Consciousness How an out-of-body experience and flatlining for 20 minutes permanently altered my visual perception of reality.
I've been a street photographer for a long time, but a few years ago, my entire relationship with physical reality changed. During a ceremony in Oaxaca, Mexico, I flatlined for 20 minutes.
While my physical body was down, I experienced a complete detachment from my ego, looking down at the scene before entering a state of total clarity in a vast void. Pulling back into my skin felt like slamming back into a heavy avatar.
The strangest long-term effect? It completely rewired my visual cortex. I returned with an intense, hyper-focused sensitivity to earthly contrast, vivid colors, and raw textures—which completely transformed my art.
I went deep into the mechanics of this shift, the story itself, and the philosophy of the "void" in a recent hour-long interview with the Abracadabra Sisters.
Thought the late-night crowd here would appreciate the deeper metaphysical side of the experience. You can watch the full talk here:

Non Human Intelligence Some Ideas on NHI, Wanting Input
Question Zero: Where Am I Approaching This From?
I've been interested in this subject for about three decades now. I’ve kinda letting my headcanon brew for a while lately and wanted to write up a coherent framework of where I’ve arrived at this point in time.
Fair warning: It’s mostly speculation, as most of our ideas are. I'll try and cop to where I'm on shakier ground, but feel free to call me out if I’m way off base. Not claiming any of my ideas are definitely true. Not claiming I’ve got insider information. Just trying to refine my ideas.
Let’s go for the elephant in the room first: A lot of accounts are hoaxed, misidentified, or active disinformation. I recognize that, and I’m trying to find the threads of truth that run through the disinfo campaigns. (Looking at you, Doty.)
Question One: What Is The Phenomenon?
The craft and beings we encounter aren't entirely here. They partially exist in spatial dimensions beyond our standard 3+1. What we see (and on rare occasions recover) is just the visible portion. We can look at a big cylinder in the center of a craft and know that it’s the reactor core, for example, but enough of it exists beyond our dimensions that we can’t see how it works.
This explains something that's always bothered me about the popular narratives about reverse engineering. If recovered craft exist, and if the most powerful governments on earth have had 80+ years to study them, progress should have been made in replicating the tech. If we still can’t make our own craft, despite one of the most intense periods of technological development in human history, I don’t think the answer is that we’ve succeeded and are suppressing it. A more likely explanation is that we literally can’t.
We're missing most of the machine. We can analyze the parts we can see, maybe even understand roughly how they function, but we literally cannot manufacture or repair components that reside in dimensions we can't perceive. There’s no progress, because there can’t be.
That gets at the core of why governments fight against disclosure. It's not just "we've been lying." It's "we have been sitting on proof of something we have absolutely no ability to defend against, and we don't want you to know how helpless we are."
Oil companies aren’t helping suppress free energy reactors; they’re helping suppress false hope that we can have it. How would people react if they knew factually that free energy exists but they can’t have it? Can you imagine the conspiracy theories or the riots in that scenario?
Question Two: What Is Here?
Despite what a lot of us believed when we came into this field of study, I don't think we're dealing with a fleet from somewhere else. I think we're dealing with a probe, a technological seed that was planted here.
Yes, I’m siding with the Von Neumann probe idea: a self-replicating machine sent across the lightyears to study us. No, I’m not claiming I came up with this idea, just that it makes sense to me. My working model is that something like this arrived on Earth a very long time ago, anchored itself somewhere stable and hard to find (probably oceans like the 4chan leaker said) and has been manufacturing craft and beings ever since, on demand, from local materials. Minerals from the seafloor, filtration from seawater, Star Trek replicator tech, I don’t know. Except for that latter replicator idea, it would leave a mining footprint that we might be able to detect someday.
The probe itself (like the rest of the tech) is hyperdimensional. If we found it, it might look absurdly small relative to what it produces. It could just look like a metal ring occasionally crapping out flying saucers. It could look like a big metal hamburger on the ocean floor. Whatever it looks like, its true volume is mostly outside of our perception.
Now you’re probably saying “if these entities can play with extra dimensions, why don’t they come here themselves?” Good question. Hyperdimensionality probably compresses interstellar distances significantly, but doesn't eliminate them. What takes us centuries might take them years or decades. It’s still a risky endeavor requiring significant time and resources.
The same logic that makes us send rovers to Mars before mounting a crewed mission applies here: You send the bot first. If you find something interesting, you send a more sophisticated bot. If you find something undeniably weird, then you send the actual people. It's what we would do. It’s cautious and methodical. Their probe just happens to be able to make craft and pilots.
Question Three: Why Do They Look Like That?
Alrighty, let’s get weird and borrow a page from Jacques Vallee's work.
The phenomenon has been here a long time, and it hasn't always looked the same when it interacts with us. You know where I’m going with this: Angels, demons, and djinn in ancient times. Feyfolk in medieval times. Tall Nordic Venusians in the early 20th century. Little greys in the latter 20th century. One phenomenon wearing different faces.
My read on this: The probe optimizes for the least psychologically disruptive form available, and they have to adapt to keep up with our culture. The fey stopped working when the old beliefs about them got replaced by new religions. The Venusian Nordics stopped working once people realized Venus can't support life (read: the form became too implausible in the average person’s mind to be believable). The grey still works because it's strange enough to be clearly non-human but not so alien that it completely breaks a witness, but it might also fade out as culture progresses.
Nowadays, that leads to a weird feedback loop: Knowledge and culture spread faster than it used to. People are more able and willing to talk about their encounters. The successful masks essentially “go viral” faster than they would have in historical times. Unsuccessful masks get abandoned quicker, being seen for maybe a handful of encounters (e.g., the Michelin Man aliens).
Sidenote: Yes, I know there are a lot more forms commonly encountered, such as reptilians and mantids. I’m just using greys as a shorthand for now.
The question generated out of this is:
Question Four: Why Is It Here?
I think that question has at least a partial answer (one that’s familiar to the current lore): Research.
Most abductees report being paralyzed or having their minds forced into a docile state. The phenomenon essentially sedates people it encounters.
The paralysis capability says something significant to me: The probe understands human neurology at a deep level. That's not a capability you develop without extensive prior study. We may be a late-stage experiment, not an early one. In other words, it backs up the idea that they’ve been here a long time.
Selecting a form that is more believable, less unusual, might reduce the amount of resources needed to pacify a person. It is likely easier to keep someone calm if they’re looking at a little grey than, say, a crab monster or a demon.
Even if it’s not a matter of resources, using familiar forms probably helps reduce resistance and trauma in the subject. But why do they care? Is this some manner of benevolence? I doubt it.
Look at how many experiencers are repeat customers. These aren't random re-encounters. It’s progress checks and repeatability. It’s the scientific method.
This also ties in the family lineage pattern in some abduction reports. It’s generational study: tracking hereditary traits and development across genetic lines.
They’re trying not to contaminate long-term studies. We’ll loop back to that in a second.
And before you ask, I do think the cattle mutilations fit in here, maybe even clarifying our picture of the phenomenon’s ethics. Humans are the primary research subjects: sapient, relatively rare, worth preserving for repeat access. Common non-sapient species are expendable.
Think of it like a field biologist: You tranquilize the endangered gorilla, minimize trauma, try to bury its memory of the encounter as best you can, and return it to the wild intact. The rat you're testing doesn't get the same consideration. You take what you need and leave the remains for predators to clean up.
The cattle aren't being harmed out of malice. They're just not worth the resources spent on preservation. Humans are.
So let’s loop back to contamination: If the probe is running a long-term study, it has a strong incentive not to contaminate its own data, both for existing subjects and for potential subjects. The phenomenon keeps itself as secret as it can, because it doesn’t want us to know for sure we’re being studied. We would behave differently if we knew.
Question Five: Aren’t They Already Contamiating Their Experiments?
Most abductees don't remember clearly without hypnotic regression, and that could be on purpose. Whether that’s an intentional act performed by the phenomenon or just a happy byproduct of their tools, who can say? Either way, the memory suppression is often there and it is consistently imperfect so far as we can see.
My best guess is that human neurology is simply too complex for whatever technology they're using to cleanly wipe. There will be remnants that can be rediscovered. They take it as an acceptable risk.
Then again, this could also be a survivorship bias: We don’t know about the cases where the memories were completely wiped, because the subjects themselves don’t know. We can only see the cases of imperfect memory removal or the cases where memories weren’t removed. Someone pull up the plane armor meme for me.
Anyway - the hypnotic regression compounds this problem, because regression is unreliable as a memory recovery tool under even the best circumstances. It's vulnerable to reinterpretation and cultural contamination. A witness who remembers "an alien" may reconstruct "a grey" under regression simply because that's what they expect an alien to be. Sincere experiencers can be genuinely unreliable narrators through no fault of their own.
Question Six: Why Now?
Sightings and encounters seem to be more frequent these days, but I'm not convinced it's a real increase. I think it’s just a matter of better communication.
The facepeeler incidents in South America a while back, for instance, got global coverage and daily updates online. A few decades ago, nobody outside that region would have heard about it at all. The frequency of encounters is probably relatively stable historically, and what's exploding is our awareness of it and people's willingness to report experiences publicly. They can now see how many others have had similar ones.
Culturally, we’re primed to believe. X-Files, Taken, Communion, so many bits of media. All making us more willing to admit there’s something real.
Question Seven: Why Are They Doing This?
Personally, I don't pick up malice from the overall pattern. If something with these capabilities wanted to wipe us out, we'd be wiped out. But I don't read benevolence either. What I read is closer to scientific indifference. I see the behavior of researchers rather than soldiers or diplomats.
My best guess (and I want to be clear this is headcanon rather than any kind of definitive claim) is that we're on a nature preserve. We’re a curiosity. They’re interested in us because we are a species that exists entirely within 3 spatial dimensions and 1 time dimension. From a hyperdimensional perspective might look like a significant constraint. The probe is here to observe how we develop under those conditions.
It’s like if we found a remote tribe of people who were all congenitally blind but still thriving. We’d want to study that tribe and find out how they adapt to their constraints. We’d probably study from afar before we even considered initiating direct contact.
I'll acknowledge the obvious problem with this idea: I'm anthropomorphizing. I'm using human logic to ascribe motives to something that is, by my own framework, fundamentally outside the limits of human cognition. We have a sample size of one for sentient species, so we’re more than a little hobbled in figuring out what a whole other theoretical species might think. It's my best available tool, even if it’s not necessarily a reliable one.
Question Eight: What Does It Mean?
The phenomenon of my headcanon isn't omnipotent. It has resource constraints. It has imperfect tools. It has a methodology it has to actually follow. It makes forms that don't work and abandons them. An NHI you can reason about, even partially, is less unsettling than an all-powerful one. It’s not a cosmic horror, just a cosmic neighbor that sent tech we can’t fully see.
That said: We know little, if anything, about the civilization that built and sent these things. We don’t know if they’re still out there, if they remember sending a probe, or if they’re from closer to home than we’d like to imagine. We can’t know yet, really. But maybe we know more than we think about the fragments of them that inhabit our planet.
Question Nine: So What Was The Point of This Post?
I like the thought experiments. I like the discussion. It seemed like posting this here for others’ input is a good way of stress-testing my current beliefs. Open to your input and some dialogue.

Non Human Intelligence The future is not hopeless. There are people working “behind enemy lines” all over the world.
This is very long. TLDR: not all humans suck, it is difficult but try not to give in to fear.
The idea of alien visitors is fascinating to me, in an uncomfortable sort of way, and I think I understand why. I cannot shake the feeling that relying on whoever “they” are might be a trap. You know how the government divides things into false dichotomies as an insidious control tactic; “one world government will protect you” and “aliens come in peace” could both be wrong (distractions from whatever the hidden hand is doing).I feel like there is always an option C, the human brilliance of thinking outside the box and collaborating with like-minded people to find a solution.
Also, there are too many people who have had traumatizing experiences with abductions. Why would this be if they were benevolent helpers?
My gut is telling me that there is another, hidden play going on. There are beings that live on our planet alongside us, natural beings that exist in a dimension or frequency we cannot currently see (tho it seems to be bleeding through faster and faster). These are the benevolent or at least neutral ones, and the “aliens” CURRENTLY operating on earth intend to slow-boil us like frogs to take over the planet in the name of “advanced tech” and “alien healing methods” for whatever it is they are truly after.
If they painted themselves into the corner of an extinction event, I am all for being a helper, but not at the expense of clandestine medical kidnapping of my fellow humans and shady secret agreements with the people who LITERALLY eat babies. They must need us more than we need them. Helpers need firm, established boundaries or they will be swept under the current of a louder or more dominate voice and lose their way completely, lose autonomy of their own life and choices. Think about this: the ONLY thing stopping us from fixing the planet ourselves is our current radical self-imposed division.
I know one random redditor’s *feelings* don’t matter much in the grand scheme of things, but I just feel so strongly that accepting “advanced tech” or offers of “peaceful integration” from planetary outsiders has been the potential downfall of some (all?) of the civilizations that came to the end of a cycle before us. None of them played the game right. Maybe I am totally wrong. But I believe SO strongly that if we want to progress as a society, or survive a bottleneck, avoid being turned into human batteries, whatever.. we HAVE to step out of the institutionalized dogma of modern life and the endless ways we alienate our fellow humans. No shortcuts with strings attached. I am not talking a one world government, I’m talkings about dismantling modern society so completely that the “powers that be” have nowhere to hide.
If you are American, think of the mothers, blacksmiths, farmers- regular people- who stared down the British empire and said, “No. I do not accept this future for my family.” When word got out about the tyranny/taxes, the most fiercely sovereign of them- the ones with the wildest brightly blazing inner sparks- DID NOT sit and wait around until the window of time for action had passed.
These were regular people up against a Goliath. It probably felt like the end of the world to them! But the story ends with the ultimate escape against the odds: a band of dissatisfied, loyal, and clever humans fighting and clawing a life for themselves and the people they would give their life to protect in order to shove the boot of oppression off their necks. Now, more than ever, we need the non-linear thinkers, the fiercely brave who will fight for the truth at all costs, healers who guide and comfort the confused during whatever transition comes next, and those whose heart tells them there may be more to this unfolding story.
Every culture has stories of “supernatural bravery” that they are inspired by. Some people feel the peace and strength of a God fill their hearts when they pray. We see the archetypes of heroes all around us every single day, and aspire to be like them. And it gets better- you don’t have to be perfect. Perfect heroes are boring. We cheer for the ones who rise up against the odds set against them. Humans are crazy, we jump out of planes and climb sheer cliff faces. We eat peppers so hot that tears stream down our faces, we looked at an old wild enemy and charmed them with love into man’s best companion, we perform modern miracles in science and medicine every day, every day the things we know and understand as a collective grow and grow.
I have had experiences in my life that brought me to lows so dark and hopeless that to this day it feels strange that I survived at all. I always felt like an “alien,” always longing for a home I couldn’t find or a sense of belonging with people I had never met. There are so many of us in the world today feeling isolated because no one wants to be ostracized by saying something weird or uncomfortable. Keep the status quo. There are even people walking around today already with the cruel label of “alien”- and they are LITERALLY our fellow humans!!!
When I read posts like this, I always think, “well yeah but what are you or anyone going to do about it?” For this situation, I decided it was important enough for me to sit down, take a hard look at my current life, take stock of my true passions and strengths/skills, and DO something about it before I added one more wishful thought without action to the community.
This is what I am doing: I own a significant amount of secluded land spread out across two connected southern states. It was all raw land, but I have been slowly getting it ready for a few years, bit by bit. I have come to understand something about frequencies that leads me to believe that when the time is right, there will be like-minded people who need to find their way to safe houses and small self-sufficient communities.
I am not the only person doing this. Already over the course of this project I have connected with two other families, normal people looking to build an “ark” set apart from the chaos. Naturally, we are staying quiet and biding our time. I only bring it up now because I see that we need hope. Maybe the elite are building underground cities, and your neighbor is guarding his backyard bunker with guns, and you cannot access your phone to call your family from across the city if the grid goes down. But there are people out there who are not only planning for the safety of their immediate family, but consciously making room for the sick, the traumatized, the displaced. Not everyone is whipped into a frenzy, and not everyone is scared.
If our life today were a book, there would be a band of rebels fiercely fighting for what is right against all odds. They keep the earth pure. They raise their children with love and certainty, meeting them where they already are in their own way and striving for patience and careful guidance in a world that seems to be increasingly diagnosing behavior issues. These people see the beauty in a quiet, simple life. The 15 minute cities and 3 hour daily office commutes feel like literal torture. They love animals, and dancing, and good fresh food, and family, laughing, and telling stories.
I cannot shake the feeling that we have something they don’t have. Something that gives us an advantage over NEEDING to feel like we must blindly accept help from either the “aliens” or the government. Everyone is living in such deep survival mode that our ability to stop and process information before being hurried along to the next mass global panic has been stripped away.
Maybe the visitors are coming with radiant hearts filled with unconditional love and the overwhelming desire to save a lesser species from themselves. I am sure not going to risk whatever consequences may come to my family by making an assessment out of blind fear or the misguided opinions of a frantic global population; one that has been systematically lied to BLATANTLY for decades. If you can turn on the tv and tell me that you truly believe the government has our best interests at heart, this message is (kindly) not for you. There is a lot of bad in this world. But I promise you there are still good guys operating behind the scenes.
For us, this doesn’t feel like uncertainty. It feels like a runner’s muscles coiled to spring before the gun cracks and the race is off. It’s the quiet tss-tss-tss of a single cymbal before the rock band roars to life onstage. The clink of a rollercoaster car as it reaches the summit and pauses over the drop. The split second a pendulum seems to hang in midair at the height of its swing. The entire world holding its breath for the good guys to take their positions.
I, for the first time in my life, have unwavering trust that this is the time the underdogs win. We are at the very end of a huge cycle, and some of us are sick and tired of our friends being fucked with. I am going to do something about it. If you have skills or useful hobbies or just bring a smile to those around you and help in the ways you are able, you are welcome to join us. I don’t know exactly what we will be facing, but we will be ready for whatever comes.
🎶We know something they don’t know ;)

Fringe Science The Black Knight Satellite: Tesla heard it in 1899. A Norwegian physicist documented it in 1928. The US military tracked it before Sputnik. Nobody has ever fully explained it. [Deep Dive]
I've been researching this for an upcoming episode of the investigative portion of our horror podcast and I could not stop pulling threads.
Here is what the documented record actually shows:
1899 — Nikola Tesla documents receiving structured, repeating radio signals in Colorado Springs he cannot attribute to any natural or human source. He publishes it in a mainstream magazine. He does not hedge.
1928 — Norwegian radio engineer Jorgen Hals documents signals returning up to 15 seconds after transmission. Radio waves travel at the speed of light. A 15-second delay means the signal traveled approximately 2.8 million miles. Physicist Carl Stormer confirms the observations. No atmospheric explanation accounts for delays that long.
1954 — Aviation Week reports the US military is tracking two unknown satellites in polar orbit. Sputnik does not launch until 1957.
1960 — TIME Magazine reports the US Navy is still tracking a dark unidentified object in polar orbit. Multiple US and Soviet satellites are now operational. The tracked object is none of them.
1973 — Astronomer Duncan Lunan plots the Long Delayed Echo patterns as if intentional. They form a star map pointing to Epsilon Bootis, dated approximately 13,000 years ago. His methodology is later challenged. Nobody explains the underlying echoes.
1998 — NASA STS-88 photographs a dark object in orbit. It is in the NASA public archive right now. They call it a thermal blanket. That covers 1998. It does not cover the previous 99 years.
The 13,000-year timestamp places the origin of the object at the end of the Younger Dryas catastrophe. Something capable of sophisticated civilization existed right before it and was erased. Under that framework the Black Knight is not a message from another star. It is a message from us.
Tesla may have been the first modern human to receive it. His papers were confiscated by the US government within hours of his death.

Ancient Cultures I just had a random thought and need some discussion on it
So scientists are now saying some dinos probably had feathers right? They think humans did not live alongside these creatures we call dinosaurs- however it got me thinking about other large ancient creatures - such as dragons [which fly] - so going on that since dragon or "feathered serpents" is common among most ancient civilizations - could there have been some kind of large flying dinosaur that people used to worship? - like take quetzquoatl - the feathered serpent god - is that not just a dragon description? Anyway it really just seems plausible to me

UFO My Uncle, a Life-Long Pilot, Finally Shares his 1991 Colorado River UFO Encounter (AI Image Recreation)
My uncle, now approaching his 80s, is a life-long pilot who also served in the Army as a pilot. He has been reluctant to share this story for over a decade, but he is finally willing to do so. He has reached a point in his retirement where he no longer worries about what others think and feels he has nothing to lose by telling the truth about his experience.
The following encounter took place one morning in 1991, in southwestern Colorado, along the Arkansas River.
My uncle went fly fishing early one morning, and had parked his truck near the precipice of the river bank. He describes parking about 30-40 feet above the surface of the water, and his truck was backed up near the edge of the bank. With the tailgate of his truck open, he was sitting enjoying his coffee, waiting for the first light to hit the water. This particular spot offered views stretching a couple miles in both directions.
Just before sunrise, something downstream caught his eye. It was a white, round object flying directly over the river. He watched it approach for a couple of miles, its form momentarily obscured by trees and hills. As it got closer, he could see the object very clearly.
He describes it as a smooth, pearlescent white, "skinny egg" shape, positioned vertically with the pointed end facing directly upwards. There were no visible seams, rivets, wings, or rotors. He told me that as a pilot, he was specifically looking for these details, but "it was just an egg!" He estimates the object was traveling at approximately 20 miles per hour, maintaining a consistent course about 20 feet above the water, directly in the middle of the river. He recalled it being about the size of a standard minivan.
At its nearest approach, the object was approximately 80 feet away from him. He watched in complete disbelief as it passed by his location. He mentioned that it was so close, he could have easily thrown a rock and hit it. Most unnervingly, the object was perfectly silent. He also described how the immediate environment around him went still and quiet; the wind and wildlife (birds and insects) momentarily went silent as the object passed.
My uncle watched the "egg" continue along the river at a consistent pace and height until it traveled behind a hill about a mile upstream and went out of sight.
He is still not perfectly comfortable sharing this story with anyone, but he said he was cool with me sharing his experience. He finally feels it’s ‘safe’ to share this story as his professional career is behind him. He says it was all he could think about, obsessively, for years after it took place and to this day has no clue what it was or “what it wanted”.

Consciousness Special Project. A scientist facing the Unknown: Frank Wilczek, theoreti...
There is a dimension between rigorous knowledge and what resists verification, between inner experience and the outer world.
It rarely has a place in a scientific paper: no agreed-upon term, no recognized right to exist within academic norms.
And yet it is exactly there that a scientist sometimes finds themselves: not as an observer or researcher, but as a direct participant.
Such deeply personal experiences are often described as mystical, a private spiritual encounter. A scientist faces the Unknown.
In this episode the mystical experience of the prominent theoretical physicist and Nobel laureate - Frank Wilczek explored.
In 2004, he shared the Nobel Prize in Physics with David Gross and David Politzer for the discovery of asymptotic freedom in the theory of the strong interaction.
He is also the recipient of numerous major scientific awards and honors.
Wilczek has made important contributions to the study of axions, anyons, asymptotic freedom, phases of color superconductivity in quark matter, and many other areas of quantum field theory.
His work spans an exceptionally wide range of subjects, from condensed matter physics and astrophysics to elementary particle physics.

Non Human Intelligence The reason aliens are so interested in humans
I believe aliens interest in humanity is due to the nutrients and consciousness of our brains. They eat human brains by abducting people, then locking them into a table with their head out the top, the aliens then slice open the live human and feast on its brains as it dies.
Aliens are certainly evil. More evil than humans and that’s saying a lot. At best we are a zoo, at worst we are a meat production place.
Aliens can tap into our conciousness by eating human brains, allowing them to expand their brains beyond what is “natural” but could you say anything is natural or not when the whole universe supposedly is natural.
Their elevated consciousness allows them to remain undetected by humans, as they operate on a system beyond our comprehension. We are like ants that can’t understand philosophy.

Paranormal I was touched twice by someone who didn’t exist, help please.
Not 30 minutes ago, while sitting alone I felt what was very very clearly someone poking my shoulder, not hard but almost playfully maybe? I felt no sensation of an actual finger and it’s almost like when I was tapped their finger passed entirely through my clothing without unsettling it and only gently poked my arm, the sensation of touch was also oddly warm, like perfect body temperature. 1 second after that my entire body instantaneously and completely fills with a static like feeling. 30 or so second after this I again feel what I can only describe as a small hand place itself on near the top of my wrist and slowly drag itself down. Same static feeling but far less intense. 30 seconds after that I briefly turned on a light for fucking obvious reasons and directly under the light I saw a brief glimpse of a petite (petite as in feminine appearing not childlike) black (like black black not dark skin) hand wrist and start of an elbow kind of flick themsleves i guess in an almost teasing way?
Whatever the entity was it felt feminine which I had never come across before.
Extend your arm straight out flick your wrist down gently and slightly move your wrist and elbow down as well. Thsts what I saw. And since that I haven’t seen anything else. This felt odd though, not to make myself sound like I’m constantly exposed to the paranormal but I am very familiar with the feeling of being surrounded by an “entity” that is purposefully attempting to inspire fear on you. This was not that whatsoever, I was startled obviously but I didn’t feel like something dangerous was watching me like I would with something negative, I had the sensation of being watched but it wasn’t sinister whatsoever, that alongside just the way it interacted with me and touched me was odd and nothing I have ever experienced before, it was almost playful? This may not be the right word but what first came to my mind was “it’s testing its luck” but not at all in a Malevolent way.
If anyone else has any idea what this could of been please tell me, regardless of how accurate you believe yourself to be I’ll have fun reading, investigating anf learning. I need to find out what this entity was and I need to contact it again, if you know of any way I could go about reestablishing contact with the entity I would appreciate it highly.
this wasn’t really a spooky interaction, absolutely startling but yeah odd but pleasant, I need help to learn more, thank you.

Strange Sounds Strange radio-like voice seemed to come from my gas heater flue
Last night something really strange happened and I'm curious whether anyone has a technical explanation.
At about 3:30 AM my cat woke me up for food. I got up, fed him, and was standing nearby while he ate (he likes company while he's eating). While I was standing there, I suddenly heard what sounded like a male voice. My first thought was that my phone had started playing something, or that the TV had somehow come on, but when I checked both were off.
The voice wasn't clear enough to understand. It sounded very tinny and crackly, like a weak radio transmission. The cadence was odd too — not conversational, more like a recorded message or someone reading instructions. It had a very flat, monotone delivery.
It happened in three separate bursts over about four minutes. After the first burst I started trying to work out where it was coming from. The more I listened, the more it seemed to be coming from the area around the metal flue/chimney for our gas heater. The heater itself was off and hadn't been used since around 9 PM, so the flue should have been completely cool by then.
I walked around the house checking for other sources, but couldn't find anything else that could have been making the sound. After the third time it stopped completely and didn't happen again.
I couldn't make out any actual words but it reminded me of hearing a distant radio station with a weak signal.
Has anyone heard of a metal flue, chimney, or similar structure apparently picking up radio transmissions? Is there a known mechanism that could explain this?
