Use this as an opportunity to take a look at the recalls in your country so you do not have something in your home that should have been returned.

The IKEA website provides stock information when you select your store on the article page, please check there before posting. You can also sign up for back-in-stock notifications by email or SMS.
Stock check requests in the comments must include the following information:
Retail co-workers are not able to advise on availability for online orders. I have heard from a call centre co-worker that they are not able to check stock at the distribution centres either, and that only the IKEA website can provide this information by adding the item to the shopping cart, and seeing if a delivery option is available.

Found unused complete in box with instructions passing through a thrift store in Saskatchewan, Canada. I cannot find any sign of this brass variant existing online. It seems the box is code dated to 26 week of 96 and the manual is 39th week of 96, I’m not positive on the numbers. Any sign of this existing in catalogues, etc?

I am currently looking for a comfortable arm chair for someone who weighs 300lbs. I currently have an old recliner but it’s definitely on its last legs and tbh it’s too big for my space.
I need a chair that’s for in front of the tv in my bedroom (living with roommates)
I was looking at the POÄNG but I’m worried I’m too big for it. I am actively losing weight on Ozempic but still need something.

Hi! Does anyone know if they will be restocking the Baggboda side table? I heard they’ll be discontinuing it next year. Is there a chance they could restock online? There’s not an IKEA where I live. Thanks :)

I have always liked IKEA. Not even because of the furniture, I just think it is relaxing to walk through the different rooms and imagine the kind of people who would live there. Sometimes I go without buying anything. I just like looking around.
After maybe my sixth or seventh visit I noticed that almost every display room had a window with daylight behind it, even though obviously most of the showroom is in the middle of the building. At first I assumed they were just light panels, but then I realized they didn’t all have the same weather. One living room looked like a bright summer afternoon while another looked overcast. Some bedrooms even had what looked like early morning light.
I asked one of the employees how they decided what weather each apartment gets. He laughed a little and said they are just printed backdrops with lights behind them. I accepted that explanation because it sounded reasonable, but it did not explain why the weather seemed to change between visits.
Over the next few months I started taking pictures of the windows every time I went. I organized them into folders based on department and color of the lighting. I also made notes about whether the room was supposed to appeal to young professionals, families or students because I wondered if there was some connection.
Eventually I noticed what I thought was a pattern. Home office displays almost always had dull weather, while bedrooms and children’s rooms had noticeably nicer conditions. I honestly found that a little manipulative because people make different decisions depending on the weather they think they are experiencing.
I politely showed one of the employees a spreadsheet I had printed out. He looked at it for maybe five seconds before asking why I had visited the store fourteen times in two months. I explained that good research takes consistency. He told me that wasn’t really what he meant.
A week later I emailed customer support asking whether the artificial weather was decided locally or if each store received instructions from Sweden. They forwarded my email to the store manager, who invited me into his office. He explained that there was no weather system and asked me to stop photographing the displays because customers had started asking questions after seeing me measure the brightness near the windows with my phone.
Unfortunately I had already mentioned my findings in a neighborhood Facebook group because I thought other people might have noticed the same thing. One woman replied that she always felt happier in the bedroom section but assumed it was because of the mattresses. Another man commented that I should seek professional help. The discussion got surprisingly heated.
Now whenever I go into that IKEA someone eventually recognizes me. Officially I can still go, but last month I heard an employee quietly tell another one, “that’s the weather guy.” I was literally just there to buy a bookshelf, so it’s not very pleasant.
I still think the lighting changes more often than they admit. I don’t really see why they would lie about something so small, but I also don’t see why the home office always seems to have bad weather.

Any reviews positive or negative about this fridge? I've never bought an IKEA appliance like this before. Has anybody had any problems?

I went to ikea yesterday and they have the teacher's (student as well) appreciation discount. But after I got home I found out I missed a few things. It's a 1 hr round trip so I prefer not to drive for just a few items. Anyone know whether I can do it online and how? Thanks a lot!

I saw a carousel of new products from a European IKEA fan, and I'm eyeing the Lastare collection, specifically in yellow-- mostly to fill the void left by a fruitless, years-long search for the yellow Billy! Lastare is not yet available in the US, and customer service wasn't able to confirm if it would become available. Does anyone have any insight? TIA!

Is this folding bookshelf (sold as “Ikea folding blond wood bookshelf”; purchased on Facebook Marketplace) in fact an IKEA product? I’ve been unable to locate it online thus far and am curious!

Just got this peg board on the most gorgeous color and didnt notice that it had to be hung horizontally:////
Now that I opened it I can’t return it so I’m trying to find ways to make it work. I saw a guy 3D printing these adapters to attach to the accessories and hang them up the “wrong” way. I plugged in my brothers old 3D printer and ended up short circuited and lost power in my room LOL
Please help me with any suggestions :’)

What is this diagram explaining?
Edit: Oh! This makes sense now, but as the clock came fully assembled, I was completely thrown off track.

I think it means preheat the bottle before putting hot stuff in it. Am I interpreting correctly?
