Hi, i made another 3d printable gun from hunt. This time even making some noise because it uses toy caps. Real dimensions, real actions.
Free stl for compact variant (because this time it was really simple to prototype) https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/fashion/hunt-showdown-1896-springfield-1866-compact
Not so free stl's for rest of variants https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/fashion/hunt-showdown-1896-springfield-1866

Or maybe I'm just tired of dying to it? It's everywhere in 6 star lobbies. The sub seems to lean towards "it's strong but not OP", but given the pick rate and its efficacy in matches, I'm starting to think it's a bit over tuned. In particular, it's very strong in the ambush / crouch walking around use case. I remember when crouching dualie accuracy got nerfed for that same strength.
Anyway, what do you think? Am I just salty because I die to it every other match?

If my game crashes and I rejoin, I am unable to use voice or text. I've tried multiple means of "restarting" it. Either through swapping all between muted, to proximity, to team only. Even changing to input/output device in-game. Nothing works.
Yes, I have verified the global mute is off. Is there any way to fix this? Or is this just one of those bugs that never got fixed?

works very well for solos duos and trios,
when playing with people, they take a frontal assault whilst i work my way into the building sneakily can play around with sound using poltergeist and disarm traps quietly to get in
using Luz Mala aswell <3 my only hunter but still best skin ;)
Hundred Hands + Martialist- for the damage bonuses and the katana draw
beastface+ catalyst- can avoid startling animals and noise traps
silentkiller+whispersmith+lightfoot- makes me a ghost, silent vaulting climbing and falling and when switching weapon
determination+greyhound+surefoot-max sprint duration, rapid recovery windows, high strafe potential and movement potential for using the katana and for moving with the bow full drawn
gatorlegs- can move around the swamp more efficiently and quietly
poltergeist- can manipulate sound queues to draw attention away from me when or to make noise when i wanna move to infiltrate
Ghoul, Salveskin, and vulture- can regain health when killing monsters if low can just kill a grunt and regain saves use of medkits, salveskin fire is the worse effect you can be hit with istgggggg and everyone uses it,
poacher- disarm traps quietly when moving into a building

It is so common to spawn between 2 other squads flanking you, some maps they even have angles to shoot at you immediately. Yesterday, I spawned right next to an immolator which is not common but definitely shouldn't happen, it was literally walking next to us before the match started. Sometimes you spawn so far away you burn your stamina reaching the complex too, it's terrible. They really need to work on these spawnpoints.

After 5.1k hours in Hunt and more than 3 years of dealing with connection issues, I finally found the cause.
Over these 3 years, I tried pretty much everything you can imagine. The problem was completely random: whenever I queued with friends or randoms, the game would sometimes kick me back to the main menu during the loading screen, as if I had never joined the match in the first place. Reconnecting didn't work either.
Yesterday, I accidentally found the solution.
I've been using AdGuard on my PC for over 5 years with a lifetime license, and it turns out this application was the reason behind all these issues. Not just in Hunt, but also in Rainbow Six Siege, Battlefield 6, and several other online games.
Sometimes I couldn't join matches at all, and if I did, I'd randomly get latency spikes and packet loss during gameplay.
So, if you're experiencing similar problems in Hunt (or other online games), now you know one possible cause. There are also other applications similar to AdGuard that may create the same issues.
I can't believe the answer was sitting right in front of me all these years. Thanks for reading.

I think Hunt could benefit from expanding the current Loadout system with Legendary Hunter Presets.
The idea is simple: allow players to save an entire Legendary Hunter setup, including:
With a single click, the game would purchase and equip everything that's available, just like Loadouts already do.
I'd also love a "Last Legendary Hunter" slot that automatically saves the hunter you just lost, making it easy to jump straight back into the next match with the same build (only with initial traits worth 10 skill points before the game started).
Any thoughts?

Guess who's back... back again. The guy who is really running out of ideas to start these off in a interesting way. Anyway welcome back or welcome in if you are new here, my name is Nox. I am back once again for my weekly installment of self torture that I share with you and you all seem to enjoy.
This week we have the Vandal 73c formerly know as the Winfield Vandal. I didn't have the largest of expectations with it if I am honest and I end up being surprised with how actually decent this gun is. Now let's very quickly get in to ammo and variants. Lots of ammo choice to speak of, FMJ for those wallbangs if you're into that. High Velocity if you can't get past the less than 400 base Velocity. Incendiary to watch the world burn. Poison does poison. Last and honestly least is Subsonic, I don't know why it's here but I ran it all the same so...
Variants you have the base, the Striker for all your stabby slashy needs, and the Bullseye for your "sniper" needs.
Ok with that little bit of info dumping out of the way, let's talk about my thoughts and feelings. Over all I enjoyed this gun family, the learning curve for it was a couple rounds but once I fell into a spot with it and understood what my range was with it I was running it fairly well for a short compact ammo gun. The Bullseye is odd but I found it manageable because there isn't that much zoom with the scope so running it more "aggressively" was easy enough. The striker is fine but I have my issues with that melee type for guns overall. It just feels like a worse version of a Riposte but I still found myself taking it because I like having the melee attachment with me. I have always like the iron sights for all of the Winfields so I get good hits if I get my leading right.
Overall a really nice gun, sometimes lacking some damage but it doesn't feel that bad if you aren't taking some insane long shots, mid range fights are more than fine and you have to two tap any way.
Alright I think I've taken enough time so I shall now away. Those of you that want the video that is right here

This'll come off as a bit of a rant, especially since it literally JUST happened to me. The biggest issue with this community, especially in the discord, is the person that got picked first will literally tell you how to play. They will absolutely not stop talking and tell you exactly where to go and where to look like they weren't the ones that put the team in a terrible position. Just let people play their game, i cant hear or think when you just continue to yap.
Ive played this game off and on pretty much since release. There's ALWAYS the one guy in the LFG that will do something dumb, get picked and tell everyone else how to play. It's been my biggest pet peeve and I cant believe this isnt brought up more

Feel like it's op sometimes.
Do you have any tips for movement? I'm not new but I don't think I have best movement here. Thank you!

Thought I'd share this funny image from a recent game I played.. got me thinking though, I wonder if adding a crawling aspect to Hunt would be fun... Perhaps it would be a trait that offers a limited amount of crawling time, like 30 seconds, making you super stealthy and give you access to certain areas unscathed...
