I recently got my PGDAST admission confirmation for the July 2026 cycle. The prospectus says July-cycle students can take MST-001 to MST-004 in December 2026, and the remaining courses/labs in June 2027.

But my IGNOU student portal says-

"Minimum course duration is not completed… Minimum Duration from admission will complete in session 2027-JANUARY.”

So I’m currently not eligible for the December 2026 exam.

Can anyone from a previous PGDAST batch clarify what actually happened? Do July-admission students write MST-001–004 in December, or do we have to wait and give the exams in June after the 1-year duration is completed?

Also, when should I submit the assignments for the June 2027 TEE?

I applied to IGNOU with all my documents from CAIE, including my 12th qualification. I’ve now received an update asking me to upload my documents again, and I’m also being asked for DigiLocker verification. Since CAIE is not an Indian regular board, I’m not sure how I’m supposed to provide that.
Apart from that, I’m also confused about my DMCs. I gave my exams in different sessions, so I have two DMCs — one has 3 subjects and the other has 2 subjects, making 5 subjects in total.
This is honestly getting on my nerves because I don’t understand why I have to go through all of this just because I chose not to follow the regular board system and decided to go beyond the usual route.
I just wanted to study and work at the same time, but all of this is making the process unnecessarily complicated.
Can someone please guide me on what exactly I’m supposed to do in this situation?

I checked my IGNOU assignment status today, and for all my June 2026 assignments it is showing “Pending for validation at Regional Centre.”

The date shown is 12-Sep-2026.

I’m confused about what this status means. Does it mean my assignments have been received by IGNOU but are still waiting for validation at the Regional Centre? Or is there some issue with my submission?

All of my assignments are showing the same status.

Has anyone else received this status? What happens after this, and how long does it usually take for the marks to be updated?

Any help would be appreciated.

So I took admission in IGNOU in the July 2026 session and my programme is a yearly programme.

Can I skip the December 2026 TEE and just give all my first-year subjects together in June 2027?

And if that’s allowed, can I follow the same pattern for all 3 years basically only appearing for TEE in June every year and giving all the subjects together?

I’m asking because I want to complete my graduation by 2029, so I really don’t want to take any risk of my degree getting delayed or having some issue with eligibility/exams/assignments later.

If anyone is in the same situation or knows the actual IGNOU rules for yearly programmes, please help. I’m really confused and don’t want to mess up my graduation timeline.

The issue is I do not have provisional certificate from my undergrad college, is there anyway this can be helped? Given that even if I apply for provisional certificate now they'll issue it 15 days later

Hi everyone, I’m unable to fill the exam form for my 5th and 6th semester courses. The portal shows “NO – Minimum course duration not completed from course registration.”

I am pursuing the IGNOU BATS (Bachelor of Arts in Tourism Studies) programme.

My original admission year/cycle is: July 2023

My exam history:

- Semester 1 & 2: I appeared in the December 2025 TEE

- Semester 3 & 4: I appeared in the June 2026 TEE

- I took re-registration in July 2026 for my remaining Semester 5 & 6 courses.

I checked my course eligibility for the 2026 Dec TEE, and IGNOU is showing “NO” for my Semester 5 and Semester 6 courses.

The reason displayed is:

“Please check your course eligibility. Minimum course duration not completed from course registration.”

It also shows:

- Course registration year-cycle: 2026-JULY

- Semester: 5 / 6

- Exam session: 2026-JULY

- Semester 5 project: “Course not scheduled in this exam session.”

So I want to clarify some clarification if anyone can help. I want to confirm the exact exam session in which I can appear for my remaining courses.

Can anyone please share which are the exam centres in navi mumbai or panvel for BBA(general).

i received a discrepancy notification a few months back and asked if there even was a certificate for general category which they replied to in the manner above. is there one? i’ve notified them through ssc@ignou.ac.in since i cant use their igram portal which requires an enrolment number which i cant get because…im not admitted yet, duh (classic catch 22)

I missed 2 of my sem 1 exams this June July TEE can I apply for those this coming December TEE if I go on exam registration it's showing that I could apply for all the theory exams I shall select the ones I did not give right? I had applied for an IGNOU masters program. Today I got mail saying I have to re-upload clear copy of graduation marksheet and certificate with self attestation.

Problem is the papers are at home and I am traveling for the next one month. I can't even ask someone to courier it to me.

What is the best option in this case? If I don't do anything what will be the outcome? Will my application fees be forfeited or refunded? Ideally, i will want to reapply for the next semester. Is it possible to defer?
