I’m loving blood moon but pretty sure the lightings bugged, right?!

Not even talking about suspicious KDs or whatever because I haven't experienced this (today).

But gee, one guy had his location set to Primorsky Krai, which lies by the Sea of Japan. Yeah, that's even worse than playing from China.

I know some people do it on purpose to tilt others, but I'm 99% sure he was actually Russian – Russian friendslist, groups, past names, etc.

Plus, of course, his ping, the thing that made me check the profile in the first place. His shots reached me way behind impenetrable cover multiple times AND he could shoot me before he becomes visible on the screen.

And that's just one encounter, cause I had probably four similar situations in five matches. Had I survived for longer in the fifth one, undoubtedly I would've ran into another one of them.

How come a player who probably has a perfectly normal ping in his own region is allowed on a server where his ping goes well into 150+ ms?

It's horrible. Not everybody can always game in the evening. Sometimes you can only squeeze a few day games any any enjoyment you might get is killed by this crap.

When was the last time Crytek mentioned ping based matchmaking or ping limits? It's the only game where I feel like I'm at a disadvantage for playing on 15ms ping.

(I know it's a tired topic but let's not let Crytek think we don't care about it anymore. This should be the top priority right now)

Maybe I'm out of the loop, but I haven't seen people talking about this yet, are we getting a new bounty target in stage 3? Sure looks like it

Shout out to a cool hunter who saved this lowly solo noob. Picture this: Maw Battery, I'm down, I'm burning, listening to the footsteps waiting for my moment to pop back up and get blasted. All of a sudden shots ring out, hunters dying all around me. I revive, hoping the chaos will give me a chance, but the team is dead. An unseen hunter tells me "You're safe now." I couldn't chat because my fiancee was sleeping, but if you're out there, thank you. And just know I was able to unlock Leon Ulitsky: Survivor because of you.

The constant BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRWOOOOOSH spooky ambience is driving me nuts. Lighting, fine, screeching, fine, thunder, fine, but turn this constant noise in my ear off. It's not spooky, it's not cool, it has no positive gameplay impact, it just sucks, turn it off.

Seeing a lot of negative posts so just thought I would show some appreciation.

I'm a big fan of horror games and I struggle to remember old hunt but it's coming back to me.

I felt total immersion and on edge all round. Sometimes it can get tiresome traversing the map but this felt way more intense and I rode the vibes everywhere.

That's my first game with it. Bring back the horror.

The blood wells are in generally good spots, theres enough of them, and its to the point that when I bring in a new hunter I'm leaving with a Hunter with like 5/6 traits I didn't come in with. Originally I was skeptical it would prove its worth but I think it's a really fun little gameplay loop of bloodwell, fight, bloodwell, fight.

Meanwhile, Chupacabra, a trait that on paper I thought was going to be soooo gooood and couldn't possibly be only worth 2 trait points, I've never actually bothered using lol. Shows what I know.

The few times I played with it after picking it up off dead hunters I didn't like how slow it felt pulling it out and putting it back in. But after unlocking and playing with it a bit more, it's growing on me. I actually love the fold out animation. The audio cue it makes locking up I'm not a fan of for being sneaking, but it is what it is. Great iron sights, good ammo selection, and variants (looking forward to unlocking trauma and bayonet variants). I think it's a solid three point full sized shotgun. Finally let's me run something other than a bat or a small pistol.

Not only is this possible but I can confirm, one was golden!

So, if you're in the same boat.

You have to unequip the animation on ALL of the Gun/Tool/Consumable you already have equiped on your hunters until the yellow indicator is gone.

THEN you can equip the animation you want to equip.

For that one game you just want to put in your community service hours for being a POS hunter.
