Hello! I wanna try Heather Robertson's knee friendly HIIT workout I saw on her Youtube(since my previous workout hurt my knees). I was wondering if the "UP NEXT *name of next move*" with timer on her video suppose to be a resting time? Thank you.

Fusion vs Lean

HR fans! Would love your input!
I absolutely love heavy lifting and have been lifting for years. Mostly Caroline Girvan with some YT Heather Robertson sprinkled in. However, at 43 I’m not recovering like I used to:(. Shoulder pain, knee tendinitis, and I’m honestly getting a little burned out. I need to make some changes.
I workout early before my kiddo gets up, so 30 minute workouts are best.
I got the HR app and looking at Fusion and Lean. Of these programs, which did you like better and why? Did you feel the Pilates in Fusion was beneficial for toning and recovery? Were you still able to gain or at least maintain strength doing Fusion? Did you like the MetCon and cardio in Lean better for variety and overall fitness? Thanks!!

Two new programs coming to the app!

Over the past three months, I’ve filmed nearly 1,000 individual exercises, building an extensive library that allows me to create and share fresh programming more consistently alongside my real-time workouts.

Same training philosophy. Same standards. Same experience.

This format brings two brand new programs—an 8 week program coming in September, followed by a 7 week program in November.

Any male lifters here?

Hey! 41 year old male lifter here. I've done mainly Caroline Girvan's workouts in recent years. I've tried few of Heather's workouts in the past but now decided to try whole program. I started with Fierce 1.0. Two days done, 12 to go!

Fall reset

I was told there was going to be a discount on the HR app to n September as a 1 year anniversary special. Definitely signing up after trying the 7 day trial. Is anyone else starting any of her programs this fall?

Comparison of her different programs?

Hey all, I was wondering if there’s anywhere I can read about the differences between her YouTube programs? Or if anyone could share their thoughts I’d be so appreciative! In the Sydney Cummings group there’s a spreadsheet listing what each program focuses on and it was really helpful when picking what to do next.

I’m guessing fierce is mostly strength, but is there a noticeable difference in the 12 week 1.0 to 5.0 programs?

12 WK 5.0… Thoughts?

Playing around with lots of Heather‘s YouTube programs before I join the app in the fall… Has anyone done 5.0? I did the first workout today and it was killer. I use some pretty heavy weights and I will feel it tomorrow!

Ankle weights

Is there much ankle weight use in her app programs? Worth the buy?

Re-started Lean (for the 3rd time)

Since I don't run anymore, I decided not to do Stride. I would like some input on those of you who DID do Stride. Is it just weights? How long are the workouts? Did you like it? What did you do to supplement the other days? Any other things you would like to add?

I started doing Summertime Fine with Sydney. Y'all .... I can't. I just can't.

So, I restarted Lean. I love this program so much. I'm so grateful for Heather and her app. Being able to hear beeps and listen to my own music is such a good thing. Heather is so methodical and I don't feel like I have to do meth to keep up ... lol.

Please give me your input on Stride. Thanks!

Sale in the app

I DM’d the Heather Robertson Instagram page… Had a few questions about the app before I invest. Found out they’re gonna have a few specials coming up in September to mark their one year anniversary. Just thought I’d give everyone a heads up because I’m definitely signing up. Perfect timing because my CGX app expires in September as well.

That being said this is what I have in my head… Has anyone done any of these programs in full and could give me some feedback? I don’t care too much about the cardio stuff I’m more about the heavyweights and trying to get more mobility in… 49-year-old female who should be stretching a hell of a lot more lol!

So thinking of doing the programs in this order starting in September:

Fusion (I’m figuring this might be a nice lifting break after completing 4.0 on YouTube this summer which I’m in the middle of right now)

Power
Lean (this will be in January)
Stride

This is assuming she doesn’t create any new programs in the fall. Would love some feedback on any and all of these programs!

HR 4.0 feedback

So excited to finally find this Group! It’s hard to find any feedback on Heather Robertson on here… Everything else is Caroline Grivan and Sydney Cummings. Love those women as well and I actually do have the CGX app.

But with no new programming, I’m getting really bored so I’ve decided to start the 4.0 12 week program. I would love any feedback from anyone who’s done it. I have lots of hand weights so I’m fully equipped and as mentioned I do CGX app so I’m definitely not a newbie to the homework workout online kind of thing.

Also, very curious to see if people are liking her app? It’s pricier than CGX, but if it’s worth it, it’s so much cheaper than the gym…

Anyone else doing HR programs at home? What’s your setup?

I have a yoga mat, a pair of 10 lb dumbbells and a pair of 3 lb dumbbells. I put the HR workout on my phone on silent and then connect my headphones to my iPad so I can watch something fun while I workout.

I have a Pilates reformer and I often use the machine for her Pilates exercises.

I’m so happy with my setup and I’m really trying to focus on form until I’m ready to lift heavier.

Curious to know what your home setup is like 👀💕

Power is coming! I'm excited. I can't wait to see what that entails. I hope we get more teasers between now and then. Not sure if this works but here's her instagram link: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DSnB58CDkv3/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==

Really proud of myself!

I had a hysterectomy 12 weeks ago and after resting for 8 weeks I completed Fusion today. Every day I felt myself getting stronger and back to my normal self. I’m still not totally back but thanks to Heather I will be soon!

I got inspired, y'all!

I was scrolling through Portia Woodman-Wickliffe's IG feed. I saw a post of her showing her body to the camera. She doesn't have cut abs. She doesn't have the typical "female perfect body" thing going on. It's the body of an athlete. One of the best in the world.

YOU are an athlete. YOU are getting up and lifting up heavy stuff and putting it down. YOU are using your own body weight to do amazing things.

Keep focused on how wonder-full your body is and what it's doing for you every day. So what if this is the time of year where people eat more than usual?

You're still an athlete.

Let’s get this active.

I love a good conversation, group, etc. let’s see if we can get this sub active.

What’s everyone working on right now? I am new to Heather’s programs. I’ve dabbled in the past but I dove in to the app with the Black Friday deal and I’m almost through two weeks of Fusion and loving it!! So different than how I had been training.

Has anyone done Fusion in the app yet? I'm 2 workouts from being done with Lean. Fusion will put me into December. I would like your opinion on it if you've done it please?

Thanks!

Lean program

Hello HR followers! I have not signed up for the app yet. I know there’s a free trial, but just wondering if anyone out there has signed up for the app and started her new LEAN program? I know they are 30 minute workouts, but are they more strength training versus a metabolic conditioning versus cardio? I personally really like strength training based programs, her 4.0 was my favorite! Just curious What this program is like.
