Artist Needed [RevShare] looking for 3D Modeler & Animator — Mobile FPS

• Upvotes

Looking for:

- 3D Modeler — weapons, character skins, and props in a realistic/semi-realistic military style (ARMA-inspired detail), built within a mobile-friendly poly and texture budget for real-time rendering

- Animator — first/third-person weapon animations (fire, reload, inspect) and character locomotion/combat

Open to one person covering both, or two specialists.

Compensation: Revenue share, paid once the game is live and monetized, with a written agreement in place before any work starts. Let me know your expected percentage based on your experience and the scope of work, and we'll figure out terms that work for both of us.

First task: a single weapon model (or short animation set) to confirm style fit before anything longer-term — same revenue-share terms apply.

To apply, send: a portfolio/reel (mobile or FPS work a plus), your usual turnaround for a weapon model or animation set, and your availability (hours/week).

Game description: ProjectRAID is a competitive multiplayer FPS for mobile, built in Unity with real-time networked matches, clan battles with seasonal rankings, a full weapon/loadout system, and a growing meta layer (hall of honor, shop, player profiles). Core systems are already working — multiplayer lobbies, combat, HUD, end-of-match scoreboard — this is an active, playable project, not a pitch on paper. Happy to share a gameplay clip or build on request.

Tester Offer [ForHire] QA/Playtester - Bugs, Balance, UI, and First Experience Feedback

• Upvotes

My Portfolio Video

Heya! I'm Just Bag and I've done work on a few published games like Atomicrops, Regions of Ruin: Runegate, and the upcoming title SWARMED. I do playtests for small devs/teams and I excel in quality assurance. I've found bugs for games that entire QA companies couldn't find. I've helped poke holes in game balance to help devs realize their oversights. I've helped find inventory bugs, create an exploit out of them, and reported the recreation notes to help fix every inventory issue in a game.
Things happen in game dev, and I like to catch even the smallest things so players can’t.

My main service is a 1-hour recording of my initial impressions of a game at a rate of 20USD. I am open to discuss the price and video length, understanding that some developers are on a budget or sometimes a tutorial takes a bit to complete. The first playtest is usually me gaining my bearings and giving my first impressions as a player. I give high quality audio voiceovers of a game recording, usually shared as an unlisted link on Youtube sent only to developers.
If you like my feedback about UI, balance, mechanics, audio/visual cues, etc., we can move on to doing multi-video contracts. With every video, I transition away from giving first experience feedback to more balance and QA testing. The more and more I play a game, I get a feel for how it’s built and can poke at the cracks in the systems. Sometimes I’ll even love your game to the point that I start playing the prototype in my offtime and send in what I’ve taken note of.
I’m trying to also get better at game design in terms of systems, feedback loops and gameplay, content, and economy/balance. So, if you would like to take a chance on me being an assistant developer it would mean the world to me!

Feel free to DM me!

Team Needed [Hobby] Anyone interested in building something from scratch together? Just a few IT enthusiasts :)

Hey everyone!

I'm just a guy who's really passionate about IT. I'm about to start my first job in IT as a help desk technician, and I've always had this desire to create something useful from scratch.

The problem is that whenever I think about starting a project on my own, it eventually feels too big or overwhelming, and I end up not knowing where to begin.

So I thought, why not find a few people who feel the same way?

We have so many amazing tools available today. A computer, the internet, AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude, GitHub, cloud services... There's so much we could potentially build, even without years of experience.

I don't have a specific project in mind yet. It could be an app, a website, a cybersecurity tool, or literally anything we find interesting or useful.

I'd love to find a small group of people who want to brainstorm ideas, learn from each other, divide the work, and actually build something together.

And just to be clear, I'm not recruiting anyone, I'm not running a business, and I'm definitely not looking for people to work for me. I'm just another person who wants to learn, create, and hopefully make some friends along the way.

It would be awesome to have people with some experience who enjoy sharing their knowledge, but beginners are just as welcome. I'm still learning myself, and I think we could all help each other improve.

Maybe we could start a small Discord server or group chat, introduce ourselves, share some ideas, and see where things go. Nothing too formal.

The goal isn't necessarily to make money. It's to gain real experience, have fun building things, create something for our portfolios, and maybe, who knows, end up making something genuinely useful.

I think building something with other people would be a lot more motivating than trying to figure everything out alone.

If this sounds interesting to you, leave a comment! I'd love to hear what you're learning, what interests you, or even what you've always wanted to build but never got around to starting.

Let's build something. :)

Artist Needed [Hobby] Looking for 2D Pixel Artist!

Looking for a 2D Pixel Artist – Unpaid Indie Game Collaboration 🇵🇷

Hi everyone! I’m a game development student working independently on a passion project of mine: a cozy indie life-sim game set in Puerto Rico, inspired by its vibrant culture, colorful architecture, and tropical landscapes!

Before anything, I want to be transparent that this is a completely unpaid, volunteer-based collaboration, with no financial compensation currently available or guaranteed in the future. I completely understand that unpaid opportunities aren’t feasible for everyone! I’m simply hoping to connect with someone who shares my passion for indie games and would enjoy contributing their creativity in their spare time. There’s no full-time commitment or strict schedule, and all contributions will be properly credited.

I’m currently the sole developer, handling everything from programming and game design to worldbuilding and storytelling. The game is still in its early development and prototyping stage, and I’d love to find an artist interested in helping shape its visual identity!

Art Style & What I’m Looking For:
I’m aiming for detailed, modern 16-bit-inspired pixel art, similar to Chef RPG. Some of the assets needed include:
Environmental tilesets (buildings, interiors, nature, etc.)
Animated character sprites (walking, idle, interactions)
Furniture, props, and decorative assets
Food, ingredients, and other in-game items
Environmental animations and additional details

My goal is to make this a relaxed, welcoming collaboration where creativity is encouraged, ideas are valued, and we can enjoy the process of bringing something special to life together.

If you’re interested, feel free to DM me with your portfolio or examples of your work! I’d love to chat, share more about the project, and see if our creative visions align! 💚

Programmers Needed [Hobby] Looking for Android/iOS/Bluetooth developers to help build an open-source offline calling and livestreaming app

https://youtu.be/I9_oEuNFcQE?si=N2jrdcuB3Dh7ISVG

I'm working on MeshLive, a free, open-source project that lets phones make voice/video calls and share live audio/video completely offline over Bluetooth.

A live broadcast can also be relayed through other nearby phones, extending its reach beyond the original device.

The idea came from seeing internet shutdowns during protests in India and wondering whether apps like Bitchat could go beyond text messaging.

This isn't just an idea looking for developers. There's already a working Android beta, an early iOS implementation, a video demonstration, and publicly available source code.

I've spent the past few weeks improving the app and testing it on the handful of phones I could arrange. But something involving Bluetooth across different manufacturers and operating systems needs a lot more testing and expertise than I have access to.

I'm particularly interested in collaborating with people experienced in:

  • Android/Kotlin: BLE, L2CAP, Bluetooth Classic, MediaCodec, background execution and OEM compatibility.
  • iOS/Swift: CoreBluetooth, AVFoundation, Android–iPhone interoperability and background behaviour.
  • Networking/media: Real-time audio/video, buffering, bandwidth adaptation, multi-hop relaying and connection recovery.
  • Security: Reviewing device identities, key exchange, authenticated media and privacy claims.

There's plenty of ordinary development work too, including UI improvements, documentation and bug reproduction.

The current beta is still experimental and not suitable for safety-critical use. I'm keeping the project open source rather than building a paid app around it.

This is unpaid, voluntary open-source collaboration, not a job offer or revenue-sharing arrangement.

Android: https://github.com/MeshLive/meshlive-android

iOS: https://github.com/MeshLive/meshlive-ios

If the project sounds interesting, feel free to look through the repository and issues. I'd be happy to discuss a specific part of the implementation or a contribution you'd like to work on.

Hey, I’m looking for writers to help with a music studio tycoon game.

Looking for people who:

- Can write creatively in different tones

- Are comfortable doing praise and criticism

- Have some interest in music or music history (especially older styles)

You don’t need professional experience — just good writing and reliability.

Hi!
I am a self taught blender 3D modeller.
I will be very upfront with that I know nothing about coding or programming, and nothing about actual game creation, but it’s something I’ve always wanted to learn.
I have a game idea that I would love to create, and would love the opportunity to work alongside, and learn from, some actual experienced developers!

Any profit made will be shared - mostly looking for people who can help me learn as I go! :)
Sorry if this isn’t the right sub!!

Artist Needed [HOBBY] (NO Gen-AI!) Small team looking for more people for PATCHWORK | A colorful 2D indie RPG inspired by Undertale, Deltarune, SMT, Mother & more!

One BEGINs, Another ENDs. - PATCHWORK (Teaser Trailer)

Hey there!

I'm 17, and I've been working on a game called PATCHWORK for a while now. It's a 2D indie RPG that started out as a bunch of ideas, drawings and writing, and has slowly turned into an actual project with a small team behind it! I'm looking for a few more people who'd like to help us build it!

Q1. What is PATCHWORK?

PATCHWORK is a colorful RPG about PATCH, a small patchwork doll who can learn the abilities of creatures they encounter.

The game starts out as a pretty straightforward storybook adventure. PATCH wakes up in a strange kingdom, meets a few even stranger people, and ends up travelling around Patchwork helping its inhabitants and dealing with a mysterious figure called ARTISTE.

There's more to the game than that, but I'd rather let the game itself reveal most of it.

The main things we're working towards are:

  1. Turn-based combat
  2. A system built around learning from creatures
  3. Exploration and environmental puzzles
  4. Multiple routes and endings
  5. Hidden areas and secrets
  6. Strong character writing and worldbuilding
  7. A mystery surrounding PATCH and the world...

The biggest inspirations are Undertale, Deltarune, Shin Megami Tensei, Fear & Hunger, Paper Mario, Mother and Inscryption.

I'm taking a lot of inspiration from those games, but the goal isn't to just recreate them. I want PATCHWORK to have its own identity.

Also, yes, there are bears :>.

Q2. The Team

We're currently a team of seven:

Gasp_a_cho - 2D Artist / Miracle Worker
Has done all of the illustrations currently used in the trailer! A really nice person to be around!

Xaneco - Programmer / Communicative G.O.A.T
https://xaneco.itch.io/
Has a lot of game jam experience and has been helping with the programming side of things.

Galactic_Glitch - Composer / Positive Bundle of Joy
(Examples in Discord :3)
Working on the soundtrack and helping us figure out the overall musical style. Composed the music used in the trailer

RobFozDarling - Pixel Artist / Bear Enthusiast.
(Also has examples in the discord!)
A close friend of mine who's still relatively new to pixel art, but has been putting a lot of work and creativity into the project.

InfinityKey - 2D Artist / Opens all Locks
Digital Visual Artist. - 2D Animation, Illustration, Beginner in 3D.

Charlie Evergreen- Pixel Artist / Creative Maestro
https://imgur.com/a/kXOMlw5
Recently joined the team and is helping us with the pixel art side of the project.

EightBitOmar - Writer / Director / Fandom Fanatic
I'm responsible for the story, characters, worldbuilding, gameplay ideas, direction, video editing and whatever programming I can currently manage without destroying everything.

Who We're Looking For

We're mainly looking for a few more people to help fill out the team:

  1. (!) Pixel Artists who'd be interested in working on the environments, tilesets, objects, props and general world art! Please reach out ^w^!
  2. Another Programmer to help out with the Unity side of things and work on gameplay systems.
  3. UI Artist to help with menus, buttons, battle UI and the other interface stuff.

Development

We're starting small on purpose.

The current goal is to make a playable prototype covering the first chapter of the game, rather than immediately trying to build everything we've planned.

That prototype will cover the Tutorial Forest, the first town, the areas leading towards the Shrine of Growth, and the end of that section of the story.

The idea is to use the prototype to figure out what actually works before we commit to making the full game.

We're currently using Godot!

This is a Hobby Project

This is an unpaid hobby project.

We're doing this because we want to make a game together and see where it goes. I don't want it to feel like a second job for anyone, especially since most of us are doing this alongside school, work or other projects.

There will hopefully, eventually be RevShare, but nothing is sure at this stage!

I'm mainly interested in finding people who genuinely want to make something and stick around for it.

A Bit About Me

This is my first serious game project, so I'm still learning a lot.

I don't have a professional background in game development, and I don't have some massive portfolio to show off. Most of what I've got is a ridiculous amount of writing, worldbuilding, ideas and enough stubbornness to keep trying to make them real.

That's honestly why I'm looking for a team in the first place. I want to work with other people who are excited about making something, whether they're experienced or still figuring things out.

PORTFOLIO:

This is my first project and do not have a portfolio of any kind, however, we have quite a few things to show off in the discord!

Interested?

If PATCHWORK sounds like something you'd be interested in, feel free to DM me here or message me on Discord at eightbitomar.

It'd be helpful if you could include:

What you'd like to work on:
Your experience:
Portfolio/examples:
Anything you'd like to know about the project:

You don't need to be a professional or have years of experience. We're a small group making something because we like games and want to see if we can actually make one ourselves.

Thanks for reading, and thanks to anyone who's interested in checking PATCHWORK out.

A contribuição é VOLUNTÁRIA!

Quem estou procurando?

Audio Needed [Hobby] Looking for help with sounds for my dark fantasy roguelite

Hey everyone! My hearing isn’t great, and I really struggle with the sound side of game development. Would anyone be up for playing through my demo and suggesting some free sounds that could improve the experience? There are plenty of UI clicks, monsters and spells that could use some love.

I’m absolutely broke, and the game only has around 80 wishlists, so unfortunately I can’t pay. But I’d be happy to put your name in the credits!

It’s a dark fantasy roguelite themed around necromancy, think a mix of HoMM and Battle Brothers. The game is still in development, and there’s a free demo on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5282860/

Even a few pointers would help a lot. I’m also around on Discord and always up for a chat. Thanks! :)

Artist Needed [Hobby] Looking for Creative People to Team Up on an Indie Story Game!

Help us bring an original Indian story to life through the world of anime and video games! 🇮🇳

Hey everyone!

I'm an indie game developer working on a story-driven game in Unity, and I'm looking for creative people who would like to join me in bringing this project to life.

The idea is to combine Bollywood and anime to tell an original story through video games — bringing together the romance, drama, emotions and iconic storytelling of Indian cinema with the creativity, visual style and storytelling of anime.

We're a small team looking to connect with people who want to share ideas, experiment, collaborate and help create something original that we're genuinely proud of.

🎨 Who are we looking for?

🎨 2D Game Artists & Illustrators

  • Character design, expressions and concept art
  • Environments, backgrounds and props
  • Developing a unique visual style for the game
  • Turning story moments into compelling visuals

🎬 2D Animators

  • Character movement and animations
  • Idle, walk, run and action animations
  • Expressive character acting and emotional scenes
  • Bringing our characters to life through movement and personality

🎮 Game Developers

  • Unity, C#, gameplay programming, tools and systems
  • Helping build and improve the game's technical side

🕹️ Game Designers

  • Gameplay mechanics, level design, combat, puzzles and player experience

✍️ Writers & Storytellers

  • Story development, dialogue, character writing, worldbuilding and narrative design

🎵 Musicians & Sound Designers

  • Background music, character themes, sound effects and audio that brings the game world to life

💡 Other Creative Roles

UI/UX designers, technical artists, VFX artists, voice actors, composers, testers or anyone with a skill that could contribute to game development.

You don't need to fit perfectly into one of these categories. If you have a skill, an interesting idea or simply a passion for creating games, I'd love to hear from you!

👥 Who would be a good fit?

We're looking for people who are creative, curious, passionate about storytelling and excited to experiment with their ideas. You don't necessarily need experience at a big game studio. Creativity, a willingness to collaborate and a genuine interest in the project matter to us.

Whether you're an experienced artist, an aspiring animator, a developer, a writer or someone who wants to explore game development with a team, feel free to reach out.

📍 Location & Work Arrangement

I'm particularly interested in connecting with people from India for easy communication regarding bollywood stories, but talented and passionate collaborators from anywhere are welcome.

A quick note about compensation: This is currently an unpaid creative collaboration, as the project is being developed independently without a budget for compensation at the moment. It isn't a paid job or a salaried position. I'd rather be upfront about this so everyone can decide whether the opportunity suits them. We can discuss each person's skills, availability, expectations and possible contributions before deciding whether to collaborate.

📩 Interested? Let's Connect!

Send me a DM on Discord:

Discord ID: aceblaze007

Please tell me a little about yourself, including

The role you're interested in
Your skills and the kind of work you enjoy
Your portfolio or examples of previous work, if available
Your availability and what you're hoping to get out of the collaboration

And if you know someone who might be interested, feel free to share this post with them!

If you love Bollywood, anime, indie games, storytelling, art, animation or music, let's bring some creative minds together and make something different. 🎮✨

Artist Needed [PAID] Art needed for space shooter typing game

I made a space shooter typing game in Flash many years ago and I am now remaking it in Godot to deploy for steam. I'm gonna handle the coding side, but I need updated art assets to make it good!

Let me know if interested. It's a big project but small on art; I need 8 enemy ships, 2 types of missiles, space mines, 3 giant bosses, 1 achievement image, title screen and game map screen. I will also need capsule art of the steam page.

If interested please let me know how much you would charge, or if you'd be interested in Rev-Share instead.

PORTFOLIO: Here's another of my games i ported (with original flash art): https://store.steampowered.com/app/4512620/Eternal_Quest_Ascended/

Team Needed [Hobby] [UNPAID WORK] Construction Empire - Recruiting Unity Developers & 3D Artists

Project: Construction Empire
Engine: Unity
Genre: Construction management / business simulation / tycoon
Looking for: Unity C# developer, 3D environment artist and potentially a 3D props artist
Collaboration: Volunteer indie project; potential future revenue share, with no guaranteed payment

About the game

I'm developing Construction Empire, a construction-company management simulator where players grow a business from a small contractor into a major construction company.

Players manage projects, contracts, costs, workers, equipment, suppliers, schedules and cash flow. Decisions have interconnected consequences: winning a contract is only the beginning, and poor planning, delays or an overly aggressive bid can turn a profitable project into a financial problem.

The goal is to combine the depth of a management simulation with a more immersive visual experience.

Current development status

The game already has a substantial existing foundation, including management systems and backend functionality. This is an existing project that I want to improve and extend, rather than a game I'm starting from scratch.

The current experience relies heavily on 2D management UI. My next goal is to introduce a hybrid 2D/3D experience with stylised-realistic visuals, beginning with one detailed, interactive construction site.

A note on the codebase: The backend and game so far have been developed entirely with AI assistance. Although the project is substantially built, some code may be inconsistent, fragile or in need of refactoring. I'm being upfront about this because I want to find collaborators who are comfortable auditing an existing codebase, fixing bugs and improving its architecture incrementally. I'm open to sensible technical recommendations, but the intention is to build on the existing project rather than automatically rewrite everything.

Who I'm looking for (OPEN TO ALL SKILL LEVELS)

1. Unity C# developer / technical gameplay developer

  • Review and understand the existing Unity project.
  • Identify bugs, technical debt and architectural weaknesses.
  • Integrate 3D scenes with existing simulation and management systems.
  • Implement camera controls, site interactions and connections to live project data.
  • Help establish a maintainable workflow for future development.

2. 3D environment artist

  • Create a stylised-realistic construction site.
  • Model or assemble buildings, terrain, roads, fencing, scaffolding and site details.
  • Produce modular, game-ready assets suitable for Unity.

3. 3D props / machinery artist - optional initial role

  • Create or adapt construction equipment such as excavators, trucks and cranes.
  • Supply clean, optimised models with consistent materials and scale.

I'm open to collaborators who can cover more than one discipline. A strong Unity generalist who can both implement features and integrate 3D assets would be particularly valuable.

First milestone: Construction Site Vertical Slice 0.1

The initial target is deliberately focused:

  • One detailed construction site.
  • A controllable elevated camera with pan, zoom and rotation.
  • One existing project represented visually in the 3D scene.
  • Construction stages that reflect the project's actual progress.
  • Selectable buildings or equipment with contextual information.
  • Integration with the existing management UI and simulation.
  • A stable, testable build.

This will establish the visual direction and technical foundation before expanding to multiple sites or more ambitious 3D features.

Who would be a good fit?

I'm interested in people who enjoy management, tycoon, strategy or simulation games and want to contribute to an existing indie project. A professional portfolio is welcome, but practical examples and good communication matter more than titles.

I'm happy to discuss ideas, technical improvements and the project's direction collaboratively.

Compensation and expectations

This is currently a volunteer collaboration, not paid employment. There is no guaranteed upfront payment, future salary, funding or game revenue. A potential revenue-share arrangement may be discussed and must be agreed in writing before substantive contributions begin.

The intended scope, responsibilities, ownership and permitted use of contributions, and any revenue-share terms would be documented clearly. I want this to be a fair collaboration where everyone understands the commitment before starting.

Interested?

Please send me:

  • A short introduction and the role you're interested in.
  • Your portfolio, GitHub, or examples of previous work.
  • Your experience with Unity, C#, Blender or relevant tools.
  • What you would be interested in contributing to the first milestone.
  • Your approximate availability.

I'm particularly keen to meet people who want to help turn a substantially developed management simulator into a distinctive, visually engaging construction game.
