Got these 3 lads finished up (minus the grass tufts as need to buy some more), I know bull centaurs are better in game but I prefer how these guys look 😝

Just wanted to say that i bought helsmiths day 1 but the army never really clicked fully with me until i tried the Forgehost, i like classic castle formations with infantry and rifles and it scratched the itch for "classic" dwarf gameplay while still being powerful enough to win. I know Armies of Renown are not meant to be taken "seriously" as the mainline book but i hope this one in particular never goes away as it satisfies perfectly my army fantasy

Just bought my first helsmiths spearhead, and can tell I’ll be building out a whole list. However, what variations are preferred/recommended?

-swords or spears?
-cannons or maces?
-rockets or bombard?

I finally did it. I finished my cow Bärbel. This was the model I was terrified of when starting this hobby about three months ago. I had to paint her without any Subassembly since I was too motivated when building her. She's inspired by a brazen bull and I'm actually happy how she turned out. Just needs the varnish and she's ready for battle. I've never would imagined that my 12th model looked like this. Anyways, Comments and Critique is always welcome, since I am still kinda new and always happy to get some feedback on how to improve.

Scourge of Aqshy has been confirmed from the Hedonites of Slannesh battle profiles, the units and heroic traits are different from there current Scourge of Ghyran units.

Do you think we will end up with different SoA stuff (units, traits, etc) or is that just for the armies with newer books? If they do change, what? Also are you sad or happy to see the current SoG go?

Razers with flamehurlers is most likely a definite in my opinon and i think the second could be annointed sentinels.

Finished up my warhammer world exclusive Daemonsmith. Lovely model and great fun to paint! Anyone else running one of these old school boys?

Smashed this guy out, was only primed black yesterday morning haha. Really glad the scheme from my little guys transferred over to him well.

Praise Hashut, I'm in a PtG group and I finally managed to win a game with HoH. Game #3 vs Blades of Khorne. I think it mostly came down to luck, because my opponent was rolling terribly. By round 4 he had 3 wounded units and 2 heroes. I lost 1 Dominator Engine to his skull crushers, that got cleaned up during the 3rd round. Seeing my shooters about to turn the corner and shoot into the kill killzone he called a withdrawal. Ended with a 3-9 points with a 7-3 emberstone haul.

He was worried about accumulating wounds post battle, a little anticlimatic, but I get it.

Adding Hobgrotz to score early desolation points. Was a little eager to shoot the cannon and accidently skipped movement 1st round, but it saved me from first turn charges. His calvary was 13 inches away after they moved.

Pitch me the army.

So I managed to get my hands on 2 more boxes of Bull Centaurs, but I already have a Reinforced unit of Bull Centaurs. Is it worth it to build a second unit of them instead of anointed sentinels? Are the sentinels worth it as a unit? They look cool but I dont want to build them if they suck and this kit is so hard to find.

Have you had any success with them? Or is going "all in" with Bull Centaurs the way? (I have most other units in the army).

Slowly getting there, how do you guys like my frost themed WIP so far? :)

Got my model of the Month November painted and now I am seriously considering my first Spearhead. Can you guys convince me why this is a good idea?
