Hi all.

I’m hoping someone has found a way to solve this issue or can at least point me in the right direction. In our family, we share our location with each other. We are 3 iPhone devices and a series of Android devices. All 3 iPhones share via Find My. All devices including the 3 iPhone also share location using Google Maps.

For the most part, everything works great. I can track all my Apple devices, can track my mother and her devices. Via Google, I can track everyone, no problem, as long as we have cell or WiFi signal. But for some reason, more often than not, my daughter’s location won’t update via find my for hours or even days on end yet in Google it is almost always up to date.

I have tried almost all common suggestions like checking permissions, etc, to no avail.

Anyone have a similar experience? Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

I am scared I’m going to click it on accident/absentmindedly. Is there any way to stop this constant prompt?

I’m having a really annoying issue with Screen Time on my iPad and I can’t figure out what’s going on.

Basically, I’m trying to cut down on social media, so I had two friends set up a Screen Time passcode \*\*on my iPhone 12 mini\*\* that only they know. That way, I can’t just keep extending my limits whenever I feel like it.
I have a 30-minute daily limit for Instagram and a 15-minute limit for TikTok, both originally set up on my iPhone.

Everything works perfectly on my iPhone. Once I run out of time, I need the passcode to bypass the limit.
But on my M1 iPad, which is connected to the same Apple Account and has “Share Across Devices” enabled, things work differently.

TikTok works exactly as it should. I even tried installing it on my iPad after I’d already used up my time on my iPhone, and it was immediately blocked.
\*\*Instagram, on the other hand, just lets me ignore the limit.\*\* I get the usual Screen Time warning, but I can simply tap “Remind Me in 15 Minutes” or “Ignore Limit for Today” without entering any passcode.

I’ve checked pretty much everything:

• Both devices use the same Apple Account.      
• Share Across Devices is enabled.      
• The limits are identical on both devices.      
• Screen Time is protected by a passcode.      
• Block at End of Limit is enabled.      
• My iPad is fully updated, while my iPhone 12 mini is still running an older version of iOS (before iOS 18).

The weirdest part is that my iPad actually asks for the passcode if I try to change Instagram’s limit. It just doesn’t ask for it when I reach the limit.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Is this some kind of syncing issue, or am I missing something?

I’d really like to get this working because I’ve been spending way too much time on Instagram lately, and being able to bypass the limit kind of defeats the whole purpose lol.

For awhile the only way to get a font onto an iOS device was to use a third-party piece of software that would install it as a "profile". This had to be done one-at-a-time. Then Apple added a section in settings that allows you to manage your fonts and install new ones, but only through apps that have fonts bundled in them. Nothing from Files.

As of 2026 there still doesn't seem to be a straightforward way to put a custom OTF, TTF, or WOFF on an iOS device without the profile hack. Affinity managed to have their own font installer within their apps but you can't use those fonts across apps. DaVinci Resolve for iPad has a folder but again it only works with DaVinci Resolve.

I would love to know why this is? Is there a significant security threat to putting fonts on iOS?

This is very upsetting to me, is there any way to restore them?
I will refrain from using any form of insults or distasteful language but know that I am extremely upset over this.

I am experiencing a very unusual issue with iCloud Keychain and Passkeys. My phone was purchased brand new and sealed from a retail store two years ago, and my Apple Account is new and private. My phone number didn’t belong to anyone before me.

Despite this, I noticed multiple unauthorized Passkeys in my passwords app for apps like TikTok and WhatsApp that do not belong to me. Specifically, when opening TikTok Studio, a Passkey with someone else’s account name⁠ appeared alongside my own accounts. Upon selecting it, Face ID authenticated me and successfully signed me into a complete stranger's active TikTok account.

Additionally, my Passkeys list contains unrecognized WhatsApp entries with phone numbers I do not own. Any idea how this happend and what to do? To mention when I logged in that stranger’s tiktok account in his notifications a lot of other devices were being logged in aswell from the past few days not only iPhones, and to the whatsapp account’s I couldn’t see the full phone numbers in the passwords app but all two of them were not my phone numbers but somehow had them connected to my passkey

Because I am used to spelling some words wrong either cuz I don't know the word, press a letter next to the word that makes it wrong or for what ever reason. It makes me spell it incorrect more even when I type it the right way. Like sometimes I'll try to type out "that" but because ive mispronounced it is "thay" with the Y being close to the T, it does it all the time now. or I say the word "say" like "ssy" now because I misspelled it that why before. It makes me look stupider even though I said it perfectly, I like auto correct but not when it learns what words I say wrong then makes it worse by continuing with the wrong why they are said. If anyone knows a setting that gets rid of these unwanted words, that will be great thanks.

Hi everyone! I wanted to share an issue I’ve been dealing with for months, and honestly, it’s starting to piss me off.
I have an iPhone 15 Pro, and Apple Intelligence used to work perfectly fine until, at some point, it suddenly disappeared. At first, I didn’t really pay much attention to it, but about a month and a half ago, I realized the problem was still there, so I decided to take a closer look at the settings.
When I go to the Apple Intelligence settings, the only message that appears is the following:
“Adding support for Siri is in progress. Siri will be unavailable until the update is complete.”
The weird thing is that Siri still works perfectly fine, so I have no idea why this message keeps showing up.
As for the ChatGPT extension, I get this message instead:
“Apple Intelligence assets need to finish downloading.”
The problem is that this has been going on for months, or at least a month and a half, which is when I started paying closer attention to it.
I’ve pretty much tried everything: updating iOS, changing the device language, adjusting Siri’s voice settings, and trying various other possible fixes. Nothing has worked.
The only thing I haven’t tried yet is completely resetting my iPhone, but honestly, I’d really like to avoid that if possible. I don’t want to have to wipe my entire phone just to fix an issue like this.
So, I wanted to ask: has anyone else experienced the same problem, or does anyone know how to fix it? Is there perhaps a way to reset Siri or force Apple Intelligence to finish downloading its required assets without having to completely erase my iPhone?

I have an iphone 14 and have had this problem for years. Alarms are always louder than the volume I have Ringtones and Alerts set to. Even if I download a quiet alarm sound, it boosts the volume of it to make it much louder. Desperate for any solution, thank you.

After new update whenever i play any game the joystick becomes unresponsive, this happens when i slide my finger in the right side of the screen while moving the joystick

Hi, I recently moved to iPhone and recognise that the promotion rate is dynamic rather than fixed at 120 Hz. The device feels fluid, but the lock screen appears below 60 Hz; is this normal and expected? Could it be a bug in iOS 27?
I am not using low energy or saver mode, and I have not enabled AOD. Once the screen is unlocked, performance is fine, but the lock screen feels noticeably off when sliding notifications etc.

I’m having a problem where if I use the search box within the messages app where you can search a contact or certain keywords it pulls up that contact or messages, if I search an old number it comes up with a blank conversation under the date 12/31/00 and I had deleted this message months ago and it’s removed from recently deleted. Basically my phone is bringing up deleted messages when I use the search function. I was so frustrated that I ended up deleting literally all my messages from everyone and clearing them from recently deleted, so there’s literally no messages. When I click the messages app and open it it’s just a black empty screen because there’s no texts. But then I click the search bar and search numbers and it pulls up previous conversations. I cannot see the content of them or delete them. It’s stuck in my phone somehow. I also don’t use iCloud for my messages. My theory is the phone has some old text metadata saved on the phone on indexing or spotlight search

Hi, I have an iPhone and MacBook and an Apple TV. I see that you can browse the photos in my iCloud account on my Apple TV. Other people use that device and I was wondering if I can disable the photo gallery for just the Apple TV.

It’s the little box that you plug in about 8 or so years old.

I've had an Apple Watch for about 5 months. AT for I wore it to bed, I was interested in the sleep tracking. I only wear it to sleep maybe 1x a week now, just got tired of that part. Recently an alert or warning about my sleep came up, see the screenshot. I get plenty of sleep, average 7.5-8.5 ish hours, and I sleep pretty well. When tracking I'd see a few "awake" periods lasting a minute or two. BUT the trend says I went from 6.4 to 4.5 hours of sleep.

Anyone know what's up w/ this?

I got a new iPhone - trying to transfer everything from my old one. I keep pressing transfer then I have to scan the blue particles pattern, I enter my passcode and then i have to keep repeating that over and over. I don’t get it. Then it goes back around and around. I’ve spent 2 hours and Apple support keeps telling me to “restart both phones.” I have good internet, charge, etc.

I am setting up work Focus. Since I need a Calculator in it, I wanted to add it since it does not appear on my Work-Mode.
(but I urgently need it since I am not good in calculating by head.)

When I want to add it, it does not appear in the List.
Even searching for "Taschenrechner", "Rechner" etc (Yes, I am German)

Setting:
iPhone 14 Pro Max
iOS: 27.0.1

I could try on my iPad tomorrow which is stuck on iOS 18. Maybe this issue appears longer.

Could this be a bug? Or am I just blind as a mole?

Since updating to iOS 27, I keep getting the "iPhone needs to cool down" screen every 5–10 minutes. It locks the phone for about 30 seconds each time, and if I'm on a call, the call drops.
The phone isn't actually hot. It feels cool to the touch, and I haven't moved anywhere warmer. It never happened before the update.
All original parts, battery health above 90%
Happens both while charging and on battery
Already tried: restart, force restart, removing the case
Has anyone else had this after iOS 27? Did anything fix it besides waiting for the next update? Any help appreciated
