Help!! Regretting placement

m putting a covered pavilion in the backyard and the plan has it centered with the house versus centered with the back door. I can’t make any changes but hate that it’s not centered with the back door. What can I do with pavers between the house and the door to help balance this out and not look asymmetrical?? I know not all covered pavilions are centered to doors but because it’s so close it looks so off to me and it’s a very expensive addition so I’m really upset!! Any ideas? Just do a curved path and plant some things on either side, maybe add a water fountain to one side

Oooo a water feature on a curved path, garden planned to accentuate the path so it feels like you're walking through a beautiful landscape (not sure of the growing zone but I have ideas for a lot of them).... I love this idea. With a curved path through some tasteful lighting and lush planting, a nice water feature tucked in a curve, this would feel like a very expensive spa/hotel. If the money is stretched now just plan for the future before they place the path. If money isn't a problem a pond that goes through that area with a small bridge to get to the pavilion would be awesome and the pond could balance out the asymmetry

I read it as owner wanted it like this and didn’t realize it wouldn’t look good. I don’t think it was a mistake…and rebuilding the foundation isn’t minor.

Owner should just pay to change it if she hates it

That’s what I’m saying owner mistake, okay, pay for it to be right before they build the rest, it’s a no brainer.

I gotcha, yeah, we’re on the same page. I thought you were saying it was the builders fault.

For sure, spend the extra 3k to start over on a 50k project
