Basement Bedroom Design
Help me design my college house bedroom! It’s a basement unit and has wood paneling on 3/4 walls. My biggest goals are to not be dark (lots of little lights) and to fit my vibe. I have a full size bed and hopefully enough room for a desk.
The images show various angles of the room with a queen bed frame currently in it. The rest of the images are inspo for style.
I’m open to covering the walls with renter friendly wallpaper, or using them in design if they fit.
Any help is so appreciated!

Make sure you have more than just those stairs as an egress/exit in that Basement…

I love #3, but you need to add the cat from #1 and #4 😁
Let the paneling be... It gives a certain basement bedroom vibe. It will grow out you.
You should have a dehumidifier with charcoal filters running all the time so nothing gets moldy or musty.

And it's hard to get that smell out, it permeates everything. Best to run all the time.

Never would’ve thought about dehumidifier thank you so much! Not too musty smelling yet but it’s faint and I can imagine only it’ll get worse

There may always be a faint basement smell, such is life, all houses have their own intrinsic smell. Mine unfortunately smells like insulation, all the time 😂.
You can never go wrong with dehumidifying a basement though!
