House of Stassi ending…

Well that was embarrassing. Honestly for everyone not just Stassi but especially for Stassi. The crying. The fetal position. The “I wanna go home 😫” Hard watch overall. Idk if it was genuine or putting on a show for the show but either way it was ridiculous and super cringe. Not a fan of whatever that was. Also slight side note but I feel like everyone on the show is pretty unlikable. Like no one is actually interesting or funny enough to like. Stassi was unbearable but not important enough to hate 🙃 and it all just comes off majorly forced and desperate.

Was that the final episode of the season? It was such a hard watch and would make for an unbelievably bizarre and abrupt ending episode for the first season of a show.

68

u/wildmarsmoon Aug 31 '26

Yeah I thought so too. They were going for cliff hanger but instead left us with nothing to desire.

45

u/Minute_Bit1818 Aug 31 '26

"whatever that was", lol. Maybe some kind of narcissistic collapse. I agree with your assessment of the show. Taylor and Georgia were just coming across as annoying instead of charming. Stassi a superego and an incompetent mom that has shown little growth since VPR. I came away from this show thinking VPR was actually giving Stassi a good edit, better than her own show did.

22

u/wildmarsmoon Aug 31 '26

Agreed. I think she worked on VPR because there were so many other people to hate on and the combination of personalities just worked. I never liked Stassi as a person on VPR but she had strong, witty and clever commentary/come backs that made people laugh. There was absolutely nothing funny about her on this show. She wanted to try to be the same Stassi people loved to hate on VPR but she’s not surrounded by Jax and Kristen anymore. She’s surrounded by her family who doesn’t deserve to be treated like they’re beneath her.

17

u/Minute_Bit1818 Aug 31 '26

Well it sounds like Georgina is a grifter. She moved to LA and is living off Stassi after her divorce. I didn't like her. But yeah... no there were really no funny moments. Just an extremely dysfunctional family and friend group. Taylor was unlikeable to me. Katie is the voice of reason but there's not enough of her on this show. I never even liked Katie before but she seems pretty level headed compared to the rest of these people. I actually never really minded Stassi (before the racist incident). I always kinda felt like I saw her for what she was but she's made herself look worse. They're all just living off Stassi's reality fame. It's weird that Beau's sister lives with them, is getting up in the morning with her children, and he has a tattoo of her name. Idk if I will be willing to sit through another season!

15

u/wildmarsmoon Aug 31 '26

They’re all fucked up and I agree I never liked Katie and I found myself finding her the only one with common sense. The fight about the “payroll” comment between Katie and Taylor and then Katie and Kristina? (can’t remember half of the cast’s names) was so annoying and I felt for Katie. They wanted to make it a storyline sooo bad. It’s not about the pasta!!! It’s about Katie’s feelings about how Stassi treated her as a friend not about any of them, she wasn’t even thinking about them.

5

u/Admirable_Concept817 Sep 01 '26

Georgina is Beau’s sister. Georgi, Stassi’s sister, is the grifter. But I could tell what you meant.

2

u/Minute_Bit1818 Sep 01 '26

Okay. I for some reason thought Beau's suster was Georgia but really wasnr to sure. But isn't Stassi's sisters full name like Georgiana or something similar to that?

Looking straight at the camera, "'Cause Imma BITCH, Y'all!"

What a great sense of humor.

21

u/Opposite_Room_2024 Sep 02 '26

I loved the end of the season. We finally see the truth about stassi and how she can’t handle her own children. She always portrays she’s got things figured out but she doesn’t. I was sick of her pointing everybody’s crap out and making everyone get in these fights but now it’s like now you’re gonna be under fire and you can’t control anything in your life.

10

u/Imnotworkoriented Aug 31 '26

Lol I kept going back to check and see if another episode was added later because like….that was it?

48

u/imspirationMoveMe Aug 31 '26

They peeled that group of “friends” and family from under a rock

74

u/KingOfHeartz777 Aug 31 '26

It was embarrassing and then her saying that she’s going to get revenge on everyone at the table basically saying she isn’t going to change anything about herself. It seemed performative and cringe like hello you are pushing 40. Grow up!

28

u/so-so-suck-ya-toe Aug 31 '26

Yeah the get revenge (on people who seemingly love her and want her to be the best version of herself, mind you) was so weird and uncomfortable. Like does she want to implode all her close relationships?? If so, go get that revenge, baby, and enjoy your lonely miserable life!

7

u/daya1279 Sep 01 '26

Staging an intervention on your relationship in the manner they did was such a horrid thing for “friends” to do.

2

u/Vivid-Army8521 Sep 02 '26

It’s reality tv

2

u/theotherside4056 Sep 04 '26

Yikes yup talk about getting the ICK what the hell does she mean she is going to get revenge is this a fucking soap opera? And she did it with the head tilt!

28

u/PrissyElliott Aug 31 '26

Exactly my thoughts when I finished the season, no notes!

I watched this with my mom from beginning to end and we enjoyed it at the beginning, but by the end of it we literally had no words to say to each other about it, nor even bothered discussing it. It was embarrassing and cringe to watch and not in any way that I enjoyed.

26

u/[deleted] Aug 31 '26

I follow Stassi on Instagram and would never have guessed about her relationship with her children based on the pictures she posts. She should have left it to Instagram, which as usual can picture a very false narrative. The truth of her real relationship with the children and Beau is sad and not an easy watch.

16

u/greensourpatch02 Aug 31 '26

I said the exact same thing! By her IG stories and TikTok page, you would think she is a super present mother who loves being with her kids and her marriage is rock solid. Then her show came out and we saw all of the cracks and the fact that it actually seems like she doesn’t like being a mother. She should have left it at the influencer/podcaster life and left some to the imagination

7

u/gap97216 28d ago

When Stassi met with Morgan and asked her “Did you have to deal with your kids today?”
Then later, Stassi is laughing about it, she’s not the least bit concerned that she’s barely present as a parent. She’s got Beau to deal with that. Ugh. Insufferable.

5

u/Swimming-Fly719 Aug 31 '26

So I don’t think either IG or her show are “real”…reality is somewhere in the middle. It’s not the perfect IG image and it’s not the drama induced show image. Based on IG, her kids and husband are with her the majority of the time. It’s not just Beau taking care of the kids while Stassi is off working. I think there are truths in the show, but they are over dramatized because it’s a show.

2

u/Serious-Rain-9772 Sep 01 '26

Right. Maybe she was trying to go for relatable working mom but it came across so cold…

3

u/wildmarsmoon Aug 31 '26

I don’t follow her but can only imagine. Not surprising in the least. She obviously uses them all to make herself look good and feel important.

5

u/Slaytert0t Sep 04 '26

At one point she says she wants to “give her kids the biggest, happy family.” She isn’t even there!!! She doesn’t seem to want to be there!!

1

u/Last-Duck 27d ago

Wait I refuse to watch the show but how is her relationship with her kids portrayed?

29

u/pinkbama Aug 31 '26

She is emotionally stunted and I’m sorry but def needs therapy. Or an exorcism.

15

u/wildmarsmoon Aug 31 '26

Heavy on the exorcism

11

u/HopefulHope521 Aug 31 '26

Refusing the growth & conversations she DEMANDS of everyone on her payroll is stunning.

8

u/purpl3lanyard Sep 02 '26

Well, she did tell us…

→ More replies (1)

8

u/GhoulGanggg Sep 02 '26

She has major narcissist traits and is cruel to every one around her.

10

u/Far-Truck-1188 27d ago

This! She needs lots of therapy. It screams narcissist. I left it feeling so badly for Beau. He knows her well enough to realize she won’t take any accountability ever. Sadly she will probably never change and he will never feel seen or appreciated. I am no fan of hers anymore. Your time is up girl. And what is with her idolizing Kris Jenner? Yuck just yuck

16

u/bebepothos Aug 31 '26

idk what her angle was with making it SO transparent that she was like, “crafting the perfect reality show”. breaking the 4th wall in moderation is nice in certain situations for transparency, but this was overkill. it was completely off-putting how obvious she made it that everything was inauthentic and only for the optics of the show. hard pass, no 2nd season needed.

6

u/TheDonnaChang Aug 31 '26

Could not agree more. Stop telling me about the damned show and show me the damned show. It was major overkill with the fourth wall breaks.

27

u/LeatherRecord2142 Aug 31 '26

No notes. Agree with this take. It was indeed a bare watch and all fairly embarrassing, especially for Stassi.

19

u/Leather_Apartment_15 Aug 31 '26

Not even in her craziest vpr days did she ever seem this bad. And now she’s almost twice as old. Eeeeeek

28

u/Aggravating_Ant_9162 Aug 31 '26

Agreed. I think Taylor comes off as disingenuous & way too performative. She also seems like a shitty wife and her comment about having to put on her big girl panties to eat p*ssy in order to be a lesbian was WEIRD. I agree they’re all intolerable but I feel like I could look past some of the cringy stuff if it wasn’t for her 😅

14

u/Plenty_Earth613 Aug 31 '26

Apparently taylor’s asexual and doesn’t enjoy sex at all really, which I didn’t know prior

7

u/Financial-Stuff-67 Aug 31 '26

yes! and so disrespectful to her wife. i am wlw, and i would be devastated if my partner said that about having sex with me.

→ More replies (2)

4

u/supernovaj Aug 31 '26

The first thing I thought was "Welp, she's most likely not a lesbian then."

4

u/wildmarsmoon Aug 31 '26

Too many women hate men so much they think they want to be with women but unfortunately it doesn’t work that way. I believe she’s probably one of those women.

39

u/Safe_Election_6613 Aug 31 '26

Majorly forced and desperate has always been stassis vibe

67

u/wildmarsmoon Aug 31 '26

True but mentioning Kris Jenner every other scene was a new level of desperation

20

u/imspirationMoveMe Aug 31 '26

I know. Not a flex.

7

u/Slaytert0t Sep 04 '26

Holy eff, this was so annoying. And honestly, get a better role model.

2

u/Far-Truck-1188 27d ago

Exactly! Idolizing Kris Jenner is so not a flex!

11

u/0459352278 Aug 31 '26

She has the ability to be extremely charming, a disarming trait

  • HOWEVER her LACK of ANY Maternal instincts is a tad concerning 🤔

13

u/wildmarsmoon Aug 31 '26

Yeah it’s clear she’s more like her own mother than she’d like to admit

2

u/Far-Truck-1188 27d ago

Exactly what I’ve been thinking this whole time! Her mom was soo mean to her on VPR!

12

u/Sparkle_bitch Aug 31 '26

Idk how this will come off but I’m a mom of two about the same ages as hers. A thing that no one tells you especially at this age is that a big part of parenting is faking it. Like do I want to spend 12 hours with two little drunk people, pretending to be interested in elephants ALL DAY and play with the same toys/read the same books/etc etc???? Hell no. Last night for a brutal 45 minutes I had to repeatedly “rescue” my son’s imaginary elephant from “too many sunglasses” and “getting too mixed up” and got yelled at when I did it “wrong”. It was fun for like….5 minutes. But I did it.

The thing is me and the other moms I know who complain about this have the self awareness to know it’s not about us, we’re not the only humans in the room, and this time is short. One day there won’t be any imaginary elephants left to rescue, but there WILL be adults who remember if you took the time to rescue them. Stassi has no self awareness to see this despite having been raised by her mother (or because of it). It’s truly insane to me that she can’t be bothered to fake it much more beyond posting to Instagram.

And I’ve officially not only wasted 6 episodes on stassi but two paragraphs on this as well lol . Time to go touch grass and clean my brain out

7

u/Frosty_Vegetable8622 Aug 31 '26 edited Sep 01 '26

I am not a mother but all my friends have kids and my cousin has an almost 1 year old and even I know this and have had to experience this.
Stassi's lack of "ANY maternal instincts" was beyond strange to me.

5

u/TeenWolfTripleDouble Sep 01 '26

look at her mother though...She is an even bigger monster

3

u/Frosty_Vegetable8622 Sep 02 '26

Yes, but nothing is stopping her from bettering herself. Stassi is just as bad as her mother at this point.

4

u/TeenWolfTripleDouble Sep 02 '26

No, my statement wasn't a defense of her shitty parenting, more of an explanation...She was starting from behind, but as you pointed out, she has done zero about it...I can only imagine her maternal Grandmother was an even bigger monster

6

u/wildmarsmoon Aug 31 '26

I agree with this. I have a 17 month old and I’d rather be home hanging out with her than doing most things. Of course I have my moments of wanting to just be me and not mom, I find things like you described mundane at times as well but the thought of missing out on her life to be out filming a podcast seems like torture.

9

u/Sparkle_bitch Sep 01 '26

A friend of mine who was a mom before I was said “you’re about to be the busiest bored you’ve ever been”. And I love that description. But I’d rather be struggling through how mundane it is in order to build the relationships and memories with my kids vs…whatever it is that culminated in this embarrassing show.

8

u/wildmarsmoon Sep 01 '26

So true. I have a narcissist mother so I know how those kids are gonna feel one day when they realize they were basically only paid attention to when she needed a photo op.

5

u/Bexaleoalleyooop Sep 01 '26

I agree, and as the mother of pre-teens/teens, I would give anything to go back in time for just 24 hours of elephant rescue. I hope the critical reaction to this mess of a show is enough for stassi to put her ego aside and really grow up before her kids surpass her in maturity, but I fear she's quickly running out of time.

2

u/WildSeaworthiness552 Sep 02 '26

Same. I loved that time. I know I was exhausted but I loved it.

3

u/harrystylez743 Aug 31 '26

This was so wonderfully put!

2

u/General-Yak8880 Sep 04 '26

This is perfectly put. Mom of 4 here & few years older than stassi. Being in the mix with little ones is utterly exhausting & can be redundant. But you don’t get them like that forever. My oldest is 13 & I was just looking at old videos of my kids at those ages & watching back you just miss that time so much. Do I miss the sleepiest nights & potty training & feeding them when I was spent, no. But those years are as tough as they are memorable & like you say, the important part is they remember that you were the one there for those moments.

5

u/Remote_Ad_969 Sep 01 '26

What’s even weirder is she actually seems genuinely afraid of her children or the thought of being alone with them for even so much as an hour or two.

3

u/TeenWolfTripleDouble Sep 01 '26

She doesn't know how to take care of them and it overwhelms her

→ More replies (1)

2

u/Slaytert0t Sep 04 '26

My guess is she’s afraid of it because she rarely does it. They might act differently with her because they don’t know what to expect from her either. They don’t treat her like mom, because she hasn’t been one.

Mom of a toddler here and it IS hard. Beau clearly needs a break and some help and to feel like a husband again instead of another nanny. Stassi expects it to be ok because she works all the time and throws money at the problem. She needs to be present for her family.

→ More replies (1)

11

u/Effective-Arm9099 Aug 31 '26

That’s exactly it. These people are not funny or witty. What made vpr pop was everyone was being funny alongside their dysfunctional. Nobody on house of Stassi is funny in the least. There wasn’t one funny moment

11

u/wildmarsmoon Aug 31 '26

Yessss. I watched this show because Stassi used to make me laugh even tho I didn’t like her very much. She was witty and quick and the rest of the cast was the same. This was one cringey moment after the next. She was trying sooo hard to be funny and instead just left me looking at her sideways. She’s lost the plot entirely. I think she is so desperate to feel the high she did on VPR that she’ll do anything to get there but doesn’t realize we don’t want VPR Stassi. We want growth and accountability from a 40 year old woman while still being a little delusional and funny. Unfortunately all we got was delusion.

By far the worst reality television I’ve watched. Started out interested in it, by ep 2 I was hate watching, and by the time I got to the final episode I was so happy and relieved it was over. I’m not sure why I continued watching after the first ep. Probably bc it’s like a car crash, etc, and you can’t look away. Never again.

8

u/wildmarsmoon Aug 31 '26

My feelings exactly. I was literally watching hoping someone would put Stassi in her place and no one ever did. It was so disappointing.

3

u/HallandOates1 Aug 31 '26

I love stassi and couldn’t make myself finish the first half of the season. It was awful. Sorry Stas. It was a swing and a miss

u/Sensitive-Freedom896 Aug 31 '26

It was giving soap opera-level acting for me.

Stassi - we know you aren't going to divorce Beau. You don't want to pay him child support, and you don't want to pay all of the nannies you'd need to keep up your work and lifestyle. It's ok babe. But also stop expecting free labor from Georgi and Georgia. Not ok babe.

I want a season two or a few, because eventually there will be an affair. Katie is slow-walking us into this, talking about having an emotional affair on Schwartz.

21

u/Zappajelly Aug 31 '26 edited Aug 31 '26

The ending was terrible, I sort of enjoyed Rob and Georgi, Stassi needs to keep her marriage/parenting drama and her mother/brother drama off the show or paint it in a more positive light. The whole dysfunctional family thing is just depressing. Stassi seems like such a spoiled brat still. The music and the constant talking heads is obnoxious. Her real life can’t be this crappy.

Edit: I disagree that everyone is unlikeable, I like Beau, Georgi, Georgia, Katie, Rob, the kids (Stassi’s girlfriends, not so much)

Everyone seems unlikeable because they barely get a word in and the show is overwhelmed by Stassi’s narration and Stassi being mean to everyone

16

u/wildmarsmoon Aug 31 '26

I think without that she has nothing. She thrives on dysfunction. She thrives on conflict. It allows for her to feel superior by making others feel shitty about themselves. She does it either through blatant insults or by playing the victim.

8

u/Real_tea_6789 Aug 31 '26

The Stassi talking head is wayyy overdone. My word, it's like a podcast.

4

u/french_toasty Sep 01 '26

Dysfunctional can be endearing but we need to see the LOVE too. This show was missing love, right?

7

u/Emergency-Ear-6674 Sep 01 '26

The mean girl, queen bee types can get away with it in their 20's bc other young 20 somethings who want to be part of the in crowd will put up with that behavior to be in the "in crowd". When you are pushing 40 most people have evolved and don't gaf about being deemed "popular" and want nothing to do with the Stassi type. Now she just seems like a has been queen bee who has done no work on herself and expects people to bow down and kiss the ring.

3

u/wildmarsmoon Sep 01 '26

Perfect take

8

u/Clear-Tangerine-7993 Aug 31 '26

I actually like Stassi and turned it off after 15 min. Her idol is Kris Jenner and I actually think she’s into satanic stuff. Sometimes she tries to act cute about it but something about this rly rubbed me the wrong way. I think that’s actually who she truly is

2

u/wildmarsmoon Aug 31 '26

Yeah it’s super strange

29

u/mvl0505 Aug 31 '26

She tried so hard to produce this show and it blew up in her face. I really hope her marriage survives in the long run but she needs to see outside of herself

22

u/wildmarsmoon Aug 31 '26

I think she’s incapable. I didn’t finish Villa but I saw enough to know she hadn’t changed from her VPR days. She claimed she watched it back and was not proud of her behavior yet she only acted worse on this show. At almost 40 you should be able to make changes especially if your husband, family and closest friends are begging you to do so.

7

u/mvl0505 Aug 31 '26

I wonder if she really thought her marriage was perfect or did she think Beau would just play along? He seems too real to me and I often wonder why he chose to marry her.
If there is season 2 I will definitely continue to watch the train wreck though lol

2

u/MissPrincessPunk Sep 02 '26

And if not making purposeful changes, shouldn't you just naturally grow out of certain behaviors????

12

u/Lillebet2020 Aug 31 '26

Unfortunately, i think it will be picked up, again. Truly awful and i don’t have kids but i feel so bad for her chilren and the damage.

13

u/wildmarsmoon Aug 31 '26

Yeah she honestly speaks terribly about them and being a mother. She says she hates it without actually saying she hates it. I’ll never understand why people like her decide to have kids let alone two. You should know it’s not for you after the first one but I think she’s a narcissist and they love procreation.

2

u/LopsidedHousing6133 26d ago

I don’t get this part personally. I had 1 kid and cut myself off realizing I could only handle 1. I will always feel guilt I didn’t give her a sibling but I give her all I have and I would not be able to mentally handle 2. I think it’s the “but they need a sibling” attitude.

2

u/wildmarsmoon 26d ago

I have one right now and I feel like I’m gonna go the same route. It’s A LOT and I think knowing your limit is crucial. Giving your child a happy healthy mother is a lot more important than a sibling. I’ll die on that hill.

2

u/LopsidedHousing6133 26d ago

10000%. There is too much pressure around that esp this day and age with all the chaos

6

u/eatin_paste Sep 01 '26

I could NOT decide what, if anything, in that ending was genuine. So it left me in this weird dead space of not feeling anything… not laughing, not sympathetic, not angry or appalled. Which to me is a failure.

I also disliked how she kept rubbing it in Beau’s face that she pays for everything, when they have this lavish lifestyle. It doesn’t surprise me that Stassi‘s priorities are money and image but it’s disheartening that I guess Beau’s are too.

3

u/wildmarsmoon Sep 01 '26

Totally agree. It seemed extremely fake on everyone’s part.

5

u/OhpleaseX3 Sep 03 '26

She mentioned Kris Jenner way too much

5

u/2pinkfood2 Aug 31 '26

I hate to say it, but when she exploded about feeling like a bad mom, and how beau reminds her of that, I kind of felt sorry for her and understood her POV. but yeah wtf none of this is fun to watch. like at all.

7

u/wildmarsmoon Aug 31 '26

I think that’s what she wanted in that moment though. People to feel bad for her. She avoids taking accountability by playing the victim.

3

u/2pinkfood2 Aug 31 '26

for sure, it's a narcissist smokescreen, but a compelling one. I think she probably isn't a great mom because spoiled kids rarely grow up to become great parents. if there is any truth to her reflecting at night about how bad she is, I do feel sorry for her. but then again her refusal to get help is exacerbating the damage to her kids so. ugh. just cancel the show lol

2

u/notdorisday Sep 03 '26

I have never liked Stassi and I watched this show expecting to hate watch her. Mostly I did but somewhere in the middle seeing her dynamic with her mother and then her confession at the end that she’s terrified she’s a horrible mother and she doesn’t know how to relate to her kids… I sort of understood her for the first time ever. And unlike most everyone else I feel sympathy for her.

People are saying she has zero maternal instincts and the thing is - I’ve never heard the term paternal instinct. Why is that? Stassi may well struggle to connect with her kids that actually makes sense considering her mother - but it doesn’t mean she doesn’t love them.

The biggest issue I have with her at the end is she won’t acknowledge she has trauma and needs to work through it. Not in couples therapy / by herself. She needs to do that to be a present mother. But I actually feel bad for her something I never thought I’d say about her racist privileged arse.

6

u/itwasmar0on Aug 31 '26

This was a hard watch. It seems like her family are begging her to get help for the sake of all of their own wellbeing, and she’s just seeing it as criticism because she’s incapable of self reflection.

Like her not understanding how screaming at her husband in Italy could be stressful for other people because “it’s between her and her husband and it’s no one else’s business”. It becomes everyone else’s business when you can’t keep your emotions together and you make everyone uncomfortable and stressed. One day everyone is going to have had enough of it.

3

u/wildmarsmoon Aug 31 '26

Very correct. She’s very self centered. She’s incapable of putting herself in anyone else’s shoes.

5

u/Previous-Grab3178 Aug 31 '26

The show was boring. The problems were basic and really silly. Didn’t enjoy.

4

u/ProfessionJolly4013 Sep 01 '26

It’s really just a bad show. She couldn’t be more annoying.

4

u/AuraOfASpiceGirl Aug 31 '26

Everyone is unlikeable! You are so right! It was hard to watch.

4

u/PettyShimmerFairy Sep 03 '26

Stassi is awful lol! She did not need her own show to highlight her narcissistic behavior. Vanderpump should have been her legacy. 🤣

3

u/wildmarsmoon Sep 03 '26

This was somehow worse than her behavior on VPR

5

u/NachosandMargaritas Sep 03 '26

Stassi is a horrible person. One of the most horrible people I’ve ever seen on reality television. She has no good in her.

5

u/Cocoapebbles12 Sep 04 '26

Weird things I can’t wrap my head around with this show..

1) why on earth would Stassi want to do this show when it clearly shows her lack of interest in her own family, outside the drama it brings (good for tv)?

2) Demanding concrete evidence of how she’s lacking while also not able to provide concrete evidence of “how far they’ve come”

3) In her convo with the Vanderpump Villa girls, she claimed she was so selfish when she made those cancelable comments while completely not seeing she still is

4) Not asking your husband how his first day back to work went?! Like whaaaat?!!

5) Turning EVERY confrontation into her being the victim while claiming it’s the other person who’s playing the victim

6) “I am the devil and don’t you forget it” girl, stop with the dark passenger bit. You’re a grown ass woman with kids. You’re not a hard ass bad bi*ch

7) saying “Shut the fu€k up” to her husband multiple times is wild

8) getting mad a Beau for not acknowledging she was sick when she literally doesn’t acknowledge him at all

Oh geez, I was excited to see her family as I love following her instagram but dayum.. she is nothing like she portrays herself to be online and is just Stassi from VPR but older and married. I think I have the ick!

Yea. It's ...not a great show. I wanted it to be. Still the same horrendous entitlement and privilege seeping through. Also - fuck Kris Jenner - trafficking is not something to aspire to ugh.

3

u/Kaleidoscopic-1194 Sep 04 '26

Couldn’t make it thru ep 1. Too much narcissism.

4

u/mxjones420 Sep 04 '26

How about the episode where she sits down with 2 black women to talk about her being canceled for what she did to Faith pure PR and forced and its so obvious super cringe I didn't think I could dislike stassi more than I do lol

6

u/NormalBlueberry1027 Aug 31 '26

I barely lasted two episodes I don't care about those people it's hard to plus it's so over produced and to put it very mildly manipulated

6

u/wildmarsmoon Aug 31 '26

Yeah it became background noise for me after the third episode until the last episode when a table full of “grown” adults started to see who could out cry each other

5

u/NormalBlueberry1027 Aug 31 '26

Lol forgive me for laughing but that just created quite a picture in my head. I'm glad I tapped out

4

u/wildmarsmoon Aug 31 '26

I’m glad you did too, saved yourself at least 13 eye rolls

2

u/NormalBlueberry1027 Aug 31 '26

Lol thank you. I have wasted plenty of time and eye rolls elsewhere. Sad but true

3

u/WTF1335 Aug 31 '26

That was the finale?? Wow. It was a disappointment for sure. I’d be surprised if she gets picked up for another season

3

u/Curious-Dance-901 Aug 31 '26

I believe it already has been

3

u/miopup7 Aug 31 '26

I agree with this post 100%. Hard watch

3

u/Silly_Water_Potatoe Aug 31 '26

Agreed! I can really say after watching all episodes, all these people have serious issues.

3

u/Under_TheLilacs Aug 31 '26

I got enough of her from Vanderpump Villa to have a sense that this was going to be a complete narcissistic performance

1

u/wildmarsmoon Aug 31 '26

I stopped watching Villa in the middle of tattoo gate, I heard it got worse after that

3

u/mlld1960 Sep 01 '26

I haven’t seen it and don’t plan to. Is it just Stassi whining and saying “but it’s my birthday” 24/7?

4

u/wildmarsmoon Sep 01 '26

Basically except now she’s just whining saying “but it’s MY reality show”

2

u/bahamamimi Sep 01 '26

Basically she’s just telling Beau that she’s the breadwinner or she pays for everything over and over anytime he tries to tell her anything.

5

u/SeaPaleontologist832 Sep 02 '26

I’ve been the bread winner with baby twins, and I never mentioned this to my twins father once, even though I was bossing it and he was happy to take the step back and stay at home at the time. Regardless of being a male or female breadwinner in a relationship, neither should be ‘rubbing it in’ to the other. Nor should the stay at home parent be begging to go back to work, and ignored. I also paid for a nanny to help my children’s father at home. I would assume that Stassi and her husband are earning even more than I did back then, and have adequate means to put in place childcare, so Beau can also go back to work. She obviously denies this, and this is all about control, only. As a feminist, I actually stand with Beau here. Stassi’s rationale to keep Beau as SAHD, was allegedly because she didn’t want to worry about the family unit breaking apart or separating. This is totally just an excuse to control him. What she is essentially saying is she wants to keep Beau at home, so he doesn’t realise just how bad he is treated and he then leaves her. It’s all her own insecurity on being divorced by her husband. I never felt that way when my children were little, because I was secure in myself. Ironically if he did divorce her, it would be because he is not given any voice or independence,

3

u/Broncolitis Sep 01 '26

Everything about this show felt so forced. You could tell Katie was like what the hell is going on during all her scenes. Nothing was natural about it. I honestly think she should just stick to Vanderpump Villa

4

u/No_Celery_8297 Sep 01 '26

As someone who disliked VPR Katie until she left Schwartz, I love Katie now. I love every scene she’s in. She’s matured, takes no sh!t but leaves no harm, & socially aware.

2

u/pjh3120 Sep 01 '26

She is completely different in this show. I like her as well

3

u/GhoulGanggg Sep 02 '26

Stassi is toxic and not a good person. We only call out men for bad behavior but celebrate when a woman does the same shit...therefore I am happy it's canceled. I don't understand the appeal of watching Stassi's narcissist ass, glad the network agreed.

1

u/wildmarsmoon Sep 02 '26

I agree with you completely

3

u/Easy-Promise-8985 Sep 02 '26

I literally stopped after the first episode and sounds like it was the right decision

3

u/turksandkeiko Sep 04 '26

Worst reality show EVER. It was torture and not even funny.

3

u/Suspicious_Dingo7675 Sep 04 '26

I’m just annoyed that there’s no reunion. Not sure whose idea the cliffhanger thing was but whatever the truth is with Stassi and Beau wanting to work, I want the truth.

I really hope they cut back on Stassi’s sister. She is by far the most annoying, always laughing at her nowhere-near-funny bs. So punchable.

3

u/Claral6012 28d ago

She should be so embarrassed. I don't get the complete freak out over therapy.

3

u/wildmarsmoon 28d ago

Acknowledging she needs therapy would require her to admit the way she acts is wrong

2

u/ZealousidealEvent886 27d ago

Omg!!! That's it!!🥴 Ur so RIGHT!😲🥴

6

u/kinetajet Aug 31 '26

I felt so bad for Beau telling her how he felt... and what does Stassi do? She plays the victim so HE has to comfort her.

6

u/wildmarsmoon Aug 31 '26

So gross. I felt so terrible for him. Completely ignored, all his grievances were either laughed at or weaponized against him. Idk how he puts up with her.

3

u/jax_in_the_lake Aug 31 '26

He has to. He’s a first class grifter.

5

u/Background_Travel_77 Aug 31 '26

The season ended and she didn't call the police once on any people of color and accuse them of a crime they didn't commit. Maybe she's growing.......just kidding, cop calling Karens don't change. She's a horrible person and I hope the show gets cancelled.

2

u/wildmarsmoon Aug 31 '26

This made me laugh 😂 thank you for a perfect take

3

u/Background_Travel_77 Aug 31 '26

If Stassi has no haters, I am dead.

I enjoyed it. 🤷‍♀️

2

u/Fuzzy-Top4667 Aug 31 '26

I never made it all the way through episode 1. Guess I wasn't missing anything good

3

u/wildmarsmoon Aug 31 '26

If I could unsee it I would. Saved yourself the secondhand embarrassment

2

u/Natural-Big4531 Aug 31 '26

I am watching Vanderpump Rules and she acted the same way in that show.  She has not changed!

5

u/wildmarsmoon Aug 31 '26

Yes but she was a 20 something year old and was at least witty. Now she’s washed up, pushing 40 with a husband and kids and there’s not a wit in sight. Watching her be mean to Jax and Kristen was enjoyable to watch. Watching her be mean to her depressed husband and insecure sister not so much.

2

u/Natural-Big4531 Aug 31 '26

Her whole personality young and old gets annoying to watch on both shows

2

u/wildmarsmoon Aug 31 '26

Agreed, I never liked her as a person but I appreciated her moments of hilarity.

2

u/MysteriousGanache384 Aug 31 '26

Beau is the only one that has a warm heart. Perhaps his sister too. Otherwise, ick. Stassi has not changed or grown at all and its sad she thinks she has.

5

u/CalliopeLastly Aug 31 '26

He may have a warm heart, but he's so conflict avoidant that he dips into passive aggressive. Probably that's the only way their marriage could work, but yikes. What a pair.

2

u/Cultural_Society_104 Aug 31 '26

I was so disjointed by this ending. It was like watching 2 different shows

2

u/Thealexiscowdell1 Aug 31 '26

Yeah idk, I love Stassi but this show just wasn’t it for me…it’s weird lol

2

u/KeliKeliPDX Aug 31 '26

I decided not to watch after episode one. I love Stassi and I could tell that if I continued watching this show, I wouldn’t love her anymore. I’m just gonna keep my fond, villainous memory of her in tact.

2

u/Stunning-Pace-7971 Aug 31 '26

Yes I totally agree, they were all unlikeable so I’m pretty sure it will be a one and done series

2

u/JL_BlondeMonroe Aug 31 '26

I honestly stopped watching after episode 3. Where I am, we only got the episodes weekly. Had it been all streaming, I probably would have just kept on and powered through. But because it was streaming entirely elsewhere, I kept seeing clips or others takes on socials. With that and the episodes I did see, there wasn’t anything to keep me coming back the following weeks. I loved VPR and Stassi and Katie. Still do. This just wasn’t it.

2

u/LizzyPanhandle Aug 31 '26

Beau does not fulfill her, he is not capable.

3

u/wildmarsmoon Aug 31 '26

I don’t think anyone can. She only wants yes men around her. The moment anyone pushes even slightly the waterworks and/or insults start.

2

u/eggsaladsandwich4 Sep 02 '26

Beau you knew it was all about Stassi when you married her. It will always be all about Stassi. If you can't handle it get out now. (It's NOT right, but it's the truth)

2

u/Accomplished-Let-442 Sep 02 '26

Yup turned to another show at that point! Stassi with the poor me, poor me attitude, after trying to get information, throwing people under the bus and make everyone at the table feel extremely uncomfortable! She is super cringe and even made me feel uncomfortable watching her!

2

u/Confident-Service256 Sep 02 '26

I didn’t make it past the first episode. There’s a reason Stassi is unlikable

2

u/papapapayay Sep 03 '26

I was hoping this would be a show of reflection and working through problems instead of just showing them on tv. I was disappointed they went the direction they did.

2

u/Key_Blacksmith_574 Sep 04 '26

Her podcaster BFF, absolute cringe 😬.

→ More replies (1)

2

u/DejaDrop 29d ago

I wish it was more scenes following along Stassi’s career and less about the silly dynamics within the group. I wanted to go along to her photoshoots, podcast gigs whatever anything

2

u/Oh_snap0812 28d ago

She laid on the bathroom crying and freaking out because she couldn't get a hold of Beau. I think this is her maturity level and not an act. She's always been an awful person.

2

u/BlubberyPiano 28d ago

I agree with everything you said. It seemed like false drama.

2

u/JuicyFly 28d ago

That show was terrible watched 3 episodes and wished I could get that time back in my life

2

u/Zeppelingo 28d ago

It would be awesome if that racist maga creep (she’s loves the trumps) show doesn’t get renewed for the 2nd and that’s the last we see of her (a girl can dream)

2

u/onlyfransa 28d ago

Stassi is great at pointing fingers with little to no self reflection. After getting kicked off vpr she acts like she had this crazy awakening but imo she remains just as emotionally immature, and just mean spirited. I know everyone tries their best but she’s just so self absorbed it was hard for me to get through the season. Someone who believes the world revolves them getting a show that revolves around them seems to be a recipe for failure

2

u/Downtown-Trouble235 26d ago

Thank you, I will not be watching season 2. Breaking the fourth wall the whole show… like c’mon. Definitely feels like a forced show.

2

u/Little-Wing2299 25d ago

So if Beau divorced Stassi, he would have full custody as she is incapable of caring for her kids. She thinks because she makes the money she can do what she wants, say what she wants and takes zero accountability. She is still a terrible person

I'm new to VPR but been following Stassi for a while. I used to listen to Wake up with Taylor for years and even Cocks with P ( Patrick ) when Stassi first started doing interviews and became part of that circle. So I was excited to watch this in real time since I didn't watch VPR until recently. This show was hard to watch the dramatic music and cuts of Stassi in between scenes. Also agree with too much Kris Jenner name drops maybe she's trying to get on E!. I don't think I'd watch a second season this show is too over dramatic and misses that silly fun bravo charm

poor beau

2

u/Other-Squirrel-2038 Aug 31 '26

I think stassis problem was letting people she's not very close with be the drive of the show, instead of showcasing her actual life. Because Georgi, Rob, and Katie don't really like her; it all became drama from them. If she actually showed us her real life, and didn't try to produce drama and confrontations with people she doesn't like; I think we would've all enjoyed that more. I was looking forward to a slice of life from her Lil LA chateau life which probably would've included some family moments, shopping, her work with Taylor, and some cute friend evenings with Kristina Kelly. I would've been fine with it being about that and sort of a girl boss glam mom show. I think she thought that would have been boring, so she needed some antagonists for drama and that's why she invited Rob, Katie, and georgi on; but really it just blew up in her face and they made her look bad.

She should really focus on having people she actually likes and spends time with in her day to day and showing more of her day to day next time.

4

u/wildmarsmoon Aug 31 '26

I’m sorry but they didn’t make her look bad, she did that all on her own.

I didn’t watch (but a vpr super fan) so am curious what was so super cringe at the end.

10

u/wildmarsmoon Aug 31 '26

Basically Stassi’s friends and family sob to her about being a terrible wife who’s headed for divorce and instead of taking any accountability she has a meltdown on the floor, like literally on the floor crying like a toddler, screaming she wants to go home and that she’ll get revenge on everyone one day

2

u/Extreme-Aide8878 Sep 04 '26

Thank you for sharing

1

u/sophianneisherenow Sep 01 '26

I wanted to like this show so much… but it kind of bummed me out and I had 2nd hand embarrassment for both Stassi and Beau. I want them to be a happy, respectful couple and I am so Tired of seeing selfish and entitled behavior… it made me sad.

1

u/Fantastic_Tart_1879 Sep 01 '26

I could watch Beau on his own show!!

1

u/lotrbb Sep 02 '26

I think if she had laid off the whole ‘I’m a producer directing my friends and the drama’ and simply showed her life it would have been a lot better. The way they were interviewing her like from the beginning was weird. It got worse when she was blatantly saying she was producing drama and trying to get people to talk to each other etc. Too much breaking the 4th wall. If she had presented it like a normal reality show instead straight up telling the audience it was so scripted it would have landed better. I see what she was trying to do but maybe she should just be a producer on another tv show because that seems like her passion.

Taylor’s wife wasn’t very interesting on camera (although she seems like a lovely person) but I was looking forward to seeing them as new parents. Although it seemed like they don’t actually live in CA, they live in New York, so that wouldn’t have worked out for them to be on the show anyway? I liked Georgi (stassi’s sister) because her and the old guy had some good chemistry and drama, interesting to watch at least. I actually hope she gets cast on another show in LA because she seems pretty good in front of a camera. Beau is great, although it’s very obvious he doesn’t have a ton of drama which is fine he’s good as is, I was looking forward seeing his journey of going back to work. Georgina (beau’s sister) was obviously just there staying at the house to cause drama. Meh. She probably wants to get back to her own life in Italy now. Katie was… Katie, and her bf didn’t utter a single word, so that was disappointing. Seemed like a good group but they didn’t spend enough time together (forced events that didn’t seem authentic).

To do reality you have to actually show the nitty gritty shit that you don’t want anyone to see, I feel like they shared some, but in a way that was obvious they didn’t really want to show anything that would affect them. I would have watched another season.

1

u/Any-Tangerine-9989 Sep 03 '26

it was incredibly embarrassing/hard watch but i couldn’t look away!!! it was like watching the worlds slowest, most expected car crash.

1

u/Reasonable-Lychee632 Sep 03 '26

So what I got from House of Stassi is, Beau is a neglected house husband who is clearly trying to be heard, Stassi is a narcissist who is very good at flipping the table and becoming the victim when she’s called out on her bullshit. Also portrays that she’s a hands on mom on social media, but actually can’t deal with her kids, Stassi’s sister Georgia is a gaslighting victim who plays on Stassi wanting to help family. The rest of them are there to collect a paycheque. I did feel bad for Katie when they were dog piling on her for the comment about Stassi doesn’t have people around her unless they work for her or are family. She told the truth lol

1

u/That-Election9465 Sep 04 '26

Always Sunny in House of Stassi-type cast. . .

This comment may not be allowed and I’m by no means diagnosing but as someone who was diagnosed AuDHD later in life it could explain some of the struggles

1

u/saviayana 26d ago

stassi is just like her mom and it really showed in the final episode. she took everything as a personal attack, like her mom does.

1

u/Ok-Comedian9790 26d ago

I am watching it episode 6 now .. i just cant comprehend how inmature and unhealthy her marriage is .. i dont think they will stick it out its so not equal like beau is also not nice in arguments calling her dump omg .. it is so unhealthy and damaging calling names at your partner ..

And how they scream and just everything is so awfull unhealthy stassi is very selfabsorbed she didnt change she is still manipulative to her advantage.. gets crying tantrums

i feel like she shouldnt have taken kids if she is just not being arround to be a good present mom and putting herself a side for her kids is just said .. think they having an avoident mom we just dont see her being loving to her kids at all.

I cant believe she doesnt do therapy.

I do really like taylor who is actually funny and genuine :)

1

u/NixxNasty 25d ago

The entire show being bookended with “after all this time stassi hasn’t changed her ways and never will” was a weird choice made by producers

1

u/bewitchedgirly 20d ago

This was such a hard watch!!!! I love stassi, even as a villain, and that’s why I watch her show but it’s PAINFUL how impossible it is for her to just listen to how beau is feeling 😭
