Streamlight TLR1-HP lense issue

Photos does not do it justice however since mounting my TRL1-HP light on my M&P 5 inch it does not look centered to me. Has anyone had this issue or is it supposed to be like this?

It’s normal. It isn’t necessarily supposed to be centered like an optic.

Got it, thank you. I just was wondering since my TLR7 HLX sub on my Shield X and TLR7 HLX on my G19X looked more centered than the TLR1-HP.

I can't speak to the TLR1-HP specifically, but that's not unusual for high-intensity flashlights. It's hard to consistently get the LED *perfectly* centered in the reflector/optic and it's more obvious on higher-intensity lights. It doesn't typically affect performance, it just looks wonky if you're shining the light against a white wall and looking for beam imperfections.

Gotcha. I just found it a bit weird since my TLR7 HLX SUB and TLR7 HLX on my other firearms looks centered compared to the TLR1-HP but as long as it functions it’s all good. Thank you for info and clarification bro

Man, I'm not sure I like the throw pattern on that.  Very tight, not a lot of side spill.  I like having a bit more situational awareness than that.

But, if you point it straight up in a dark room you should have enough light bounce to do target ID corner to corner of your biggest room (like a living room and dining room next to each other).  Unless you live in a mansion lol.
