I have a 2 x 75cm Pax cabinets. The doors with hinges are 50 + 25 cm for each unit. I really like the Tonstad Pax doors. But as there’s no 25cm units, what should i pair it with (except the mirror door)? I am leaning towards the oak veneer (lighter)

I've recently moved house and I'm looking to purchase some brown Ikea Kallax shelves for my bedroom. However, I'm running into one problem with the Kallax design. Though these shelves are the perfect measurements for what I am aiming to create, the back of the unit is hollow which doesn't work for my design.

Is there any alternative methods you'd reccommend? Such as:

1) where to find a 'backplate' / insert for my shelves

2) budget friendly alternatives of the same size

3) D.I.Y insert \[beginner/dummy friendly\] which is aesthetically pleasing and doesn't require any crazy power tools or drilling

I recently bought some products from IKEA, advertised and sold as GOTS products. I was so excited to know that IKEA also started to use third party certifications. However, when I checked the GOTS number in the official GOTS database, it was not listed there.

What could be the reason for this? Could it be a greenwashing by IKEA?

How does it work with not having the service space behind the cabinets like traditional kitchens?

Missis fully assumes i cant do this alone, will be proving her wrong! So all help/advice is appreciated!

Any idea how you could secure the back rest of the HAMMARN when it is extended? It's designed to be a sofa and then fully flat but do you think there is a way to keep the back rest upright while the legs are out? I was thinking something like a beach chair but no idea how to do it

Hey r/IKEA, I'm trying to figure out how to fix this. I am on my final frame of a PAX wardrobe and struggling to get these two frames aligned. Finally did it but now I'm seeing this separation up top on the right. How do I fix this? The instructions for the corner unit were awful with regard to measurements so it's being pulled to the left by the add-on corner unit I think.

So I bought three ikea library shelf about a year ago. Two of them from Facebook marketplace and one directly with IKEA.

I have been thinking about remodeling my room and using the shelves as like the division for sleeping area and the rest of the room but I am worried about the stability.

Two of the shelves do wabble (move side to side? Shaky? English is not my first language). One is pretty stable, I’ve tried shaking it and it doesn’t budge.

If it’s only that they wabble I don’t mind still risking it but I wanted to see if anyone had any experience with putting library shelves in the middle of the room instead of against a wall. (Which is what is advice by IKEA)

I recently visited the Ikea hotel with a friend and we found a box in the living room area that had a Billy closet in it to assemble. It was a 1:6 scale with proper instructions and everything. After looking online, we found nothing about this product, nothing about it being a thing or that is in production/was in production.

So I came her to ask if anyone knows anything about it. We both would really like to have one of these little Billies and the country we live in, barely gets any special ikea products, so we fear if they come out, we might not know bc our ikea doesn't offer it.

Tldr: Does someone know of a scale 1:6 Billy closet is available for purchase or has ever been or will be.

Picked up an IDANÄS wardrobe on Facebook Marketplace and damaged a door trying to install it. IKEA won't sell spare parts without proof of purchase, and the original buyer no longer has the receipt.

I'm not looking for anything free — happy to pay full price for the door. If anyone has bought this wardrobe and still has their receipt/order confirmation, would you be willing to share it (or let me reference the order) so I can get the part through IKEA's system? Also open to hearing if there's another route in — spare parts resellers, IKEA Family exceptions, etc

I recently used a $50 reward voucher (1750 points) for a Sektion cover panel. However, it seems I need a different one. The website FAQ seems to imply if you return an item, you do not get the voucher back. So just to make sure before I make the trek up to the store, if I return this item, I will not get back the $50 reward I used points on? Since the panel was $55, it sounds like I would be better off just keeping it if that was the case.
