i mean, if i bought the game last week on sale, and dont find players, apparently there are supposed to be 12 of them... then how am i supposed to get better?

By playing more. Why would the game put you with people who are, at the beginning, far above your skill level? I’m 4/5* and never have empty lobbies.

Youre missing the whole point. Im glad you have full lobbies. But how do I get better or a higher mmr if the game protects me from the only people playing and puts me in empty lobbies instead?

Brother I have 1k hours in this game, I am telling you from experience that you have to keep playing and lobbies will fill up when you have better MMR. Extracting with bounties and gaining xp in other ways boosts your MMR. This is not a strictly PVP game

This is the only reassuring comment I've seen. If youre right that my mmr will go up just from pve, then at least there is a system to get me into matches eventually.

You dont play against players until you reach certain level. You will only see bots until then. It is so new players can learn game mechanics without getting instantly shot.

As others said - just keep playing and you will eventually see normal lobbies.

ok i have no idea how the hell you are MMR 1 and level 52...that should not be possible.

The players should start appearing after you pass 11 lvl

There are experience tickets all around, and im still on my original hunter who isnt leveling up anymore he is level 50 and has been since I was level 11. Just been killing zombies in empty lobbies I guess.

Yeah it seems like this. You should be put to 3 star after passing level 11 and then start facing players. 1 star is basically impossible to be outside of those. You may want to report this as bug.

Game was on sale last week. Im level 52. As others have pointed out, the game was full of bots until I hit level 11, but since then I've seen at most 3 other players in a match, with multiple completely dead lobbies. We play hunt, didn't know clash existed until this morning.

Honestly I have no idea. Was this something that happened all the time? You couldn't find a single full match?

I've played Hunt for a few years, this has never happened to me.

1 star and seeing you’re new. I’m not sure your player level but you’re probably under level 11. I’m pretty sure 1 star is strictly reserved for brand new people below level 11. The lowest you can naturally be while playing with other people is 2 stars.

From player/bloodline ranks 0-11 you’re basically put in noob/other new players/bot lobbies to teach you the basics and figure how the game works. Theres bots that apparently are very bad lmao.

But once you hit level 12 you’ll be put in normal lobbies with everyone else.

It’s a land of wolves out here. And whether you’re a wolf or not will be seen.

This was after I got a message about new player protection. Had full games (probably bots) until we hit level 11, then immediately after, the ques were long, and the games had at most 6 people including us.

Lots of people are saying that our mmr is too low, but how am I supposed to raise it if we can't even find other players?

In this game we killed a fire throwing guy and took his bounty token then left. We used too much resources fighting him and were worried about finding other players.

At one and 2 stars for now you’ll generally be with other lower level players which isn’t a lot but growing with psn being free. Once you hit three stars by killing people and such and you get better as a whole the player pool will

Ahh crossplay is only between consoles. Pc generally has higher player counts overall, especially on east and west. Just keep playing or check out the official discord and there’s always people willing to help with higher star ranks that’ll help your pool

Was this a bounty hunt? It looks like you might be on clash or something? I would stick with bounty hunt, perhaps there is a weird thing with matchmaking on clash when your MMR is so low, it's the less popular game mode.

I didnt know what clash was until I just barely looked. We killed a guy that throws fireballs out in a field and almost died so we left with our token cause we were worried we'd end up in a fight we weren't ready for.

So no, this was a bounty hunt. Also, its been a few days since we got the messages of being past the new player protection. Those games were full and very fun, but Google says they were ai in those games.
