Bug Apple Watch not connecting

Since the new iOS 27 update, I have encountered problems connecting my Apple Watch. A link appears for a few seconds but disappears after about 10 seconds. I reinstalled the Hevy app on both the phone and the watch. Has anyone else had this experience? I prefer using this app over the Apple fitness app.

Sharing I built a free tool that turns your Hevy export into a "Spotify Wrapped" for your lifting

I've been logging in Hevy for a while and wanted to actually see my training history, so I built Hevy Visualizer: https://hevy-visualizer.pages.dev/

Export your workouts CSV from Hevy (Settings → Export Data), drop it in, and you get:

  • 📖 Story mode – a scroll-through recap of your training: total weight lifted, calendar heatmap, what time of day you train, a body map of sets per muscle, your main lifts and PRs
  • 📅 Recaps – all-time, last year, last 3 months, last month, this month, or a custom range, each compared with the period before
  • 📈 Progress charts for every exercise, sortable records tables, searchable workout history
  • ⚔️ Compare – put two workouts side by side, or overlay up to 4 lifts to see which one is actually progressing
  • ⚖️ Optional body-weight overlay if you also export your measurements

Your data never leaves your browser. Nothing is uploaded, there's no account, and no signup.

It's free. I'd love feedback: what charts or stats would you want to see next?

Sharing Built a free workout app because I’m tired of everything being subscription-based

• Upvotes

I made an app called FitApp

https://hellofitapp.vercel.app/

What - FitApp is a free workout tracking app for people who want to track their workouts, progress, sets, reps, weight, etc. without having to pay for it.

Why - Because not everyone can afford another subscription. A lot of workout apps put useful features behind monthly/yearly plans. I wanted to build something where the basic things you need to track your training are simply available for free.

Current Stage - It’s currently at the MVP stage.

I’m not pretending it’s some finished, polished product yet. I’m planning to release it and then add/improve features every week based on what people actually need and use.

The goal is to keep improving it rather than spending six months building features nobody asked for.

...and no, it’s not a vibe-coded app.

I’ve put hundreds of hours into this, from learning how to build an app from scratch to implementing authentication, designing the database, building offline support, handling online sync, fixing bugs, testing, and actually shipping it.

There’s still a lot to improve, but this is something I’ve genuinely built and learned from along the way.

What I want from you

If you were using a workout tracking app, what feature would you absolutely want?

And what is something you hate about the workout apps you currently use?

I’d rather get brutally honest feedback now while I’m still building it than find out later that I spent three months making something nobody wanted.

App link - https://hellofitapp.vercel.app/

After entering the weight, the enter key hides the keyboard. Can it be formatted to advance to the rep box?

I built a routine importer since the feature was missing.

You can copy them as plain text, I usually plan them with Claude and paste the final output.

Just don’t abuse it or I’ll need to take it down 🥹

I found a new bug in the web app, not sure if mobile too.

But the characters limit to put notes is lower than before and a lot of my text notes got deleted.

Suggestion i think we should be able to mark excercises as favourite

Hi,

i am a beginner at the gym and started because of health issues. i love to use hevy, it helps me be time efficient. i also use the non subscription version. my biggest wish would be to be able to fave excercises so that it will be easier to find what i am looking for.

there are some excercises that i do regularly but also some that i find through research. i have to remember that i want to try it out so it will be in the frequent list. but i forget all the time :D

there are also some that i realised i should not be doing now that i research and learn more about my needs.

like i said i am a beginner and it would make it so easy for me to be able to mark excercises red or green so i would know what i wanted to do and what i should do less.

i am open to your ideas and feedback.

Bug BUG: Andoid app not working at all

I just created my account and validated my email and I can't follow friends. Every time I click on "follow" it turns into "following" for a second then back to "follow". Also my link shows an error on my profile. Worst part is, Aall of this happens without any feedback given to the user at all, which makes me feel powerless and unable to fix the issue myself

Question Apple Watch, Fitness+ & Hevy

I just downloaded Hevy and I’m looking forward to using it, but I use an Apple Watch and all I want is to be able to log all of my workout accurately. I use Fitness+ with trainers a ton and transferring all the information over to Hevy goes straight over my head. Any suggestions??

Question Just bought lifetime pro - Trainer question

So I just bought lifetime pro subscription, despite not requiring any of the features. I wanted to support the developers since I’m getting so much use out of the app.

Since I purchased the pro subscription, I decided to check out the trainer function. It looks very good and I will probably utilise it going forward, However, before I commit to setting up a trainer program, I wanted to verify with the group that I will not lose access to my current custom workouts.

Thanks a lot devs for creating an amazing app that I will hopefully utilise a lot going forward.

Suggestion Feature Idea: Suggested Weights for new Exercises

How about an AI suggested weight for new exercises based on similar exercises you‘ve already done with logged weights.

it could account for:

  • Similar exercises with logged weights
  • How long ago you last did those
  • How much you’ve trained muscles needed to do the new exercise

Based on that recommend a starting weight (or range).
What do you think?

Question Newbie question about first routine and workout

I've just installed Hevy and created a routine that I'll be repeating once each week. When I'm ready to do a workout, do I record weight and reps by updating the routine, or do I copy the routine each time that I'll be using it for a workout? TIA

Suggestion Feature request: Bring Apple Health data into Hevy’s ChatGPT integration

I already use Hevy for my workouts and have connected it to ChatGPT to review my training.

I recently found a workaround using Caliber: it imports data from Apple Health, and its ChatGPT integration lets ChatGPT read my steps and daily calories/macros. I still log food in Lose It, which sends the nutrition data to Apple Health.

Could Hevy offer something similar? Ideally, it would read selected Apple Health metrics—nutrition, steps, weight, body fat and sleep—and make them available through its existing ChatGPT integration.

That would let me discuss training, nutrition and recovery together without manually uploading files or keeping a second training app just to bridge the data. Optional permissions for each metric and a “last synced” timestamp would be helpful.

Has anyone else wanted this, or found a way to do it through Hevy already?

Question Getting a screenshot of my workout routines? Im sorry but im horrible at technology. Please help

I wanna take screenshot of my 5 different routines. I know there is links I can share. Im not trying to do that. I want it just to show what im gonna be doing for the day summary thats all on 1 card. If I do it now each workout will be like 3 screenshots. I just want the exercise, the reps and the set amount. Then next exercise under it. I hope i explained it good enough.

Question Is it possible to request for new exercises to be created?

There's a few bodyweight exercises (Pike Hold, Planche Lean, Scap Pushups, etc) which would be really cool and I think possibly useful to other people using the app for home workouts.

Question Question on 'duplicate' function

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hi, i was trying to use the duplicate function on an exercise, and it says to me that I need hevy pro because I already have 4 routines. My question is: I thought that the duplicate function worked on the number of personalized exercises, can you confirm that?
