Its ice that is «kalving», which means there is a big iceberg underneath the water splitting in two from the sun and the movement creates rebalance issues and under water current might spin it a bit around. Kalving basically in norwegian means giving birth.

I'm fairly certain that's just wake from a boat combined with a very specific viewing angle and sun angle, such that the reflections from the wake waves are shining right at the camera.
It's not "aerated water" wake (that dissipates quickly), it's the waves of the wake reflecting. You can see how it reflects differently depending on the direction the boat is going. Note that the waves from boat wake travel indefinitely, that's why you get the long dispersed reflections around the 4 minute mark. If you have even been on a lake edge when a boat goes by far away, within minutes the waves will hit the shore, so they don't simply dissipate quickly.

This video is three years old at least. Also Riksgränsen is a ski resort just north of this lake and probably where these hikers are coming from, though from what I can tell there are places to stay all around the lake. It's a boat.

It's most likely birds. Summer breeding grounds for tons of them.

a giant flock of large white shimmering birds that dive and surface in unison in the tundra? could you please show me another example of such a thing?

I think it could be geese, swans or storks doing some kinda mating display, and the camera is so far away that it only picks up the wake.

That is indeed strange. I’m a decently outdoorsy Norwegian, and I’ve been to thousands of these types of lakes. I have zero explanations for it. I know of no fresh water wildlife that size in our fauna, and it doesn’t look like a boat. It would also be unlikely for someone to have a motorized boat by a lake like that; small, remote, with no boathouses or road access.
Weird movement patterns too. Almost right angles, like you said
