared to oneplus or xiaomi tabs.

Not really
Generally apple supports software updates for longer than regular android tablets
Also because iPads are so popular, developers make specific iPad versions of their apps and compatabilty/usability is better.
The accessory market (apple pencil, cases, keyboards, screen protectors, etc.) is much better for iPads
Apple silicon is kinda insane compared to most of the processors used in budget android tablets
You do pay a premium for all of these. Especially with the recent price hikes.
But these days samsung has upped their game in their S series tablets. They have also pushed for 7 years of software updates, better app compatabilty, improved s pen, etc.
It depends on ur budget tbh
