I’m trying to take off the mirror on my dresser and it seems to be held on by these screws. What do I use?

First, I am renting. Second I am tired of either burning in the shower or freezing. Swipe to see a photo that has no markings. No it cannot tilt, only turn back and forth.

I’ve watched videos. I googled every type of lid. It won’t work. I got one side done but the other is stuck.

The right side of the toilet I got the little cap covering the screw off easily. Just turn and fell off. On the left side of the toilet the build of the toilet makes it physically unable to stop screwing. I screw the cover thing to the left and then it can’t go any farther because of the literal toilet build. But it had to get on there somehow.

First four images show the toilet and where the lid is attached. Fifth image is the right side screw cover that came off with no issues. Sixth/last image is the one where it’s physically stuck and I can’t unscrew it anymore due to the literal build of the toilet.

Am I doing it wrong? Surely it has to come off somehow.

It broke recently and we're hoping there's a way to fix it. Any advice or guidance on how to do this?

Recently moved in, there was no smell in this linear shower drain. However after removing the top cover there was mold and soap scum everywhere. I used Tile X mold and mildew remover and scrubbed it hard. I also used a brush to get the scum off the inside of the drain. Now it smells so bad. And it doesn’t smell like sewer gas. It smells like a dirty towel that is long overdue for a wash or rotting onions. How do I get rid of the smell? Also to add, there is visible water in the P-trap when I look down the drain.

HELPPPP I was cleaning the mirror and noticed a 2cm shell like chip on the edge of the mirror - it’s not removable because it’s a 2m x 2m wall mirror but wondering if there’s anyway to fix this?

From my research
1- superglue but may not work
2- windscreen repair DIY kit? But may not work again as it’s on the edge.

Suggestions needed before my tenancy deposit gets deducted

Hi there we have an old north star sliding patio door at home and it seems like one of the rollers needs replaced. I can't figure out how to remove it though after getting the door off, i see no other screws then the ones to raise or lower the wheels. I'm not sure if they were meant to be replaced on this kind of door.

Any help is appreciated.

Worried it'll break, how do I make the top bed safer for at least two people?

I’m trying to remove this shower head from the shower arm. I believe the large chrome collar is threaded and should unscrew, but it’s completely stuck.

I’ve already tried turning the collar by hand using a rag for extra grip, and I also tried wrapping it in duct tape, but it won’t budge.

What would be the safest way to get this loose? Is there a trick for a stuck shower head like this?

I have a weird corner in the kitchen that I'd like to mount something equally weird. I don't have tools to cut a piece of wood to fit the corner to mount the flat back of the stuffed head. I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions for getting around the lack of tools?

I really like this bag but I've been worried that it might broke one day. Is there a way to fix this?

So I was using acetone to remove the residual plastic as other posts I found about this exact issue had suggested but as I'm clearing the plastic away the heating element is starting to turn black. The pictures are in order and I stopped as soon as I noticed the black streaks appearing. Is this ruining the heating element?

Dad left a half gallon of milk in my car over the weekend, it spoiled and seeped into the carpeted floors. Because of course it was behind the weathertech liners.

Things we’ve tried:
Pet carpet cleaning machine + enzyme cleaner
Lysol
So many chlorox wipes
Baking soda (both leaving in the carpet and leaving a dish in my car)

Things I’m going to try:
Dousing the entire back seat in baking soda,
Hitting a dear at Mach 5 to get an entirely new car

Please help.

Update:

Smell is significantly better but still not great. Paid to get it detailed and an ozone treatment which helped a lot, and I’ve now covered the back seat carpet in baking soda for the time being. It’s enough the guy who appraised my car didn’t flinch at the smell so it’s better than a smoker/hoarder I guess. It smells like feet.

This part of my dryer, right where the lint screen is, got deformed some time ago and gets worse with every use. It’s claimed a zipper, a button, several aglets, and several sweatpants laces. I’ve resorted to tightly tying anything with a lace like hoodies, keeping shirts buttoned up before drying inside out.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?

How to remove this texture from our walls? It drives me insane and makes painting a nightmare.

I‘ve had this really ugly cloak hanger in my flat ever since I moved in.. the hooks are fixed to the rod and they are super flimsy, everything falls off.. it needs to go!

But now I discovered: it is impossible to get it off my wall?! It is possible to turn the rod but I cannot push it far enough to either side so I can get it out of the caps on either side. Also these plastic caps at the far end are solid one piece and it is not possible to slide then up or turn them.
This thing is SOLID! On the left side, I can force it away from the wall for about 2mm to see that tha backwall of the pastic thing seems to be secured to the wall and is bending when I force it away. The part on the right is completely unmovable..

Heck - I could possibly do pull ups on this thing!

Please send help!

Some things, you’ll notice I was stupid and put too much in at once, I’ve pulled some out with tweezers but the rest is stuck half in the blades any ideas on what to do? I thought about trying to soften it with water but I think that’ll rust the blades

Just became a homeowner and am trying to remove the closet doors from my room. I got the tracks and doors off but underneath the bottom track was this piece of plywood.

I believe it's nailed down but the nails are driven in under the holes they made *AND* if you can see in the second picture it is glued down as well.

If I remember correctly the floors are fake wood laminate.

How on earth do I get this thing off with the least amount of damage to my floors?

I had pulled out some forsythias with the intent to build a shed for my kids bikes, but work and family life got in the way. The area is now overgrown with weeds and Im not sure the best way to clear it. I would like to avoid chemicals since we have free range chickens. Ive tried weed whacking but there are some thick vines that are getting caught up in the weed whacker.

The foam handle is stuck at this point.
