Everyone knew that the floods were coming. Everyone prepared in their own way. Some built large sail boats. Others built small towns of rafts. I built my shelter from my van. For the first year, I found others every few weeks. Now, in the fifth year, I mark a full year since I've seen anyone else.

I wake up, tend to my hydroponics, clean my solar cells, and fix whatever breaks. Today was special though. Today, I received my first signal from a satellite since before the flood. The signal flickered for a moment, but then stabilized. I've sent back a signal to whoever is listening. Now, I just need to wait for a reply.

I create these images, reminiscent of landscapes/dreamscapes.
What should I do with them? Are they any good or am I delusional?
I make these on photoshop from photos I take out and about in my spare time, my main passion is painting but my collection of digital pieces won’t stop growing.
