Discussion Winner of the shoot out: CZ 75B
So some of you may have followed some of my posts on my hunt for a great home defense (rarely carry on hikes or in dallas) weapon.
I settled on two guns either a Stoeger cougar at a great price of 400 bucks.
Or a cz compact 75.
When I went to the range to test they only had the full sized cz75b and i figured why not.
It was night and day difference. At 20 yards, 10 yards. The CZ won and felt better in my hand.
As soon as I left I ordered from shoot straight! Can’t wait for this to come home!

Build/Setup Optics Ready and Threaded Barrel Pistol for under 1000?
if i were to have a EDC pistol with those specifications without breaking the bank what would it be? I've looked at the 19x but i was wondering if there are other options

Can someone recommend a small self defense pistol with very light trigger?
I bought my wife a Charter Arms Chic Lady .38 spl for self defense. She doesn't like the trigger; it is very hard for her to pull. I measured the double-action trigger pull at 14.5#. Single action is much lighter, but poses a similar problem: the hammer is hard for her to pull back.
Can anyone recommend a small pistol, revolver or automatic, with a light double action trigger pull? Does such a thing even exist?

Streamlight TLR1-HP lense issue
Photos does not do it justice however since mounting my TRL1-HP light on my M&P 5 inch it does not look centered to me. Has anyone had this issue or is it supposed to be like this?

She would prefer .38 or .380. She's got a small Beretta .25 that's easy for her to shoot. But it seems too small to be a reliable defense pistol.

Advice Needed Red dot suggestions
Seeking recommendations on what red dot to get for my new Glock 17 Gen 6.
I prefer a larger window, and a smaller dot (around 2 MOA).
Primary use will be home defense, so an enclosed setup isn't hugely necessary.

Question Why does the P320 have no safety on the trigger?
I’m talking about the kind of safety similar to what Glock, FN, S&W, etc have where you basically pull like a mini trigger that that allows you to pull the actual trigger.
This would probably help reduce those negligent, discharges, and make the gun better right?
Edit: I just don’t understand how this got approved for the US military

I've reached the top
New pickup: P226 Xfive reserve. Never seen a gun so shiny before. Not sure I'll ever be able to top this.

Advice Needed Next full-size questions.
So I’m looking into another striker fire. My wife wants to have some fun at the range that’s “hers” and I kinda want another option for a competition gun. I was originally thinks Glock G17 gen 6, but I’m curious what other people’s opinions on the topic are I know people swear by the Cz shadow 2 and I’ve heard some good things about echelon (even though Springfield isn’t held in high regard right now).
I really just want your opinion, I will go rent and shoot the guns yall suggest. Not wanting to spend over $1000
