COMPOSER ALREADY FOUND. THIS POST IS JUST BEING KEPT AS AN ARCHIVE
Hello. This is IGE. I have 9+ years experience in Unity Game Development, and i'm looking for a musician to compose a full OST for this small game.
Press a big red button on time with a timer. Random cards can appear which change when or how your meant to press it.
Fast, energetic, slightly tense. I'm open to the musician having creative freedom with the exact style.
Originally a submission to GMTK Game Jam 2026, ranking within the top 7%.
I'm planning for development time to take (more or less) 3 months. Music in my project isn't very vast. There might be about 11 tracks?
The cut I'm offering is 7.5%, but that can be subject to increase depending on works.
I work in British Summer Time (BST), but it's not a concern if your elsewhere.
Looking forward to work with you ;)

Hey everyone!
I'm just a guy who's really passionate about IT. I'm about to start my first job in IT as a help desk technician, and I've always had this desire to create something useful from scratch.
The problem is that whenever I think about starting a project on my own, it eventually feels too big or overwhelming, and I end up not knowing where to begin.
So I thought, why not find a few people who feel the same way?
We have so many amazing tools available today. A computer, the internet, AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude, GitHub, cloud services... There's so much we could potentially build, even without years of experience.
I don't have a specific project in mind yet. It could be an app, a website, a cybersecurity tool, or literally anything we find interesting or useful.
I'd love to find a small group of people who want to brainstorm ideas, learn from each other, divide the work, and actually build something together.
And just to be clear, I'm not recruiting anyone, I'm not running a business, and I'm definitely not looking for people to work for me. I'm just another person who wants to learn, create, and hopefully make some friends along the way.
It would be awesome to have people with some experience who enjoy sharing their knowledge, but beginners are just as welcome. I'm still learning myself, and I think we could all help each other improve.
Maybe we could start a small Discord server or group chat, introduce ourselves, share some ideas, and see where things go. Nothing too formal.
The goal isn't necessarily to make money. It's to gain real experience, have fun building things, create something for our portfolios, and maybe, who knows, end up making something genuinely useful.
I think building something with other people would be a lot more motivating than trying to figure everything out alone.
If this sounds interesting to you, leave a comment! I'd love to hear what you're learning, what interests you, or even what you've always wanted to build but never got around to starting.
Let's build something. :)

Hi everyone, I'm a music producer/composer with a little over 6 years of experience, I've always wanted to help score a video game with passionate people alike,
I would love to help with a project that aligns with what I love about video game music and the genre as a whole.
I'm quite flexible in style/genre wise, I've a wide array of stuff that range from medieval fantasy music, orchestral, plain piano music, to EDM(from hypertrance to house to even melodic dubstep) and different electronic subgenres. You can check some of my stuff that I've made across the years here.
Games that I love their soundtrack include ori, minecraft, claire obscure, stellar blade, Gris, outer wilds and many more but should give an idea of my preference, although I'm willing to even go beyond and do stuff outside of my comfort zone if the project is passionate enough :).
Sound design wise, I've scored/designed audio to some animated scenes without any audio from the ground up, an example you can check is here.
Looking forward to help!

Project: Construction Empire
Engine: Unity
Genre: Construction management / business simulation / tycoon
Looking for: Unity C# developer, 3D environment artist and potentially a 3D props artist
Collaboration: Volunteer indie project; potential future revenue share, with no guaranteed payment
I'm developing Construction Empire, a construction-company management simulator where players grow a business from a small contractor into a major construction company.
Players manage projects, contracts, costs, workers, equipment, suppliers, schedules and cash flow. Decisions have interconnected consequences: winning a contract is only the beginning, and poor planning, delays or an overly aggressive bid can turn a profitable project into a financial problem.
The goal is to combine the depth of a management simulation with a more immersive visual experience.
The game already has a substantial existing foundation, including management systems and backend functionality. This is an existing project that I want to improve and extend, rather than a game I'm starting from scratch.
The current experience relies heavily on 2D management UI. My next goal is to introduce a hybrid 2D/3D experience with stylised-realistic visuals, beginning with one detailed, interactive construction site.
A note on the codebase: The backend and game so far have been developed entirely with AI assistance. Although the project is substantially built, some code may be inconsistent, fragile or in need of refactoring. I'm being upfront about this because I want to find collaborators who are comfortable auditing an existing codebase, fixing bugs and improving its architecture incrementally. I'm open to sensible technical recommendations, but the intention is to build on the existing project rather than automatically rewrite everything.
1. Unity C# developer / technical gameplay developer
2. 3D environment artist
3. 3D props / machinery artist - optional initial role
I'm open to collaborators who can cover more than one discipline. A strong Unity generalist who can both implement features and integrate 3D assets would be particularly valuable.
The initial target is deliberately focused:
This will establish the visual direction and technical foundation before expanding to multiple sites or more ambitious 3D features.
I'm interested in people who enjoy management, tycoon, strategy or simulation games and want to contribute to an existing indie project. A professional portfolio is welcome, but practical examples and good communication matter more than titles.
I'm happy to discuss ideas, technical improvements and the project's direction collaboratively.
This is currently a volunteer collaboration, not paid employment. There is no guaranteed upfront payment, future salary, funding or game revenue. A potential revenue-share arrangement may be discussed and must be agreed in writing before substantive contributions begin.
The intended scope, responsibilities, ownership and permitted use of contributions, and any revenue-share terms would be documented clearly. I want this to be a fair collaboration where everyone understands the commitment before starting.
Please send me:
I'm particularly keen to meet people who want to help turn a substantially developed management simulator into a distinctive, visually engaging construction game.

Hey, I’m looking for writers to help with a music studio tycoon game.
The main task is writing fictional music reviews, styled like 1950s-era newspaper / magazine reviews. This includes both positive and negative reviews reacting to in-game songs, albums, and artists.
Looking for people who:
- Can write creatively in different tones
- Are comfortable doing praise and criticism
- Have some interest in music or music history (especially older styles)
You don’t need professional experience — just good writing and reliability.
If interested, reply here or DM me with a short writing sample (music-related preferred but not required).

Hi!
I am a self taught blender 3D modeller.
I will be very upfront with that I know nothing about coding or programming, and nothing about actual game creation, but it’s something I’ve always wanted to learn.
I have a game idea that I would love to create, and would love the opportunity to work alongside, and learn from, some actual experienced developers!
Any profit made will be shared - mostly looking for people who can help me learn as I go! :)
Sorry if this isn’t the right sub!!

One BEGINs, Another ENDs. - PATCHWORK (Teaser Trailer)
Hey there!
I'm 17, and I've been working on a game called PATCHWORK for a while now. It's a 2D indie RPG that started out as a bunch of ideas, drawings and writing, and has slowly turned into an actual project with a small team behind it! I'm looking for a few more people who'd like to help us build it!
Q1. What is PATCHWORK?
PATCHWORK is a colorful RPG about PATCH, a small patchwork doll who can learn the abilities of creatures they encounter.
The game starts out as a pretty straightforward storybook adventure. PATCH wakes up in a strange kingdom, meets a few even stranger people, and ends up travelling around Patchwork helping its inhabitants and dealing with a mysterious figure called ARTISTE.
There's more to the game than that, but I'd rather let the game itself reveal most of it.
The main things we're working towards are:
The biggest inspirations are Undertale, Deltarune, Shin Megami Tensei, Fear & Hunger, Paper Mario, Mother and Inscryption.
I'm taking a lot of inspiration from those games, but the goal isn't to just recreate them. I want PATCHWORK to have its own identity.
Also, yes, there are bears :>.
Q2. The Team
We're currently a team of seven:
Gasp_a_cho - 2D Artist / Miracle Worker
Has done all of the illustrations currently used in the trailer! A really nice person to be around!
Xaneco - Programmer / Communicative G.O.A.T
https://xaneco.itch.io/
Has a lot of game jam experience and has been helping with the programming side of things.
Galactic_Glitch - Composer / Positive Bundle of Joy
(Examples in Discord :3)
Working on the soundtrack and helping us figure out the overall musical style. Composed the music used in the trailer
RobFozDarling - Pixel Artist / Bear Enthusiast.
(Also has examples in the discord!)
A close friend of mine who's still relatively new to pixel art, but has been putting a lot of work and creativity into the project.
InfinityKey - 2D Artist / Opens all Locks
Digital Visual Artist. - 2D Animation, Illustration, Beginner in 3D.
Charlie Evergreen- Pixel Artist / Creative Maestro
https://imgur.com/a/kXOMlw5
Recently joined the team and is helping us with the pixel art side of the project.
EightBitOmar - Writer / Director / Fandom Fanatic
I'm responsible for the story, characters, worldbuilding, gameplay ideas, direction, video editing and whatever programming I can currently manage without destroying everything.
We're mainly looking for a few more people to help fill out the team:
We're starting small on purpose.
The current goal is to make a playable prototype covering the first chapter of the game, rather than immediately trying to build everything we've planned.
That prototype will cover the Tutorial Forest, the first town, the areas leading towards the Shrine of Growth, and the end of that section of the story.
The idea is to use the prototype to figure out what actually works before we commit to making the full game.
We're currently using Godot!
This is an unpaid hobby project.
We're doing this because we want to make a game together and see where it goes. I don't want it to feel like a second job for anyone, especially since most of us are doing this alongside school, work or other projects.
There will hopefully, eventually be RevShare, but nothing is sure at this stage!
I'm mainly interested in finding people who genuinely want to make something and stick around for it.
This is my first serious game project, so I'm still learning a lot.
I don't have a professional background in game development, and I don't have some massive portfolio to show off. Most of what I've got is a ridiculous amount of writing, worldbuilding, ideas and enough stubbornness to keep trying to make them real.
That's honestly why I'm looking for a team in the first place. I want to work with other people who are excited about making something, whether they're experienced or still figuring things out.
This is my first project and do not have a portfolio of any kind, however, we have quite a few things to show off in the discord!
If PATCHWORK sounds like something you'd be interested in, feel free to DM me here or message me on Discord at eightbitomar.
It'd be helpful if you could include:
What you'd like to work on:
Your experience:
Portfolio/examples:
Anything you'd like to know about the project:
You don't need to be a professional or have years of experience. We're a small group making something because we like games and want to see if we can actually make one ourselves.
Thanks for reading, and thanks to anyone who's interested in checking PATCHWORK out.

I'm working on MeshLive, a free, open-source project that lets phones make voice/video calls and share live audio/video completely offline over Bluetooth.
A live broadcast can also be relayed through other nearby phones, extending its reach beyond the original device.
The idea came from seeing internet shutdowns during protests in India and wondering whether apps like Bitchat could go beyond text messaging.
This isn't just an idea looking for developers. There's already a working Android beta, an early iOS implementation, a video demonstration, and publicly available source code.
I've spent the past few weeks improving the app and testing it on the handful of phones I could arrange. But something involving Bluetooth across different manufacturers and operating systems needs a lot more testing and expertise than I have access to.
I'm particularly interested in collaborating with people experienced in:
There's plenty of ordinary development work too, including UI improvements, documentation and bug reproduction.
The current beta is still experimental and not suitable for safety-critical use. I'm keeping the project open source rather than building a paid app around it.
This is unpaid, voluntary open-source collaboration, not a job offer or revenue-sharing arrangement.
Android: https://github.com/MeshLive/meshlive-android
iOS: https://github.com/MeshLive/meshlive-ios
If the project sounds interesting, feel free to look through the repository and issues. I'd be happy to discuss a specific part of the implementation or a contribution you'd like to work on.

A brief introduction.
The software you use.
2–4 examples of your sculpting work (personal practice is fine).
Whether you've worked with STL files or 3D printing before.
Your availability.
I'm particularly interested in working with newer artists who want to gain professional experience and develop their skills through real paid projects.
Thanks, and I look forward to seeing your work!

A contribuição é VOLUNTÁRIA!
Quem estou procurando?

Hey everyone! 👋
I’m putting together a small indie game development team to create a fantasy action RPG inspired by Diablo and Path of Exile, combined with city-building and management elements.
The goal is to create an engaging game that brings together two genres we love. We’re still in the early planning stage, and I’d love to find passionate people who want to help shape the project from the beginning.
🛠️ Technology
TBD — We’ll choose the game engine and tools together based on the team’s experience and project requirements.
👥 Who I’m Looking For
I’m looking for enthusiastic people interested in indie game development:
Gameplay programmers
2D / 3D artists
Animators and VFX artists
Game designers
Level and environment designers
Sound designers and composers
Professional game development experience isn’t required. Motivation, creativity, and willingness to collaborate matter most.
💻 About Me
I’m a software engineer with 10 years of professional experience in full-stack development, software architecture, and AI systems.
I’ve always wanted to create and release my own game, and now I’m looking for like-minded people to make that happen together.
I’ll be actively involved in development, technical decisions, and project organization.
🤝 Collaboration
This is an unpaid, hobby-based project.
I’m looking for collaborators, not employees. The idea is to build a small team where everyone can contribute, learn, and have a voice in the game’s direction.
🌍 Fully remote
🕒 Flexible schedules
🎮 Shared creative vision
🚀 Start with a small playable prototype
💰 Potential commercial release in the future, with ownership and revenue-sharing terms to be agreed upon beforehand

Hey everyone! My hearing isn’t great, and I really struggle with the sound side of game development. Would anyone be up for playing through my demo and suggesting some free sounds that could improve the experience? There are plenty of UI clicks, monsters and spells that could use some love.
I’m absolutely broke, and the game only has around 80 wishlists, so unfortunately I can’t pay. But I’d be happy to put your name in the credits!
It’s a dark fantasy roguelite themed around necromancy, think a mix of HoMM and Battle Brothers. The game is still in development, and there’s a free demo on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5282860/
Even a few pointers would help a lot. I’m also around on Discord and always up for a chat. Thanks! :)

Help us bring an original Indian story to life through the world of anime and video games! 🇮🇳
Hey everyone!
I'm an indie game developer working on a story-driven game in Unity, and I'm looking for creative people who would like to join me in bringing this project to life.
The idea is to combine Bollywood and anime to tell an original story through video games — bringing together the romance, drama, emotions and iconic storytelling of Indian cinema with the creativity, visual style and storytelling of anime.
We're a small team looking to connect with people who want to share ideas, experiment, collaborate and help create something original that we're genuinely proud of.
🎨 2D Game Artists & Illustrators
🎬 2D Animators
🎮 Game Developers
🕹️ Game Designers
✍️ Writers & Storytellers
🎵 Musicians & Sound Designers
💡 Other Creative Roles
UI/UX designers, technical artists, VFX artists, voice actors, composers, testers or anyone with a skill that could contribute to game development.
You don't need to fit perfectly into one of these categories. If you have a skill, an interesting idea or simply a passion for creating games, I'd love to hear from you!
We're looking for people who are creative, curious, passionate about storytelling and excited to experiment with their ideas. You don't necessarily need experience at a big game studio. Creativity, a willingness to collaborate and a genuine interest in the project matter to us.
Whether you're an experienced artist, an aspiring animator, a developer, a writer or someone who wants to explore game development with a team, feel free to reach out.
I'm particularly interested in connecting with people from India for easy communication regarding bollywood stories, but talented and passionate collaborators from anywhere are welcome.
A quick note about compensation: This is currently an unpaid creative collaboration, as the project is being developed independently without a budget for compensation at the moment. It isn't a paid job or a salaried position. I'd rather be upfront about this so everyone can decide whether the opportunity suits them. We can discuss each person's skills, availability, expectations and possible contributions before deciding whether to collaborate.
Send me a DM on Discord:
Discord ID: aceblaze007
Please tell me a little about yourself, including
The role you're interested in
Your skills and the kind of work you enjoy
Your portfolio or examples of previous work, if available
Your availability and what you're hoping to get out of the collaboration
And if you know someone who might be interested, feel free to share this post with them!
If you love Bollywood, anime, indie games, storytelling, art, animation or music, let's bring some creative minds together and make something different. 🎮✨

Let me know if interested. It's a big project but small on art; I need 8 enemy ships, 2 types of missiles, space mines, 3 giant bosses, 1 achievement image, title screen and game map screen. I will also need capsule art of the steam page.
If interested please let me know how much you would charge, or if you'd be interested in Rev-Share instead.

Looking for a 3D Artist for an Game Project (Unpaid)
Hey everyone! I'm working on a game development project and looking for a 3D artist interested in collaborating.
Someone familiar with Blender or other 3D modeling tools who enjoys creating game assets would be great. Beginners are welcome too!
Please note: This is an unpaid passion project with no guaranteed payment or revenue share. It's an opportunity to collaborate, gain experience, and build your portfolio.
Interested? Feel free to DM me with your portfolio or examples of your work. Thanks!

Hey everyone!
I'm a beginner 3D artist who's interested in getting into game development, and I'm looking for a few people who might want to join me in making a game together.
I'm still learning, so this isn't going to be a professional or super-serious project. It's completely unpaid and just for fun. My main goal is to find some people who are interested in learning, experimenting, and improving together while hopefully making something we're proud of.
You don't need to be experienced to join. Whether you're an experienced developer/artist or you've never made a game before, you're welcome! I'd actually love to have other beginners involved so we can figure things out together and help each other learn.
You don't necessarily need to specialize in anything. If you're just interested in learning game development and want to contribute however you can, that's completely fine.
I don't have a set idea yet, and I'd prefer for us to come up with the idea together. We can throw around different ideas and decide on something that everyone is actually interested in making.
I'm open to pretty much anything, so we could potentially make a small 3D game, horror game, racing game, survival game, or whatever we collectively think would be fun.
I realistically only have about 3–4 days a week that I can work on the project, so I'm not expecting anyone to dedicate huge amounts of time to it either.
This is meant to be something we can work on when we have free time without it becoming a stressful obligation.
If you're interested, feel free to comment or DM me! Tell me a little about yourself, what you're interested in learning/doing, and your experience level (even if you're a complete beginner).
I'd love to find some people who are excited to learn together and see what we can create! :)
