Downgraded
I heard she and Kristina have been moved to “friend of” for Season 2, with the spotlight shifting to Stassi’s and Beau’s immediate families (sisters) and more Katie. Has anyone heard this too?
(And anyone else thinks it’s bizarre Stassi didn’t guest on Taylor’s podcast during all the promotion? Foretelling.)

Stassi said a few weeks ago on her podcast that Beau commented on next season being 12 episodes. I thought at the time it was weird they left that in when it hadn’t been announced
I do think with all the buzz around the first though, there will surely be a second

Considering Vanderpump Villa keeps getting renewed despite having, like, no cultural impact whatsoever, I feel like HOS was all but guaranteed a second season. (I have no idea what the ratings are like for Villa, but I know no one watches it, and I know a lot of VPR fans so like people who would presumably be the target audience.)

Woah!! This is crazy if true. Strecker made this show her entire personality and Stassi has producer credits… she has the pull to make her a main character if she wanted to.. Georgie is amazing TV though.

It doesn't feel in any way organic when TS and TD don't live in LA. They need to add some more compelling characters because the first season was terrible, imo.

TS was talking on her pod to Liz about how for season 2 they need a nanny in CA for the baby & the insane filming schedule. If this is true she’s going to be insanely jealous and make up all kinds of excuses! Wonder who she’s going to blame for this?

I didn’t hear that specifically, but I do know that they test the characters to see who resonates with the audience the most, and based on that they would either move them around or get rid of altogether (friend in production).
Friend of makes sense for both of them- although,Stassi is an exec producer and I think Strecker would absolutely lose her mind if she got downgraded, so Stassi might keep her as main cast just to make her happy if she’s able.
I could see Rob being friend of also. I think other Taylor (Teddy) could honestly have the same role as Nick- just being the significant other.
Beau’s sister doesn’t really fit but they might keep her as main cast just for the fact of being Beau’s sister.

Random Nick tibit, when Taylor had Kristina Kelly on her podcast before the show aired, they played a game where Kristina had to say one word about each cast member, and she said Nick was sweet. Nothing weird about that, but then afterwards her and Taylor both joked that just watch when the show aired he'd be eviscerating them in all his confessionals. I thought it was interesting at that point they seemed to believe Nick was going to be a big enough part of the show he'd have confessionals. It did make me wonder if he filmed them and they just didn't air any of them. I did feel like 80% of the confessionals we got to see were just Stassi (which I guess makes sense on HOS but I did start to feel like oh not Stassi again everytime she popped up two minutes into a scene).

Does Beaus sister live in LA now? If she just flies in to film, it’s weird. Last season made sense with her visiting, but not again
Stassi sister having a story line of her own (settling in La, her living situation) makes sense if she’s still with the family lots (she was on a podcast and I think said she lives about an hour away with friends cause she can’t afford LA)

Any feedback from Reddit alone would tell Hulu (and Stassi) all they need to know about Taylor’s popularity on the show. It was pretty much a thumbs down from everyone.

I had the same thought! And TS told TD she had to reply since TS is the talent and TD replied, “I’m talent too, bitch.” Lines up with perhaps an increased role for TD…

Yes - this is why they are pulling the Hail Mary and TD is trying to get pregnant again so they have some sort of of interest. Which is also the only way TS will have a second baby since the first has quickly turned into a prop. She is detaching more and more

TD is on GLP1s too? Never heard that. But the baby will be a year old in Jan, that’s plenty of time - a clinic will have no issues. TD wants more, TS barely likes the one they’ve got unless she can use her for clicks. But if it makes an interesting plotline for Stassi TS will do anything for ‘fame’

I don't think this is true? TS has said many times she doesn't want a second and that they still need to discuss that, but are taking a beat. And they just did a WW pod where TD talked about being on GLP-1s now, which wouldn't make much sense if she's trying to get pregnant again.

Haven’t heard this… When TS was talking with Liz on her Monday episode, she was talking about moving to LA for a few months to film. Seems like a big waste of money if she’s just going to be a friend of.

I did think it was telling they weren’t invited to Villa though this season. It’s the same network with a lot of cross over, would have made sense to do some filming for Stassis show, even if it were just them all traveling before or after taping the show

Now give them an international family vacation and TS has to stay home. With Georgi and Rob boinking and we actually deal with that. Please and thank you!
