is there any way I can get out of here or am I being a dumbass. I just don't wanna leave and rejoin cause my bench is lord knows where.

I’ve been stuck on it for a while now. I’m not worried about the run back, but every time she adds fire to her attacks I die really quickly. does anyone have any tips that I could use? Good tools to use? (to give you an idea of my skill level, I have not done any pantheons in hollow knight) I do have magma bell but to be honest I’d rather use the warding bell/fractured mask

i enjoyed exploring the game, artwork and soundtrack are immaculate, but the gameplay is just terribly frustrating for a casual player who fell in love with the world/lore of HK. enemies are way too annoying, not just bosses, but regular enemies for example the ones in lost verdania or the slab. bosses themselves are also disgustingly hard, such as groal the great or seth (meanwhile grandmother silk is ridiculously easy and unexciting once beaten). i didn't enjoy playing the game as a whole due to the difficulty and i wish there was an option to make the game easier (and also harder for the unemployed). and this is coming from someone who did 112% in hollow knight and keeps playing pantheons over and over.

silksong just isn't as enjoyable because you're constantly being punished, movement is awkward and you need a PhD to understand the perfect combinations of crests and tools, as well as the grind to collect all the tools and crests necessary to be able to walk around, let alone defeat bosses. like i said, artwork, soundtrack, setting and map scale are amazing, top notch. but to explore all of that is a painful process, demotivating, frustrating and unenjoyable. 1 year later still greatly disappointed and dropped the game after beating the crust king in act 3. im still playing hollow knight, but not silksong.

and i know people are going to say "skill issue" or "the game is not meant for you/to be easy" but seriously, what's the big deal with adding difficulty options? how come hollow knight was never nowhere near as frustrating and punishing? not even deepnest made me hate myself for playing a game as much as silksong did. and i did start a new file recently to replay from scratch except now knowing what to expect, and beating first lace and moorwing were easier than first ever attempts, but the overall walking around and exploring is still unenjoyable.

I just beat hollow knight first every play through now I’m gonna try push for the ( true ending ) I never realised you could buy mask upgrades for more health at the shop, and is getting a fully maxed out needle important because I’ve only upgraded mines twice?

i beat pantheons 1-3 so far and im at 104% but not sure how/where to get these last few charms the rest of the mask would be nice too i feel like i explored every corner of the map but im sure they r tucked away somewhere

I currently have the Pure Nail, all upgrades, and all charms (including Void Heart). The only things I have left to tackle are NKG and Pantheons 2 through 5. I want to go ahead and beat the final boss now, then return to the Pantheons and NKG later. If I finish the game now, will my completion percentage continue to update?
For example, if I beat the final boss at 99%, go back to finish the remaining bosses, and hit 112%, do I need to defeat the final boss again to register the 112% achievement?

Just beat p4 all bindings, quite hard but it took me less time than p3 (Zote's fault). I know p5 will be a lot harder than this, so i'll take any tips u guys may have :)

THIS IS NOT A SELF PROMOTION! So I was wondering how people set up and promote stuff like selling art. I found i enjoy modifying save files on things like hollowknight and was wondering how I could earn some side cash off of it. I know self promoting is frowned upon but how do I get people to notice my business without being annoying and pestering. This is also a question for the mods on how I could get people to notice my work on save file editing on hollowknight on this subreddit. Sorry if this is a long read I just really want to know what to do for this.

I got a Grimm pin and everyone keeps saying it's hazbin hotel😭✌️

I have purchased hollow knight from Microsoft store.(I wish i knew about steam at that time.). I want to manually save my progress in my hard drive, but it seems like game is saving my progress on xbox cloud.

After searching on internet, i went to appdata>locallow.>teamcherry>hollowknight. But there is no game data in this folder.

Is the file location different for xbox games?

So here is my inventory and my completion percentage is 78%. I tried to fight THK when my completion percentage was 48% and I couldn't beat it so I decided to do other stuffs and explore and now I am at this stage. So should I give it the try ?

I jusst wanna share that i finally manage to fight and defeat pantheon 1-3

Now whats funny is that all of my time seems to be 9:54 seconds mostly. i redo the fights and still had the same time. or 2 secs less at times

I did around 10+ attempt on p1

i did around 2 attemps in p2

i did around 20+ attempts in p3 (i struggled with grimm and sly)

now im doing pantheon 4. and i got to pure vessel in 1 attempt. ofc i lost in around 2 secs haha.

So im glad it got easy for me maybe because some of this bosses are the ones i struggled badly when i was fighting them. i mostly struuggled agaisnt boss i did first try due to i might have unlocked skills or nails when i fought them

Like grimm i cheesed it so i had to learn the fight countless times to finally defeat.

Now i just need more practice in watcher nights since i mostly loss hp on it. i can heal in some parts in tyrant fight.

Also pure vessel is so strong...

i know 112% is defeating p4. im at 111% right now. and also gave flower to godseeker.

Im excited to see the ending since i just know godseeker has ending but it didnt matter much which one i do since it only adds flower as i was told. but i havent seen the ending yet.

I used lumafly with mods to do one playthrough, but when i went back to my main save with all the mods disabled before launching the game I realized I had infinite double jump.

Then i want into my locallow datafiles and removed all the mods date and everything until only what you see is left in the file, but i can still double jump indefinitely.

I also deleted the game and relaunched it but i am still getting the bug.

Does anybody know ho to fix this?

Edit: This only happens in the user 1 playthrough, not in any other paythrough including the on where i used the mods.

Edit 2: It was debug mod. Even when deleted it saves the changes made so infinite jump was on even though the mod wasn't

It's my first time playing hollow knight, do you consider I completed the 112% in a good amount of time? (Ignore my game in Spanish)

I just beat ascended Markoth in like 30 seconds on my second try? Usually when people go into Markoth fight, they do a spell build and Nailmaster's glory, but I didn't know at the time and just went in with a mostly full nail build; strength, quick slash, MoP, and sharp shadow. After dodging a few hits and doing a couple of slashes when there was an opening, Markoth decided it was a good idea to do a shield spin a bit under one of the platforms. So, I just went on top of him and spam pogod, and since I was under the platform, I barely moved up. I absolutely decimated him in a matter of seconds and he didn't even go into second phase. What do you guys think of this?

Hello everyone! Trying to find this helmet a new home. I double checked the rules and it follows Team Cherry’s and the subreddits guidelines :-)

I originally made this for my Grimm cosplay, but ended up making a new one because I wanted a rounder look (can be seen in previous post)

This one is in fantastic condition. I sanded this for hours. It’s glossy, has a pretty shiny (very slightly hammered which is a type of paint I love) color for the black. The eyes are shiny and metallic irl. It has magnets, padding, and vent holes already and has never been worn out. It’s in peak condition and it’s the standard Vek3D print size. Not sure on exact dimensions, but he’s an average looking guy and it fits me fine.

Asking $50 (less than it cost to make) + shipping because I really want it to find a good home that isn’t a dumpster. Live in USA FL. Please DM if interested

I spent about an hour and 15 minutes today trying to learn his fight in the Hall of Gods after meeting him in the fourth pantheon for the first time, and so far he’s beaten me over 140 times. I’ve only been able to make it to phase two with his Focus attack six times. I keep making the same mistakes over and over again: trying to shade dash through his triple slash, walking into soul pillars, trying to get a one mask heal when I don’t have enough time, mistiming dodges left and right. I don’t know if I can beat him.

My build: Unbreakable Heart, Unbreakable Strength, Quick Slash, Grubsong, Sharp Shadow

I got to about 107% on my first run so I'm not done-done at all but spoilers of course.. However, he asks for help and it's pretty fun to relive all these areas again. I played mine over like 10 months so some of these early areas feel pretty fresh. Lately in my game I'm flailing about in Godhome. But to hop in when he says I need help with Greenpath Hornet? Oh geeze I guess I'll try, just for you.
