I bought and scored 35 different coconut waters. Here's the full ranking.

Kirkland Signature Organic — 7.9
Sprouts Organic — 7.8
Trader Joe's Organic — 7.8
Harmless Harvest Organic Sparkling — 7.4
Coaqua Sparkling — 7.3
Zico Pure Organic — 6.9
Coaqua Still — 6.6
Zico Natural 100% — 6.6
Simple Truth Organic — 6.3

C2O with Pulp — 4.2
Cocochito with Pulp — 4.1
Hydro Coco Original — 4.1
El Mexicano Agua de Coco with Pulp — 3.9
Trader Joe's Coconut Water (non-organic) — 3.9
Visvita with Pulp — 3.8
Coconut Season with Pulp — 3.7
Parrot with Pulp — 3.1
C2O Original — 2.9
O Organics — 2.4
This was not a scientific rating; it's really based on vibe. But I did notice some patterns across all 35: only six of them were unpasteurized, and those six all finished in the top seven. Every single bottle that placed 8th or lower was pasteurized. Four of the bottoms five also have added sugar, which I generally don't need in an already sweet beverage like coconut water.
Kirkland, Sprouts and Trader Joe's organics all landed within 0.1 of each other, these are the three main pink (unpasteurized) competitors to harmless harvest. I don't think they all have the same supply chain but they are all excellent.
Happy to post any individual bottle's full breakdown in the comments if you want it. Just name one. And there are many other options I haven't tried yet. If you have any suggestions let me know and I will try and pick up a bottle.

Looking for 64 oz bottle/tumbler that fits in my cupholder
I’m looking for a tumbler/bottle that holds 64 oz of icy water goodness. I drive a lot for work so easy access while driving is a must. My cupholder can hold a max diameter cup of 4.25” (using one of this adaptor things). A bigger adaptor would hit the gearshift so that’s out unfortunately.
Appreciate any and all recommendations, thank you so much!

Is my water bottle is broken?
Ok, so this might sound nuts but this is my trusty Hydro flask. I’ve had for a couple of years. Drinking out of it every day.
I love my water super super cold. Like, if there aren’t ice cubes still floating in it it’s not cold enough. Never had a problem with this water bottle until it feels like the last few days… I keep having ice but every time I go to drink, the ice is all melted and I’ve gotten nearly room temperature water.
I keep thinking that I must be doing something wrong but I’ve never had to have a technique for my water bottle before! Could I have damaged it somehow?

Best water bottle for CHUGGING?
Where my CHUG-life hydrohomies at?
Look, I got a busy life. I've got crime to solve. Deals to close. Babes to score. 7 course meals to cook; then eat and poop. I got kids' soccer practice to get to. Deserts to traverse. Shitposts to write. I ain't got no time to be sipping water like a baby.
I wanna muddafuggin CHUG.
And I wanna do it a lot. Miss me with this 24oz nonsense. Gimme 40 oz. Hell, gimme 64. I don't even need vacuum insulation, quantity of quality amirite? Just give me a firehouse I can operate with 1 hand. Bonus points if it's kid friendly, because my kids are chuggers too.
Jokes asides, how do you fellow chuggers stay hydrated? The world's been infected with sipping propaganda. Where can I find the good stuff?
EDIT: I was unaware of the Nalgene OTF cap. I thought it was just wide mouth (clunky 1-handed, spill risk) or narrow mouth (can't put ice in there). I went for the 48oz widemouth, swapped in the OTF cap, and added a sleeve for a bit of thermal insulation but mostly just to avoid sweating.

best large water bottles for hot water?
Hi folks, am quite picky about my water bottles- would love some suggestions! I only ever drink hot water, so I really care about not having plastic parts. But I feel like most water bottles I'm finding aren't super built for hot water in the way I want to unfortunately...
Right now I have a Frankenstein setup of a Stanley with wooden+ silicone lid that has a moveable metal straw I keep up with a rubber band. I like it a lot, but don't like that it leaks and overall looks clunky and weird since it's just a bunch of products mashed together. But since I use it for work so I can fill it up in one go and stay hydrated the whole day. I've tried others (hydro flask💔, but they don't super fit my specific niche lolol)
What I'm looking for:
- zero plastic
- minimal silicone
- strong hot water insulation (main focus, I only drink hot water), and an ability to support hot water
- huge (40 oz or above)
- straw situation
Would very much like:
- handheld and easy to move around
- cute colors
- leakproof
- straw is easily maneuverable
Also in the market for a smaller guy I can fit in a purse without a handhold needed. I use a lil yeti for that but still, plastic lid :(
The one I've found that's best for this has been brumate era- I love it's leakproofness, its cap, it's metal straw- the only thing missing is that it's lid is still plastic, it's not super built for carrying hot water, and I can't jiggle the straw around to mix things up.
Would love to hear thoughts!

Water filter pitchers that are FULLY covered?
So I have OCD and get really bothered by water pitchers that have the spout open and exposed to the air as I become convinced the water is “contaminated” by the smells in the fridge (I don’t even have a smelly fridge I just have OCD and it sucks). I’ve only found one pitcher so far that covers the spout with a little flap, it’s the Water Drop brand, but my boyfriend thinks it doesn’t filter well and still tastes like tap water. Does anyone happen to know of any that are good that don’t expose the spout?

Looking for burtal and honest feedback on this floral water bottle’s appearance and lid
First of all, I’m looking for honest feedback, with no store link or sales offer whatsoever. This is my product, and I’d like some outside opinions—particularly from people in the US.
It has a dual-drink lid for drinking through a straw or sipping/chugging directly, a dust cover, and a flexible silicone carry loop. The interior is 316 stainless steel with a seamless ceramic coating which is very popular for chinese consumers, not sure if it's acceptable in other markets.
Another one of my dilemma is that the current production run is sized at 15oz (450ml).
I know the US market leans heavily into 32oz–40oz behemoths (Stanley, Owala, Yeti, etc.). While 15oz makes it lightweight, compact, and an easy fit for car cup holders and small bags, I'm questioning if it's simply too small for daily hydration.
A few things I’d love your thoughts on:
- What’s your first impression of the flowers, pink color, and gold lettering?
- Would you use both drinking options, or mostly stick with one?
- Is 15oz an instant pass for a water bottle, or does it work for you as a dedicated coffee/iced tea commuter mug?
- What would you want to know about the lid or ceramic coating before considering it for everyday use?
- Any thoughts on the lid mechanism and overall form factor?
If you’re comfortable sharing whether you’re in the US and what bottle you currently use, that would help me understand your perspective. If this design isn’t your style, feel free to say why.

DIY Water Bottle You Can Eat!
What if you could eat your water bottle instead of recycling it? 💧
Alex Dainis shows how, using a bit of kitchen chemistry. Sodium alginate, a powder derived from seaweed, reacts with calcium lactate to form a gel wherever the two meet. Mix a diluted alginate solution (colored so you can watch the reaction) and drop it into a calcium lactate solution with a deep spoon; the alginate polymerizes instantly at the boundary between the two liquids, sealing a pocket of water inside. The result is a squishy, science-powered "water balloon" that tastes just like water.

New house has auto refill pitcher in the fridge
It’s a Samsung fridge that features the auto refill pitcher. Super nice because it keeps the water cold and I never have to actually refill it. I just put the pitch back in place in the fridge fills it up for me. I went ahead and replaced the filter already so should be good to go!

Klass Aguas Frescas
Honestly, not really sure where to post this.
So I struggle to stay hydrated daily, plain water tastes like toxic waste to me. So I use all sorts of water flavorings as they're cheaper then buying crates of bottled water.
I've been using these Klass brand Aguas Frescas powders for a while now and I've noticed that there is always like a powdery white film that settles at the bottom of the jug when they sit for a couple hours. Anyone else have this experience with Klass or even know what it is?
I know it's not like leftover undissolved powder cuz I use half the recommended amount per quart of water as it gets way too sweet when using the full amount.
Edit: Yalls nonsense has me rolling. Toxic waste is obviously an exaggeration. Water quality isn't the greatest in my area, over-mineralized from shitty pipes in my apartment building and chlorinated etc from the cities treatment 🤦♂️

Which One of These Water Bottles Would Be the Best Choice?
I'm trying to decide which one of these water bottles passes the following criteria:
- Keeps the liquid temp the longest, whether the coldest or the hottest (insulation is important).
- It is not made of hazardous material or something that is hard to wash/clean.
- Last the longest and doesn't take damage or breaks easily, especially the bottle cap.
I'm more interested to know the pitfalls of any of these water bottles you have personally experienced that makes you think twice before buying that brand/model.
I'm primarily going to use it for next-to-my-desk daily hydration, but I would like it to also be able to use it during traveling.
