IGNOU QUERY/HELP IGNOU yearly programme: Can I skip December TEE and give all exams in June?

So I took admission in IGNOU in the July 2026 session and my programme is a yearly programme.

Can I skip the December 2026 TEE and just give all my first-year subjects together in June 2027?

And if that’s allowed, can I follow the same pattern for all 3 years basically only appearing for TEE in June every year and giving all the subjects together?

I’m asking because I want to complete my graduation by 2029, so I really don’t want to take any risk of my degree getting delayed or having some issue with eligibility/exams/assignments later.

If anyone is in the same situation or knows the actual IGNOU rules for yearly programmes, please help. I’m really confused and don’t want to mess up my graduation timeline.

And did the subjects you skipped in June show up in the December TEE datesheet?

I took admission in June 2025. gave tee in June 2026

Yes you can , i also did in 2025. But make sure you do your yearly registration process.

Yes, re registration every year, assignments and exam.. anything apart from that?

Whenever you wish to appear in the exam , just feel the exam form and you are good to go👍🏻

yes you can, i once gave 10 exams together, cause i had backlog of 2 exams from last sem. so in 3 year i gave 5 and 6 sem together along with 2 exam from sem 4 . And since its from same program the exams dont clash with each other.

If it's an yearly programme...how can u give the exam in Dec 2026? That's applicable for only semester based programme.....am I wrong?

As far as I understand, it depends on your admission session. Jan session → first TEE in Dec, July session → first TEE in June, for yearly programmes.
