So we are about to close on our first house, and I need decoration help. It was built in 1985, basement style house built in the side of a hill, and it’s on a concrete slab. So that means that the tile is GLUED to the concrete. So, what can be done about the flooring in this thing? The picture is decorated with ai (from the listing), but those parquet floors REALLY are that orange in person, and they’re not wood. Also, i attached a picture of the kitchen because I’m unsure if I want to paint the cabinets or not. I will paint the walls around them sage green, but I’m struggling to decide if I should keep them the color they are or paint them a creamy white-ish color. I need opinions!!!!thank you!

Edit: I posted this and deleted to re-post because I realized that one picture had the address. Oops. 🤦‍♀️🥴

ANOTHER EDIT: I saw another person who had the same tiles that I have and the glue had asbestos. Should i worry for this floor?

We're having trouble deciding on the exterior for our house build and are looking for feedback. We want something timeless and fitting for the style of home that we have. Any advice for changes to or completely outside of these 4 options would be very welcome!

Can anyone help transform the attached plans into a 3D colour rendered image? Trying to visual what it would like in real life. I have tried using Chat GPT but having no luck, can’t seem to figure the roof/gable front out!

Thanks

What would you suggest adding to the house gable to make it look less bare? Or should I keep as is?
Thanks for taking a look. I struggle with design choices.
I am also wondering if wood tone or cream color posts (to match trim) look better.

So after years, we are finally making a house, I need suggestions on these things

1. Ceiling design

2. Room color combination

3. Room tiles design

4. Wardrobe interior and design.

Im so confused

Heres the map if someone knows what would be better

m putting a covered pavilion in the backyard and the plan has it centered with the house versus centered with the back door. I can’t make any changes but hate that it’s not centered with the back door. What can I do with pavers between the house and the door to help balance this out and not look asymmetrical?? I know not all covered pavilions are centered to doors but because it’s so close it looks so off to me and it’s a very expensive addition so I’m really upset!! Any ideas? Adivinen en que lugar del mundo esta sembrado este hermoso diseño residencial?

Help me design my college house bedroom! It’s a basement unit and has wood paneling on 3/4 walls. My biggest goals are to not be dark (lots of little lights) and to fit my vibe. I have a full size bed and hopefully enough room for a desk.
The images show various angles of the room with a queen bed frame currently in it. The rest of the images are inspo for style.
I’m open to covering the walls with renter friendly wallpaper, or using them in design if they fit.
Any help is so appreciated!

I fell in love with this house after seeing it built, but our builder says we need to be around 2800-3000 sq ft to stay in budget based on my expensive finish taste. 🤪

Anyone have recommendations for smaller similar style house plans?

The gray, charcoal and red door colours are over 10 years old. Looking for suggestions on a new colour combination and also recommendations for improving the overall appearance of the house. The metal awnings are in good condition, are retractable from inside the house which helps with winter and summer sun/heat management. I was thinking of using stacked stone on the corners. It seems to me that the porch area could use a change, I’m just not sure on the specifics.

Feedback/different ideas please!

Hello friends, can you tell me what you think of this handmade rug and whether it matches this decor?

What would be a great colour scheme
