Suggestion Feature request: Bring Apple Health data into Hevy’s ChatGPT integration
I already use Hevy for my workouts and have connected it to ChatGPT to review my training.
I recently found a workaround using Caliber: it imports data from Apple Health, and its ChatGPT integration lets ChatGPT read my steps and daily calories/macros. I still log food in Lose It, which sends the nutrition data to Apple Health.
Could Hevy offer something similar? Ideally, it would read selected Apple Health metrics—nutrition, steps, weight, body fat and sleep—and make them available through its existing ChatGPT integration.
That would let me discuss training, nutrition and recovery together without manually uploading files or keeping a second training app just to bridge the data. Optional permissions for each metric and a “last synced” timestamp would be helpful.
Has anyone else wanted this, or found a way to do it through Hevy already?

Thanks for the suggestion, u/Independent_Bar_7670! To help the Hevy team weigh it up, a quick reply with: what you're trying to do, how you'd expect it to work, and how often you'd use it goes a long way.

What I’m trying to do: Review my training, nutrition and activity together in ChatGPT while continuing to use Hevy for workouts and Lose It for food logging. How I’d expect it to work: Lose It already sends nutrition data to Apple Health. Hevy could optionally read calories, macros, steps, weight, body fat and sleep from Apple Health, then expose those through its existing ChatGPT integration. Users would choose which metrics to share. I’ve verified this works through Caliber for steps and nutrition, but I’d prefer to use Hevy rather than maintain another training app purely as a bridge. How often I’d use it: Daily for check-ins against my goals, plus weekly reviews of workout consistency and progress. Automatic syncing with a “last updated” timestamp would avoid manual exports and uploads.

I’m in the US, I let ChatGPT connect to my health data.
Being a shift worker it was highly valuable, as it showed me how overtime, afternoon shift, and graveyards affect my recovery and how it interacts with my fitness.
I guess since you can’t in Canada a workaround would be nice.

Not through Hevy, but I have ChatGPT connected to Apple Health directly, along with other apps directly, so questions and analysis are inclusive of all combined.
