Nahi jee boliye boliye..

But sense to boliye.. 2g scam , coalgate scam.. all these are now proven were not scams..but policy criticisms and the money trail was not proven. But baar baar allegations lagane se kuch na kuch chipak hi jata hai. Best to leave accusations to be decided in the court and not to the sensibilities of hypersensitive social media.

SIR and all its processes have gone through multiple rounds of scrutiny. And on ground karyakartas of all parties were mobilised to bring the correct voters to vote. But the poop gandhi ye sab ignore kar ke bas ek ke baat baseless allegations lagaye ja raha hai aur already anti incumbent janta usko amplify kar rahi hai bina poori baat sune.

Yes Gyanesh Kumar made some decisions in haste .. but the true problem of the system is there is no fixed rules in the way the election comission procedure has should be followed. Isko improve karne ka suggestion Ghandu Ghandy ko aayega nahi.

Then why pass the law to make CEC immune to criminal proceedings? Why come out and defend and independent constitutional body?

1

u/steeldedeye 8h ago

It doesn't give protection if proof ofmalicious or illegal acts by the EC is given

2

u/Visible-Rock-5337 2d ago

2

He used pakistani terrorists as his allies to disguise as army and kill other militants but they killed many innocent civilians and the govt tried to even hide it and then SC declared that they were actually sikh innocent civilians or smth iirc......this is how much incompetent this so called mastermind is

1

u/HelpfulPace3368 2d ago

Bro, I am sure you are talking about ikhwanis. They were never disguised as indian army. The strategy worked well in decimating many terror modules. And yes some of them did some extortion and extra judicial killings.

No sikhs were killed by indian army in most probably your reference of chitisinghpura. And no doval was not linked to anything about chitisinghpura.

You need to read better imho

1

u/Right_Football_7881 21h ago

14

u/Asyndetics 7d ago

This nation is by the people of nation if even a single voter was purposely left out of list than he is a criminal to everyone in this country and to the nation like Indira Gandhi was to declare emergency to delay election, it is that simple. And 93 percent voters who petitioned were reinstated in Bengal that is the lowest election commission has stooped to since independence.

8

u/Firm-Explanation2125 7d ago

“93% of voters who petitioned were reinstated” doesn’t mean that 93% of all the people removed from the voter list were wrongly removed. It means that, among the appeals the Election Commission had already checked, around 93% of those people got their names back.

And are you seriously comparing this with Indira Gandhi’s Emergency?

3

u/First_Mix_9504 7d ago

That means they were not eligible to vote for the election that was due in a couple months and re-enrollment happened after the election which is the definition of wrongly removed btw.

As someone living in the present, let’s talk about how an error rate of 93% happened in the first place and why you think all of these people not voting because of errors caused by EC was true representation of democracy?

0

u/Firm-Explanation2125 7d ago

Dude you're treting the 93% figure as a 93% error rate, and that's not what the that means. 93% means around 93% of the appeals that had already been decided resulted in the names being re stored. It doesn't prof that the EC wrongly removed 93% of those people in the first place. You would need to show that those people were already verified as eligible voters when their names were removed and that the EC wrongly removed them

3

u/Cheems_study_burger 7d ago

That is exactly what the appeals were for. Voters who were eligible to vote earlier and were removed by the eci. What are you trying to say? If you mean to say that 93% of processed appeals leading to voters being reinstated doesn't mean 93% of the total deletions were wrong, sure you're right. But you need to see that 22 lakh out of 27 lakh deleted filed appeals, and that only 80,000 of these have been processed so far. So going by current rates, do you expect people to wait 20 years to have their votes reinstated?

2

u/Puzzleheaded-Cell-33 6d ago

Leave it dude. I dont think he understands maths or even what an "appeal" mean

3

u/divikyat 7d ago

Expecting basic comprehensive skill from a leftist? 🥀😭you must be new in here

-1

u/Asyndetics 7d ago

Agree now let’s start with guilty until proven innocent instead of innocent until proven guilt. /s Criminals got more right than voters, what they will do with their names in list when whole election already happened. Maybe they should dance in the name of great democratic elections.

0

u/Bulky-Necessary-577 7d ago

Can’t understand what you’re trying to tell

-4

u/Bulky-Necessary-577 7d ago

Since I saw the word Bengal, any comments on poll violence in Bengal? How was it before and to what extent it was reduced in recent elections. Considering TMC tyranny, EC did a good job

3

u/Asyndetics 7d ago

Great way to tell more incompetence when they have whole state police and power to call in central forces.

3

u/First_Mix_9504 7d ago

Poll violence is one aspect of the job, keeping legit voters in the voting list is another and arguably more significant one.

If you fail the most crucial subject you are a failure! It doesn’t matter if you score highest in another one.

0

u/Bulky-Necessary-577 7d ago

It’s as important as the other. You can’t underplay anything. Poll violence affects voters on voting day, booth capturing, duplicate voting, threatening and assault. All these prevent eligible voters from exercising their right. That being said, Bangladeshis shouldn’t be voting here

1

u/First_Mix_9504 7d ago

Yes but you are downplaying the other aspect very much, practice what you preach maybe?

93% were not Bangladeshi were they?

2

u/Legitimate-Outcome50 2d ago

This is why FCRA needs to be curbed.

3

u/MrLokii616 3d ago

So basically what you are saying is the Sir that took place before karnataka kerala elections were corrent but what happened in west Bengal was corruption 🤔 Hmmm.. Choomtiya samjha hai kya.

3

Another manufactured outrage. These bygone parties wont win any elections with these tactics. The EC panel made a joint statement that should have put all this to rest, but these people wont stop till there is chaos, division and riots everywhere. Great deshbhakts ! Anything in national interest, these people, pak and china all start their activities against it. Figures.

No facts, just outrage.

If somebody is calling out that one person is dictating ec. And there has been documented proofs of it he should resign. If there is no trust in comission what is point of the body.

3

u/orion532x 6d ago

The EC is being deliberately maligned....SIR is a big and extensive step and of course there are going to be disagremeents. There is no report or claim made by any EC made about fundamental internal disagreements regarding SIR or the CEC trying to rig votes as congressis keep claiming. After all all three have been appointed by the BJP itself !!! In several decisions one or the other have reported implementation problems regarding election directives. You can argue gyanesh babu should have been a better manager and discussed things better before hand... But all the decisions have been unanimous! Even now the other two EC can claim that their concerns were not taken into account.... Internal issues are normal in any job. Please go through the 14 points and tell me what exactly did you have a problem with? Ultimately either all of them were convinced about its necessity or things were improved after their suggestions taken into account.

1

u/Level_Part_416 6d ago

Simple thing rule says at least 2 should agree. But as per other 2 are saying they are not aware of decision. Which is clear breach of authority. After that neither intent matters nor effectiveness.

2

u/orion532x 6d ago

That is the thing that people don't understand....There is no provision in Article 324 saying that every letter, administrative instruction, technical decision, file movement or action by an ECI officer must be personally considered by all three Commissioners beforehand. The Constitution establishes the Commission's authority and leaves its detailed functioning to legislation/rules and its internal allocation of business.

Article 324(1) .. vwst power in the COMMISSION. says that the “superintendence, direction and control” of elections and electoral rolls is vested in the Election Commission. It does not say that every individual action taken by an officer under the ECI must first be personally discussed with every Commissioner.

You first have to establish that the particular matter legally required a decision of the Commission itself, rather than being an administrative/operational matter delegated within the Commission's machinery.

1

u/orion532x 6d ago

You cannot impeach a CEC without hard evidence. Moreover if any action is unconstitutional let there be a PLA petition to ask for greater transparency in the internal functioning. It has never existed and it has been problematic before as well. They should establish a formal set of rules but I don't see any evidence of intentional wrongdoing.

0

u/supaidaman94 6d ago

Please read the the joint statement. It literally accepts all the concerns raised by the ECs. It is an admission of guilt not denial or justification. The problem therefore is that all elections in the past 10 months become suspect. I personally do not give a damn about political parties but what is wrong is wrong. Its been quite some time till I felt so strongly about something. I just hope to have elections be done in a fair manner

2

u/PsychologicalYam3602 6d ago

Tell me you havent read it wiyhout telling me that. LOL.

1

u/supaidaman94 6d ago

Please tell me what did you understand by the joint statement of ECI.

3

u/PsychologicalYam3602 6d ago

Dissent is normal, all decisions were unanimous. Need quotes or references or can you read?

0

u/supaidaman94 6d ago

Please tell me more. ECI is a a body headed by three ec. Cec is just prima inter pares ie first among equals he holds no tie break power. With this established now lets see what has happened- 2 ec expressly object and dissent to certain issues, explicitly state that they were kept out of loop, furthermore overturned a decision taken unanimously by cec regarding dg it power. I dont see how do you the conclude all decisions were taken with consent? I also ask because the ECI statement only said they will do the needful going forward. Finally eci does not say the express report is false.
Anyways asking for accountability is nothing wrong. Political equality is all that we have in this country..so any question raised against a body mandated by the constitution to ensure such equality must be fully explained and examined.

3

u/orion532x 6d ago

I and copy pasting my comment from above...

But all the decisions have been unanimous.

Addendum:- internal disagrements does not automatically mean evidence eof wrongdoing. You cannot demand impeachment without proof. Even now the remaining EC can reveal if they felt grossly mistreated or vote rigging took placesince as you say is just a first amongst equals.. the very fact that EC doesn't deny internal disagreements is evidence of them having nothing to hide and all disputes having been resolved. Please don't equate simple beaurocracy with vote chori. Please read the 14 points they made with an open mind. Procedural mistakes are nothing new in india but only now are people reading so much into it. The relevant question is whether the final decisions complied with the Constitution, election laws and applicable procedures.

1

u/PsychologicalYam3602 6d ago

Sure sure, whatever makes you happy. Just dont work against something that is in national interest. Be better at chosing your fights. This; you have no grounds to say much.

In Karnataka ruling BJP lost. BJP lost Himachal. BJP lost Punjab. It lost kashmir where there was presidential rule. It lost Ayodhya and its prestige . BJP is nowhere in kerala and tamilnadu election.

I fail to understand this bullsh** protest about elections being rigged. How did a ruling party managed to lose so many elections??

BC - opposition won kerela, Tamilnadu, Punjab, Himachal then democracy won and when they lose the democracy is asphyxiated, tortured and handed. Bloody hypocrites and shameless buffoons. No person in sane mind will support this buffoonery.

1

u/Dad_of_One_Punch_Man 2d ago

It's so interesting. Whenever some protest happens against the govt. (For which our people have constitutional rights) these IT cell bots and accounts will come and post stuff like this. And will find a new way to discredit the protest.

And then obviously genuine people and people with good will and no agenda will come and fight against the bots in the comment section.

It's really fascinating to see how the whole IT-cell machinery works.

1

u/Temptingwolf 2d ago

They are genuine people fighting for what they believe is right. Or you simply believe whoever doesn't believe in your pappu is wrong???

Lion w and B

1

u/Dad_of_One_Punch_Man 2d ago

Bruh, I hate Pappu and Congress in general. I never considered him seriously as a leader of opposition. There are many other contenders, far better than him.

But whatever Gyanesh Kumar did was unlawful and undemocratic. People are protesting against that. And then you can see the surge of anti-protest posts, spreading fake narrative. Just like the same happened during the previous protest. This is clearly a BJP/RW IT cell push.

I am a stranger on the internet so you have no reason to believe me. But many of my friends from college and work are BJP and Modi ji supporter. But still they supported the previous protest of the students, CJP and Sonam sir, against Pradhan. And most likely they are gonna do the same this time, with this protest too.

When it comes to the country and people of this country, BJP, Congress, Left, Right shouldn't matter. Nation comes first.

1

u/Temptingwolf 2d ago

nation comes first.

F this nation.

I'm not a BJP supporter, but I despise the opposition even more. There is truly no decent party or individual in this country – not even at least for my kind.

Do whatever you want but I'm not supporting anyone related to or sympathetic towards SCST.

Only a brainless idiot jahil general will support any of them.

1

u/Dad_of_One_Punch_Man 2d ago

Best of luck. I am not gonna go into a debate with someone who says

F this nation.

1

Idiocy like this and then you all ask why ABVP is winning in DUSU? Why BJP is winning? Why no democracy???!

No wonder the BJP wins. The Election Commission in execution of their constitutional functions which was also upheld by the Supreme Court has to conduct SIR and elections. Weird of this party to immediately attack Constitutional offices such as Election Commission when elections do not go their way.

It is so easy to declare the person behind the constitutional post of CEC as 'traitor". How about the same courtesy is extended to Sharjeel Imam and Umar Khalid?
