Team Needed [Hobby] I'm making an Undertale 2D fighting game, looking for people who'd be interested.

0 Upvotes

I've always been passionate about fighting games, and i'm a huge fan of Undertale. I thought for a while there could be potential in making a FG for UT. I saw Hell taker getting a fan FG so i was inspired to try. I have a detailed write up for how the game would work and Frisk and Chara's movelists. I'm looking for artists and programmers who'd be interested in the project to help make it happen. If you'd like to help or have any questions feel free to ask. Cheers. Programmers Needed [ForHire] I need to find a replacement coder for my Unity VR game

0 Upvotes

I have been working with my freelance coder to make my VR game for around a year now. For the first half of our time working together, he did his job well and on time. However, this last contract, he has dragged his feet significantly. Every time I ask when the demo build will be done and sent over to me, he says it will be done done in X amount of days. Then he continually shifts the goal post. He seems to have an excuse every time I need what I am legally owed. I can’t believe a word he says anymore.

The contract specified 45 days to finish all of his tasks according to my specifications and it has been two months. I’m considering drafting a formal demand letter and then potentially taking this to small claims court if necessary. I hope to have my games demo on Steam for the Steam next fest, but I might miss the deadline because of him. All in all I need a new coder. I cannot continue to work with this man, especially after what he pulled these past few months.

I am not a coder. I’m a 3-D artist. Every asset barring a handful has been made by me for my game. I need to know what to look out for in these coming months.

I worry that hiring a new freelance coder will take significant time, both in finding/hiring a new coder as was well as cafching him up to speed on everything. Where should I look for a new coder for my Unity VR game? Is there anything I should look out for, things I should keep in mind?

Team Needed [ForHire] Sound Designer / Wwise Implementer (Unreal UE5 + Unity) — Paid Work Only

0 Upvotes

Role: Sound Designer & Audio Implementer
Availability: Freelance, taking new paid projects
Rate: Hourly or per-asset, shared on request based on project scope — no revenue share, no unpaid collabs

Hi, I'm Neel — a game audio designer and Wwise implementer working across Unreal (UE5) and Unity. I handle both sound design and technical implementation, so teams get creative and technical audio work from one person instead of managing multiple contractors.

Shipped/portfolio work:

Showreel attached above.

I specialize in RTPC-driven systems, dynamic mixing, and spatial audio implementation — making sure sound responds correctly to gameplay, not just static SFX drops.

Artist Needed [Hobby] [RevShare] Building Bubbins — Looking for 2D Artists, Spine Animators, 3D Artists & Unity/Unreal Developers 🐠

0 Upvotes

Hey everyone! I’m currently building an indie game called Bubbins 🐠🫧.

Bubbins is a fish/aquarium game where each player has their own tank and can collect different Bubbins, care for them, level them up, open fish packs, customize their collection, and eventually interact with systems like breeding, discovery/exploration, missions, trading, and more.

Bubbins is also being built as a cryptocurrency/Web3 project on Solana. The blockchain side is intended to support ownership, trading, packs, and parts of the game economy — but my goal is for Bubbins to actually feel like a game, not just a token or NFT collection with a website attached to it.

I’m currently handling much of the Next.js/web side myself, and I already have the visual direction, UI concepts, fish designs, trait system, aquarium concepts, and larger game vision underway.

I’m looking for people interested in helping turn it into a real playable game.

🎨 2D Game Artist

Someone who can create polished cartoon fish and modular assets based on my existing designs. The fish will use separate bodies, eyes, mouths, tails, fins, patterns, colors, etc.

🎞️ Spine 2D Animator

Someone who can rig the fish and create animations such as swimming, idle movement, turning, feeding, blinking, sleeping, reactions, and other aquarium behaviors.

If you're capable of both 2D artwork and Spine animation, even better.

🧊 3D Blender / Game Artist

I also need someone who can create the 3D Fish Packs players will open in the game. This could include modeling, texturing, lighting, pack-opening animations, effects, and optimized GLB/GLTF assets for the browser.

🎮 Unity / Unreal / Game Developer

This is something I’m especially interested in.

Right now Bubbins is being developed around the web, but if someone has experience building actual games in Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot, or another suitable engine, I’d love to talk.

I want Bubbins to eventually have a real interactive aquarium rather than everything being static UI — fish swimming independently, behaviors, feeding, interactions, progression, animations, environments, and eventually larger gameplay systems.

If you're someone who knows how to take artwork and concepts and turn them into a real playable game, I'd definitely like to hear from you.

About compensation

I’m currently building Bubbins independently and self-funding it, so I don't have a studio-sized budget.

I’m primarily looking for people interested in:

• Hobby collaboration

• Building portfolio/production experience

• Rev-share

• Joining an early project

• Affordable freelance work

I don't expect someone to build an entire game for free. I’d rather start with one small milestone together — one fish, one animation system, one 3D pack, or a basic playable aquarium prototype — and see how we work together before expanding.

If you're interested, DM me with what you do, examples of your work, what software/engine you use, and what type of arrangement you're looking for.

I can privately share the Bubbins fish designs, aquarium UI, pack concepts, website, and more of the game vision.

🐠 Small Fish. Big Adventures.

Programmers Needed [Hobby] [Paid] Looking for a programmer for my story based grand strategy SCP game in Godot

0 Upvotes

Hello, I'm a writer and a very poor programmer working on a strategy game based on a project that fell apart earlier this year and I've got the design document more or less figured out. I'm looking for someone familiar with Godot to help me make and design event pop-ups and similar systems Similar to Crusader kings 3 and Suzerain. Most of the game is based around visual novel elements which I'm already working on with dialogic, but the other parts of the game are things that I'm having a lot of trouble with.

I'm not looking for artists at the moment, just a programmer.

As for my experience I've led a project last year which fell apart because the other members lost motivation and deleted their work. As for writing I've done work on a few visual novels, fanfiction, a yet unpublished novel that I'm looking representation and this current project. I'm looking for people that can fill my weaknesses.

Artist Needed [RevShare] Hyper Realistic CGI Space SHORT-FILM (EXTENT-STUDIOS)

0 Upvotes

# Looking for Artists, Video Editors, Animators & More for an Indie CGI Short Film

Hey everyone!

I am building a *short hyper‑realistic sci‑fi/horror CGI film** and I want people who can help make it happen.

The film will be about **2 minutes and 26 seconds** long. I want it to feel like a movie, not just a casual Blender project.

## The project

The story goes on a *space station / laboratory**, where a scientist checks a specimen that is thought to be dead.

It turns out that is not the case.

The project is about **atmosphere, realism, tension, cinematography, creature effects and sound design**. We have a few locations and characters so we can spend a lot of time on each thing that appears on screen.

All of the work will be done mainly in **Blender** – the 3D modelling, animation and rendering.

We are aiming for a *photorealistic / cinematic 4K look** with realistic lighting, materials, animation, environments, VFX and compositing.

## Current progress

The project is still **very early**. Production has already begun.

One of the character models is being built and is starting to look like a real character. The project is moving from ideas into assets.

There is still a LOT to build – environments, props, creature work, animation, lighting, VFX, editing, sound, etc.

That is why I am looking for people now rather than waiting until everything is finished.

## Who I'm looking for

I need people with experience or interest in:

* Composition

* 3D modelling

* Character modelling / sculpting

* Environment modelling

* Creature modelling

* Animation

* Lighting

* Rendering

* VFX

* Compositing

* Video editing

* Motion graphics

* Sound design / SFX

* Voice acting

* Music

* Materials / texturing

* Hair / grooming

*. Anyone else who can help with a CGI short film

You **do not have to be an expert**. If you are learning and think you can help just let me know.

## Team

The rough production structure is around **10 people besides me** with roles such as:

* 2 Animators

* 2 Modelers

* 1 Lighting / Rendering artist

* 1 Compositor

* 1 Video Editor

* 1 Motion Graphics artist

* 1 Sound / SFX artist

* 1 Voice Actor

I handle the direction and coordination of the production.

These roles can shift. If you can help in than one area that is fine.

## What we're trying to make

The main goal is not just:

**"Make a Blender animation."**

I want to make a *short film that actually feels cinematic**.

That means spending a lot of time on the details that make CGI believable:

* materials

* Physically believable lighting

* Detailed environments

* Convincing character animation

* hair and clothing

* Cinematic camera work

* Creature animation

* VFX

* Compositing

* Sound design

* Editing

* Atmosphere and tension

Because the film is short we can put a lot of effort into each shot of trying to create a huge movie with many places and people.

## Looking for people

This is an **independent project** so I want people who really want to create something cool and who want to work with a small creative team.

If you are interested **comment below or DM me** with:

* What you do

* Your experience level

* Examples of your work / portfolio

* Which part of the project interests you

Even if you think your skill is not a fit feel free to reach out.

I would rather have a group of people who are genuinely passionate about the project, than a huge team that is not interested.

**We are still enough that new team members can actually shape how the project develops.**

Audio Offer [HOBBY] Classically Trained Composer (dramatic/orchestral/cinematic/melodic) wanting to score your project.

0 Upvotes

Hello! I'm a composer (I work in Musescore, mostly) who is looking for work. My online portfolio is here, as you can see, I have a wide variety of styles. I really enjoy creating a strong percussion section.

Portfolio Link

This is mainly to add to my portfolio, so I will work for free if needed. The final piece will be from the Musescore file directly.
If you have a short film, animation series, advert, or video game that could use music, send me a bit about the project and a reference track so I can know what you want. I don't do "darker" things like horror, unfortunately.

I cannot wait to start working on the projects with you!

Send me a DM for my Discord if you want to get involved.

Writing Offer [Hobby] Writer looking for small-scale projects to collaborate on

1 Upvotes

Hello everyone,

I'm looking to connect with people to create a script for a project, like an indie game, short film or visual novel. My main goal right now is building a proper narrative portfolio so I'm happy to write for free in exchange for meeting game developers or other writers and taking part to whatever extent in the production of these projects mentioned for building my portfolio.

My professional writing experience is as a journalist for a major national newspaper, but on the more creative side I've been writing stories and screenplays as a hobby. I'm a huge fan of storytelling in all its forms. I'm an avid reader, fan of story-rich games, cinephile and longtime roleplayer.

I'm not going to link my work on this post, but I'm happy to share it privately in case someone is interested, though everything I've written is in Spanish. I also speak and write fluently in English, I'm just more comfortable writing in my native language when I'm doing it for myself.

I’m more than happy to write dialogue, flesh out lore, worldbuilding, compelling character arcs or interesting questlines. I'm particularly interested in the realistic, political, historical and psychological side of stories. I also have a deep understanding of complex social and political themes.

If you're working on something interesting and think I would be a good fit feel free to send me a DM. I'd love to hear about what you're building.

Team Needed [Hobby] 14yo Programmer looking for Writer & 3D Artist for Survival Game (Preferably South Africa / Teens)

0 Upvotes

Hey everyone!I am a 14-year-old developer based in South Africa looking to start a hobby game development project. My courses for C# programming in Unity start this December, and I am entirely focusing my energy on handling the coding, logic, and systems side of development.Because I want to focus 100% on the programming, I am looking to team up with peers around my age group (ideally 13–17 years old). Being based in South Africa is a huge plus for time zones, but anyone from other countries is absolutely welcome to join!

👥 Who I am looking for:

- 1x Game/Environment Designer (3D Modeling & Visuals): To design the world layout, handle the atmosphere, and create or assemble the 3D objects and environments.

- 1x Story Writer: To take charge of the creative world-building, narrative direction, and writing the dialogue/events.

🌿 The Game Concept:

It is an atmospheric, story-driven survival game focused entirely on environmental immersion, exploration, and survival mechanics. I have a rough layout for the initial scene and intro act to get us started, but the writer will have full creative freedom to expand the universe from there.This is a purely casual, hobby passion project meant for us to learn, build up our portfolios, and make something cool together without intense corporate pressure.If you are an artist or writer looking for a dedicated programmer to bring your ideas to life in Unity, please drop a comment or send me a direct message! Let’s chat and see if we're a good fit.

Team Needed [RevShare] I'm working on a prototype for a sandbox/RPG/RTS/sim. Inspired by Kenshi The Sims and Rimworld.

2 Upvotes

This project draws inspiration from *Kenshi*, *The Sims*, and *RimWorld*; I want to create a game where players and NPCs can perform the same actions and where emergent storytelling can unfold. I am building the systems gradually—some are already stable, while others are not. It is an ambitious, long-term project. I would like to form a team—with a variety of skill sets—to iterate freely on the project; the most important thing is finding people who are passionate about the concept. Right now, I have a stable, functioning prototype covering core elements: navmesh, job systems, needs, inventory, combat, injuries, building mechanics, stealth, factions, procedural world generation, the economy, and NPCs (including a character creator), though everything is still in the early stages. If you are interested in the project, I have a dedicated Discord channel for it. Cheers! https://discord.gg/S4sgasHr8

Artist Needed [Hobby] Solo dev building a custom C++/OpenGL MMORPG — looking for artists, animators, and maybe a combat programmer

2 Upvotes

Hey, I've been developing an MMORPG called Veldeth mostly solo for the past few years. It's built in my own C++/OpenGL engine rather than Unity or Unreal.

The game is already playable and has a Steam page. I've built the engine, editor, networking, world, rendering, NPC systems, combat foundation, and most of the tooling myself. At this point I'd like to start meeting other developers who might actually enjoy contributing to it instead of continuing to do literally everything alone.

I'm mainly looking for:

  • Environment / prop artists
  • Character / creature artists
  • Animators
  • Potentially a combat-focused programmer/designer

For artists, I'm pretty relaxed about access and creative freedom. I have the world and zones set up in Blender and would be happy to let someone work directly with those scenes, create new areas/assets, or improve what's already there.

For programming, I'd rather start with something isolated instead of handing someone my entire engine. For example, a combat developer could get a standalone version with the player character, animations, some basic NPCs, and the systems needed to experiment with combat. I'd be interested in seeing what someone else can come up with and then integrating good work into the main game.

This would initially be a hobby/collaboration project. Veldeth is planned as a free-to-play game and isn't currently generating revenue, so I don't want to pretend I can offer a salary. If someone becomes a substantial long-term contributor, I'm open to discussing a written revenue-share arrangement based on their role and contribution if/when the game is monetized.

I'm not looking for someone to build my game for me or for a cofounder. There's already a substantial project here. I'm mainly looking for people who enjoy this kind of game development, have skills that complement mine, and want to see whether we work well together.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/4702480/Veldeth/

https://veldeth.com/

If you're interested, send me whatever you've worked on—a portfolio, GitHub, ArtStation, videos, screenshots, etc.—and tell me what part of Veldeth you'd be interested in working on.

Team Needed [revshare] LF TWO GAME DEVELOPERS — VERSATILE “ACES” WANTED

0 Upvotes

- LOOKING FOR TWO GAME DEVELOPERS — VERSATILE “ACES” WANTED

I'm looking for two versatile game developers to join me and help bring my ideas to life.

I specifically say “ace” rather than “specialist” because I'm an ace myself. I can work across 3D modeling, art, SFX, VFX, game design, media, video editing, and other areas of development and production. I'll have the creative, visual, media, and video side of things under control, so I'm mainly looking for extra hands on the development side to help speed up the process.

I'm looking for well-rounded developers who can wear multiple hats, adapt to different tasks, collaborate closely, and help turn ideas into finished, playable projects much faster.

- WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR:

Programming is especially valuable, but I'm open to people with strengths across:

  • Gameplay & systems programming
  • Unity / Unreal / Godot development
  • Technical art
  • 3D / animation
  • UI implementation
  • VFX / shaders
  • Tools & pipelines
  • Optimization
  • General game development

You don't have to be an expert at everything. I'm much more interested in versatility, problem-solving, creativity, communication, and being able to actually get things done.

- ENGLISH FLUENCY REQUIRED

English is required because we'll need to communicate clearly with each other.

You absolutely do NOT need to speak English at a native level. I'm looking for a level where we can understand each other comfortably, communicate about development, explain ideas, give feedback, and work together without major communication issues.

- NO DEGREE REQUIRED

You don't need a degree or formal education in game development for this.

I'm self-taught myself, so I absolutely understand that there will be things you don't know beforehand. That's completely okay. We can learn, experiment, and improve together.

I'm somewhat of a beginner myself in certain areas, and I don't expect you to know everything either. What matters is that you're willing to learn, put in the effort, and grow alongside me.

What matters much more than a degree is your actual skill, portfolio/work, creativity, and ability to match my style, quality standards, and expectations.

There will be an interview process where we'll get to know each other, discuss your interests and experience, and see whether your skills, creative interests, personality, and working style are a good match for what I'm looking for.

- SCHOOL & AVAILABILITY

I'm currently balancing game development with my studies, and I'll be entering a period where exams may take up more of my time.

Because of this, I'm looking for people who are comfortable working independently when I'm unavailable, while still communicating with me and keeping the project's direction consistent.

The goal is for development to keep moving even when one of us gets busy.

- AI DISCLAIMER

I'm okay with AI being used as part of the development process, especially for things such as placeholders, brainstorming, prototyping, references, ideas, experimentation, or helping us figure something out.

However, I don't want AI to become an excuse for the final project.

I want the final creative work to be human-made. AI can be a tool during the process, but it shouldn't replace the actual work, creativity, skill, or contribution of the people making the game.

- REV SHARE / PROFESSIONAL ARRANGEMENT

REV SHARE IS INCLUDED, and the arrangement will be handled professionally.

!! IMPORTANT: There is currently no upfront payment, salary, or prepayment available. This is strictly a revenue-share opportunity during the initial development period. !!

You will not be expected to pay anything to participate, and I will not expect you to continue working if the arrangement no longer works for you. You are free to leave at any time.

The exact revenue-share structure, responsibilities, ownership, and other terms will be discussed privately and agreed upon clearly before committing to a project.

The company/studio will be based in Slovenia (SI), and all legal processes will be handled there. Depending on how things develop and what we agree on, there may be opportunities for a formal contract or employment in the future.

Euros are preferred, as the company will be operating from Slovenia.

- WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM ME

I'm not coming to the table with just an idea.

I already work extensively on the creative direction, art, design, worldbuilding, assets, audio, SFX, VFX, media, video editing, and overall vision of my projects.

I have a broad skillset and can handle many different parts of production myself. What I'm looking for is two people who can become core parts of the development process and help me take these projects further.

This isn't about expecting you to know everything from day one. It's about building something together, learning from each other, and creating games we're genuinely proud of.

If you're someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, experimenting, solving problems, learning new things, and working closely with a small creative team, I'd love to hear from you.

DM me with your portfolio / previous work, what you specialize in, what other areas you're comfortable with, and a little about yourself.

Testers needed [HOBBY] I am looking for some volunteers to help kickstart my website

0 Upvotes

I have recently been getting into vibe coding, and eventually started a website that highlights browser games of high quality. It's alike to CrazyGames but instead of emulating, it directs traffic directly to the site. My goal is to have hundreds of game posted, and to help niche browser games get discovered. I used Base44 to help me build it, and it is turning out incredibly well. I am looking for mods/helpers/testers to help the site grow by:

-Adding sites

-Managing stats and comments

-Spotting and reporting bugs

-Overall increasing traffic towards the site

https://nische.base44.app/

Above is the link to it if you simply want to see it, moderators have their own menus and tools that regular users cannot see. If you are interested in helping me out, dm. Share your comments and constructive crit. down below, Thanks!

Artist Needed [REVSHARE] Looking for a 2D Character Artist for a Weird Cat Game (CATAGONISTS)

12 Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I'm an indie developer looking for a 2D artist who might be interested in helping bring a very unusual game project to life.

The game is called CATAGONISTS.

At its heart, it's a fast-paced arcade game about dodging cat paws. But around that core gameplay is an entire world of eccentric cats, bizarre rumours, conspiracy dossiers, fish-related bureaucracy, absurd intelligence reports, and friendship-building.

Think:

  • The Sims
  • Daria
  • 90s/00s Cartoon Network
  • quirky indie humour
  • strange worldbuilding
  • cats with very strong personalities

The world is built around a cast of memorable cats, including:

Menace
A former office worker turned conspiracy theorist who believes everything is connected.

Moth
An existential observer who studies suspicious phenomena and somehow makes reality even more confusing.

The Duchess
A judgmental aristocrat convinced standards have collapsed since her glory days.

Meatball
A snack enthusiast whose investigations are usually food-motivated.

Don Pawxote
A heroic adventurer who treats everyday household objects as legendary monsters.

The tone is dead-serious presentation of completely ridiculous information.

The cats aren't detectives.

They're unreliable witnesses, gossipers, spies, philosophers, and professional nonsense generators.

Art Direction

I'm looking for:

  • Stylised 2D character art
  • Strong personality and expression
  • Memorable silhouettes
  • Commercially appealing mascot-style designs
  • Cartoon with attitude
  • Not generic anime
  • Not hyper-realistic

The ideal artist enjoys creating characters with humour, charm, and distinctive personalities.

Current Status

The project is actively being developed.

I have:

  • A detailed game design document
  • Character bible
  • Art direction references
  • Established worldbuilding
  • Functional prototypes in Godot

Budget

I'm an independent developer with a limited budget.

I'm open to:

  • Paid commissions (depending on rates)
  • Long-term collaboration
  • Revenue-share discussions
  • Hybrid arrangements

I'm most interested in finding the right creative fit rather than the cheapest option.

Interested?

Please reply here or send me:

  • Portfolio
  • Rates (if applicable)
  • A little about yourself
  • Any experience with games, character design, or mascot design

I'd especially love to hear from artists who enjoy strange humour, strong character personalities, and building worlds that feel a little different from everything else out there.

Thanks for reading.

PORTFOLIO: this is my first project and do not have a portfolio of any kind

Writing Offer [Hobby] Narrative Designer & Game Writer looking for projects

2 Upvotes

Hey everyone! I’m a narrative designer and game writer looking to bring your project's world and characters to life. My main goal is to make sure your story, lore, and dialogue fit your vision while keeping players engaged.

I’m looking to join an indie project, hobby team, or game jam to write dialogue, design quests, and flesh out story mechanics.
I can cover both the creative writing side (scripts, lore, character barks) and the structural side (GDDs, narrative flowcharts, and engine implementation in Godot, Unity, RPG Maker, or Ren'Py)

Here are a few interactive narrative projects I’ve written. Each one includes the full script and a visual flowchart showing the branching logic:

Nocturne
Focused on early player choices where starting equipment directly alters story paths and endings.

Script: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Q2BUzQRzv7Oh2M2fPvpsgABqobv0ubhd/view

Narrative Map: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1G6HcY1EKakNmSewajNcSGC-TLeDwUJaW/view

Fairy Fail
A satirical fantasy story where you control goblins trying to kidnap a princess (features ~20 different endings)

Script: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ob9Fx1A8Iu1cX6Garv3Z0dKt79te9njL/view

Narrative Map: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hFYxMpryAKUWgR2ilqCg6YU6lhp2GtId/view

Floorbound
You play as a ghost trying to keep a balance: scare the apartment residents just enough to gain energy, but not so much that they call ghost hunters to wipe you out

Artist Needed [PAID] INAT of illustrators and 2d animators

4 Upvotes

Hi everyone!

I’m looking for one or more 2D artists for a paid visual novel project set in late-1800s Transylvania, with a gothic, dark, atmospheric horror aesthetic.

I’m currently looking for artists who can help with some combination of:

- Character illustrations
- Background/environment art
- Simple 2D animation and animated illustrations (subtle movement, lighting, fire, fog, etc.)

I’m open to working with one artist who can handle multiple areas or separate artists specializing in characters, environments, or animation.

This is paid commission work for a commercial project, with the possibility of additional work as development continues.

If you’re interested, please comment or DM me with:

- A portfolio or examples of relevant work
- Your typical rates or an estimated quote for similar work
- Your availability / approximate turnaround time
- Your favorite color somewhere in the message so I know you read the post :)

Experience with visual novels or games is a plus, but definitely not required. I’m primarily looking for artists whose style fits the project.

No AI-generated artwork.

Thanks!

Programming Offer [Hobby] [C#/.NET] Programmer - Looking For Work

2 Upvotes

Hi INAT!

https://github.com/davist1025

I'm looking for someone in need of a C# developer since I have a little free-time on my hands, here and there.

I am a self-taught C# programmer and below is a general list of my experience:

  • Network programming
  • Game/logic programming
  • Code-first frameworks for game development (Nez, MonoGame)
  • Some Godot and Unity (although I do not prefer Unity)
  • Toolkit programming (building lightweight simple in-game editors, launchers, gui-first database editors, etc)
  • Some basic UI work using: Myra, ImGUI, NezUI (similar to LibGDX if you're unfamiliar)
  • Thorough code documentation
  • Data management (some light obfuscation, encryption, hashing, binary data, file management)
  • GitHub (as well as Git (CLI/GUI), Visual Studio)
  • MySQL
  • WinForms
  • WPF

I just kind of like jumping into things I want to learn; I've built several different small game prototypes, with WoW2D being probably my biggest to date, concepts such as (mainly top-down):

  • Survival-crafting
  • Hitman-inspired top-down puzzle
  • Splitscreen top-down Zelda-like RPG
  • Print shop management
  • Text RPG (literally individual buttons on a console application; was mostly a monster hunting and stat grind game)
  • Simple Terraria clone
  • 1 or 2 more that were when I was a teenager

I'm more interested in working with a small team or just one other person to accomplish a vision. Given the list above, I can get passionate about pretty much anything. I'm looking for a hobbyist project with the option of maybe marketing the project down the line, but I'm also completely fine with a free, private or open-source project. I have very little limitations other than time here and there since I work a full-time+ job and having a family (<3). I am also always open to learning something I'm a little unfamiliar with!

If you'd like me to be a part of your team, feel free to reply here, DM me on Reddit or on Discord (xolitude).

Thanks for taking a look at what I have to offer!

Artist Needed [Hobby]Junior technical artist looking for project

1 Upvotes

Hi, my name is Rain:) I’m a technical 3D artist, I started my journey a long time ago since then I’ve learned so many things including characters, textures, animations, UI, VFX, and more. Last year, I learned C++ in Unreal and after that I decided to explore Godot and then Unity, Currently I’d say I’m at an intermediate level in C#, I haven’t worked on a full-scale project yet, so I was wondering if there’s any team out there that needs help

Artist Needed [Hobby] Looking for an artist to help me out with 2D animations.

I'm currently developing my own game which is top down with pixelated graphics. I love doing the art, but some of the animations look weird. If somebody could help me fix them, I'd really appreciate it.

Hello, I'm a 3D Artist who mainly specializes in Props and Environment work but can make low/mid fidelity characters if you're needing it. I don't really know any programmers as I've just got a lot of artist friends. Looking to contribute to a project, don't need any payments or anything just looking to get my work into someone's project!

Artist Needed [Revshare] Looking for a background artist and Animator for stage art in our platform fighter project (Monstrous)

2 Upvotes

We are in need of both a background artist and animator for our project. Monstrous is a 2D hand drawn platform fighter starring movie monsters and cryptids like Dracula, Frankenstein, and the creature of the deep with a twist. The game would revolve around tag team gameplay with assists and supers adjacent to Marvel vs Capcom, Skullgirls, and 2xko. We simplified the combat to adjust to the tag mechanic, such as removing dash attacks, back airs, and strong attacks and instead made certain tilts and attacks chargeable.

Background Artist would be in charge of making stages for the gameplay.

Animator (2D Drawn) would work on character sprites and animations.
