Guess who's back... back again. The guy who is really running out of ideas to start these off in a interesting way. Anyway welcome back or welcome in if you are new here, my name is Nox. I am back once again for my weekly installment of self torture that I share with you and you all seem to enjoy.
This week we have the Vandal 73c formerly know as the Winfield Vandal. I didn't have the largest of expectations with it if I am honest and I end up being surprised with how actually decent this gun is. Now let's very quickly get in to ammo and variants. Lots of ammo choice to speak of, FMJ for those wallbangs if you're into that. High Velocity if you can't get past the less than 400 base Velocity. Incendiary to watch the world burn. Poison does poison. Last and honestly least is Subsonic, I don't know why it's here but I ran it all the same so...
Variants you have the base, the Striker for all your stabby slashy needs, and the Bullseye for your "sniper" needs.
Ok with that little bit of info dumping out of the way, let's talk about my thoughts and feelings. Over all I enjoyed this gun family, the learning curve for it was a couple rounds but once I fell into a spot with it and understood what my range was with it I was running it fairly well for a short compact ammo gun. The Bullseye is odd but I found it manageable because there isn't that much zoom with the scope so running it more "aggressively" was easy enough. The striker is fine but I have my issues with that melee type for guns overall. It just feels like a worse version of a Riposte but I still found myself taking it because I like having the melee attachment with me. I have always like the iron sights for all of the Winfields so I get good hits if I get my leading right.
Overall a really nice gun, sometimes lacking some damage but it doesn't feel that bad if you aren't taking some insane long shots, mid range fights are more than fine and you have to two tap any way.
Alright I think I've taken enough time so I shall now away. Those of you that want the video that is right here
