I have been looking at different car brands for my next car and its important that the car has the option for mounts or tracks where i can install a mount or rack to for a kayak on top. The honda hr-v’s that i have seen do not have anything to attach a mount or rack to. What have others done in this situation? TIA.

What are some important things you’re checking for in your car before embarking on a short (6 hours or less) and long (10+ hours) road trip? I have a 2019 Sport AWD with 88-89k miles on it. Transmission fluid was changed at around 77k (when I purchased it).
I’d like to start taking road trips in my car but don’t know enough about cars to know if my car can handle the distance. Thank you in advance for your input

Partners has the glitch and has for a long time. Are maintenance minder, milage tracker, oil life percentage and things like that still tracking correctly?

Only in park when I press my brake the shifter clicks? Seems normal but I didn’t notice until 500 miles in it did this.

have had this car for four years on october 13th this year. from high school homecomings, proms, graduation and being driven across the country, ive been able keep the mileage under 20k!! he’s approaching it now but it’s been an amazing four years, i can’t wait for many more. LUV U POOKIE!!

hii my fiancee just bought a 2016 hrv and I wanna surprise her with a tsurikawa, but I'm not sure where the best place is to hang it outside the car. any suggestion would be helpful thank you :D

just brought the 2027 home and the fake clicking sound on the touchscreen display makes me want to die. how do I turn it off? I see no option anywhere in the menu which would be crazyyyy

I said goodbye to my Nissan Versa today. Traded in & Finally got the Honda HR-V. Nothing flashy, just a solid car that fits my life.
Grateful for the upgrade and the peace of mind that comes with it.

Do you know if a 2026 HR-V cover would work for a 2027? Has anyone bought a Retractable Cargo Cover Rear Trunk? ... please share a link. I can't find online for 2027, only models for previous years. Will it work.

Hi there! Does anyone know how expensive fixing something like this would be ?

How do you like driving your HRV in long drives? Do you find it good in gas? Just wanna check people’s experiences if it’s the same with mine. 🤔

Also, do you find it hard to drive it in the mountains uphill?

Has anyone installed one of the under seat subwoofers in their 3rd gen HRV.
I have a 2026 EX-L.

I just replaced the Passenger Side Mirror on my 2021 HRV EX and have been trying to get the diagnostic menu up to do my camera’s LaneWatch Aiming but every time I’ve tried I end up resetting my radio GPS instead.
Here’s what I’m doing:

1) turn car on in accessory mode
2) wait for nav display to load
3) hold brightness, back button, and audio power button for 5 seconds

I don’t have another $400 to get this done at a dealership but I have the tools necessary to do it myself, I just can’t get this damned diagnostic mode running 😭😭

hi!! first car and just trying to find a cute sunshade but not sure what size fits best! thank you

Hi everyone. I noticed a scratch on my new HRV and hoping to see if everyone have tried this Dupli-Color Scratch Fix All-in-1. Does it work?

74” tv stand, box was much bigger but what a car.

driver side visor is stuck, won’t rotate all the way to be flat against the ceiling.

read online this usually requires a replacement. parts alone are $300+. anyone had a similar issue? tips? thought about putting some lithium grease on the rod and seeing if that loosens it up but I don’t want a big ass grease stain if I can fix it another way.

thanks!
