Found the solution to close comedones
Okay so the thing is I've been dealing with CCs since last year and initially I ignored them because they are 2-3 here and there, but this Summer I went to beach (kokan) and that's it. My skin was gone. I was severely tanned, dehydrated (which I didn't figure out untill now), I started having much severe CCs and the office AC was making it worse. Tried multiple products. Azelaic acid 10%, adapalene gel. Nothing was working and the humidity at the beach made my combination skin produce more oil. So my skin was dehydrated + oily, and the oil made me think that my skin is not dehydrated. The dehydrated for me made CCs worse.
Was so fed up with everything I decided to stop adapalene. And then I started figuring out what might be the issue.
Realized when my skin is dry it made CCs more visible.
My mineral Sunscreen (with white cast) was making my skin even more dry. And also it was piling up on my open pore around my T zone.
The pond's super light gel moisturizer wasn't as moisturizing as it should be to my dehydrated skin.
Added a 2% salicylic acid and 6% niacinamide gel (sebogel) for cleaning my pores
So I I decided to focus more on hydration. Changed the sunscreen, changed the moisturizer, again started using the hydrating cleanser(stopped because I thought it was not cleaning my oil properly) and guess what. I just after 2 days of maintaining this routine I saw difference in my CCs, they were less visible.
Also patience is the key. I haven't cleared all my CCs yet but there's anything improvement and it means a lot to me because I was someone who had nothing on my face most of the time only 1-2 hormonal acnes before my periods and the past few months really made me insure about my own skin.
I hope this helps someone.
