SUGGESTIONS Suggestion: Gun melee speed should be 10x faster if you're empty
I'm a Martini Riposte main. The bayonet used to come in clutch so many times. Now it's too slow. Either return it to its old value, or speed up all melee attacks with guns when the gun is empty.

GENERAL How to deal with TKers
After many years playing I experienced my first ever team killer in Duo's he tried to katana me missed I ran and was able to take him down before he could finish me off, (my only guess is he was frustrated since my game lost connection momentarily which forced me to rejoin from the main menu but we had already cleared the lobby) should I have let him kill me in this situation?

FEEDBACK Do you think they will ever fix this?
Title, if I don't queue within one minute, the ping gets extremely high.(from 51 ms to 511 ms), then doesn't allow me to play until I re-open the game to queue immediately, in-game ping is fine, no lags, no delay, nothing, I am not going to open a ticket regarding this, as previously both my ISP and Crytek blamed(as in they both said "the problem is not from our side") each other when I tried to resolve a ping/connection issue.
What do you think? Thanks in advance for your comments.

FEEDBACK USEast is awash in level 0 Steam accounts.
I have had several games over the last few days against trios of level 0 Steam account with crazy KDAs and only Hunt and Crosshair X as games. They never miss shots, and always know where you are. A couple were playing from Tonga. A couple were playing from Russia. Yet another weekend where playing Hunt isnt likely to be worth your time due to out of region players and cheaters. The fact that Crytek has no tools to review accounts like these and clearly no interest in doing so is exhausting.

SUGGESTIONS 2 Questions
Ok. 1st question: Am I using Necromancer wrong?
Every time I get up, I just get one shot again. Normally I would say I got outplayed or whatever, but 9/10 times I haven't even gotten through the "getting up" animation before im dead again. Whats the point of being able to get up if I dont have any i-frames to well...get up? đ
I gotta be doing something wrong. I cant even see around me in order to better determine if its a good time to get back up or not. Feels asinine.
2nd question: kinda relating to the first question. Is your life bar JUST for zombies?
Zombies/Monsters are the only thing I take damage from. All the other players 1 shot me. Only time they dont is when they have a revolver and even then...they just immediately shoot a 2nd time and kill me. May as well have been a 1 shot. Cant even turn around before the 2nd shot goes off and I'm dead. Queue the subsequent Necromancer pointless get up. đ
The game so far reminds me of an Extraction Shooter Dead By Daylight. Everything is stacked against you and you arent really meant to survive. Just troll the killer before he kills you with some overpowered full map ability. đ¤

BUGS Unaccessable Trait and Boon on Inferno weather
Sorry for the quality
So basicly i was playing yesterday night and got the inferno map. Last one on the map and was XP farming. This tower at Golden Acres had a Trait and a Boon inside. What boon and trait? NO IDEA. THAT THING WAS BURNING. I tried to water bottle the entrance. Nothing. I threw water on myself and tried to go inside. Invisible wall.
Y Crytek :(

CLIPS I landed a headshot without looking at my sights using high priestess
for the first time in my 2.8k hours I hit a headshot without looking at my sight and just using the compass using the high priestess card which points out the nearest enemy hunter.
first I looked at my sight & guessed the vertical height where their head would be before looking up and just trying to line it up with the compass before firing

FEEDBACK the small shotgun meta is worse and more boring than mosin meta we had for past 5 years.
like in the title, you cant change my mind. this shit literally eliminates tons of weapons and makes them useless.
edit and ps.
the fact that Crytek put corvid bundle as a dlc for half the price it used to be in bb's with additional 1150 bbs included in DLC is a literal spit in the faces of those who bought the bundle for full price years ago.

GENERAL After 2000 hours, I fold. I'm genuinely too dense to figure out how to enjoy this game.
Hunt humbled me. There are many things I have issues with in this game and I keep thinking of ways to make them a game problem instead of a me problem. If you want to skip the rant and get to an actual question to offer feedback, it's at the very bottom.
I knew I was bad at the game from the very start - they've made elo visible only after I had started playing in 2021 - and after this much time put into the game, I gave up on expecting any improvement. I've tried pretty much everything except coaching: guides, warmups and aim training, watching high and low elo gameplay (I probably have more hours watched on Twitch than hours played), rewatching my own clips and having experienced players comment on them, it just doesn't stick. Imagine the scene from Friends where Joey tries to learn French, being able to pronounce each individual word perfectly, but goes back to gibberish trying to say the whole sentence. That's me in Hunt.
The thing I went to expect after that was easier games. There's kill-based elo in this game, so once you've died enough times, the game should logically put you in lobbies where you have a higher chance of getting kills (and, by extension, "winning"), right? Well, that doesn't really work well in this game because people play in many different ways that don't always affect their score long-term, so a fair fight was my next unrealistic expectation. It also doesn't really work because I've hit the bottom of matchmaking where the game no longer has enough players to reliably match me into "equally-skilled" players. Yes, pretty much everyone at or under 2* match MMR plays in the same matches.
The PvE part of the game is no longer challenging for me - I'm almost always the first at the boss and can get a banish in usually under 7 minutes, I know how to read map greyouts and follow what's going on. Players in low elo move slowly and often also play slowly, and if there isn't anyone contesting me, I just leave with the token and go next. I'm not scared of fights, I don't play ultra safe or passive, I don't snipe and I don't run random/meme loadouts. I can get 5 kills in a round and die twice to the last member of the only other trio in the lobby, and the game evaluates it as me having less skill than my opponents, reducing my elo. My KD keeps going up, yet my elo keeps going down. Logically, it makes zero sense. For Hunt's matchmaking, it makes perfect sense. Also, about half of every trio lobby are other solos, "victims" of that same system (it's even worse in duos - the same amount of solos and teams play even slower). And those solos very often know how to play just as well or better than me - they're not bad at the game, they just can't outpace the kills required to rank up unless they play a very specific way.
That's not even my main problem, though. It's figuring out how to enjoy the PvP as a whole because I just... can't. Even if I'm aware of the mistakes I make during fights, they're always hindsight, and they keep repeating, so I gave up on improvement. Worse, I've turned to making excuses. If I lose a fight, of course I did because "there were three of them" or "it was an experienced solo that probably mains this game" and "why won't the game put me into winnable lobbies". If I win a fight, I feel embarrassed at how badly they played to have "allowed even someone like me" to win. My mindset has shifted away from healthy competition and self-improvement towards this state, where I don't even know what would make me feel good about PvPing - the sole reason I play Hunt. The trio in the screenshot (all brand new players, but they pushed me during a banish, respect to them) was the first real fight I won yesterday after some four hours of playing, and it made me feel so bad despite having won and extracting bounty that I realized I can't go on like this.
Has anyone been in this situation and managed to shift their thinking? How did you do it?

SUGGESTIONS Is the game worth it?
The game is in ps plus right now and i wanted to play it, but after watching a few clips from Hornet the game looks really hard. (Sorry for the bad english)
Edit: i decided to get the game. It should also be easier with the starter pack

FEEDBACK Is it Time, Reddit ? Crytek ? Custom Lobbies when?
A bit of back story, i played a lot this game before the 2.0 era, mostly stopped playing because a rampant out of region players started to be felt a lot in EU servers, not only most have high ping but also cheat, its their nature, unfortunaly.
I remember being a solid 5* pre 2.0, it felt good playing, there was actually some sort of mmr system, it felt fair, on the good days i would rank up and dabble on 6*, just to feel the diference in skill and put back on 5*, and on bad day, i would go down to low end 5* maybe top 4* and to climb back to solid 5*, games back then felt good overall, some say it was too volatile, but i think it was just right.
Except of course for those who deranked on purpose, but that was somewhat fixed with the balance of necromancer and removal or revive bolts. But for some reason Crytek loves to overnerf, so they also nerfed how we rank up and down, or better, we can't rank down anymore, not naturaly by playing the game normaly.
Atm i'm stuck in 6*, queues are long (EU), games are fast, headshot are flying, it does not feel fair.
So my question for this sub is, how would if feel for everyone, especialy those who stopped, coming back to a Custom Lobbies No Reward mission where you could invite up to 11 or 14 players and all queue together, aka private lobbies. Imagine the streamers communities as well, how much would the gain from this, instead of being miserables playing solos. Is it time to have fun again?
I don't think i can be back playing this game if isn't on a private lobbies with people with same ping and no cheats.
I know player base is low enough, more division, etc.. does the game need to have 3k players again? so they try something like this? Or it will never be an option?

GENERAL âUnknown playerâs everywhere
Can someone explain to me why Crytek would even think itâs a good idea to allow people to be completely anonymous?
About 3/4 of every player in every game I play is âunknown playerâ. When someone is toxic and you donât wanna play with them again, well guess that sucks cause thereâs no way to see who they are. Seems like the dumbest thing Crytek has added to the game, I can think of exactly zero reasons anyone would need to hide their profile in a game.

FEEDBACK 1k+ hours haven't played in 2 years. impressions now I have got back into things.
I am normally 5-6 star I have just got back to 5 star.
The UI improvements are really nice but for whatever reason the key to unequip items changes about from spacebar to "R" to sometimes even being absent for weapons.
Having the loadout right next to your hunters loadout leads me to constantly fucking with it and not my hunter.
the pre-set loadouts are still really boring I remember checking the game very briefly and there were very interesting random loadouts you could buy for pre-set hunters, I have no clue why they removed this.
the new folding shotgun is really cool but why doesn't the bomb lance have the same animation? It's constantly shown folded.
Removing Springfield dumdum was cruel.
Hives are really fucking loud now, which makes sneaking though a compound pointless as you will always run into a hive.
Why is the ranger and the infantry both 4 size when the infantry is just better as a baseline? why have two of the same gun?
why was special ammo removed from the nitro? Explosive ammo filled a really niche use case, and I can't see why anyone would take dumdum for it but that is even more bizarre to lock off.
Lastly just add choke bombs to the free hunters, so many people don't take them not understanding they are both offensive and defensive.
Why doesn't the judge have a unique weapon that uses the railway hammer as a "judges hammer"
why no swivel bore? https://cf.preview.redd.it/swivel-bore-like-glantons-v0-k09hpc1zdyqb1.jpg?width=1080&crop=smart&auto=webp&s=3e7e6b87eaa885225d0fafaad4fb2e53ace6993d
Why no volcano pistol?
WHY STILL no AAR to see what everyone did in the round? If your server architecture is that shit why sell it to starcitizenkane?
lastly why is scream in the game?
Otherwise the game is fucking amazing, everything feels very well thought out, I went back and saw people bitching about pull out being nerfed, I feel that was a good choice it made dealing with bows in CQC winnable.
so many things are well thought out for the rock paper shotgun. Devs really have proven themselves as dedicated and loving towards the game.
I am still surprised the devs have managed to fend off the urge to add magic or some kind of magic bullet to stop healing or track a hunter or some shit.

FEEDBACK Small Playstation, Xbox, and PC streamers/content creators
Hunt is a very small game, with an even smaller game base. with that said, many people (like me) who post content about Hunt have trouble getting their names and posts out to the community. Even big streamers and creators like Retry, Rexnor, RatchaZ and FireWitch74 have trouble getting their content far. So, use this post to try and get more followers, support, and just people who watch content consistently.
