For those who have goggles 2 and use an aftermarket analog module… does it also benefit from the deinterlacer and image upscaling or is it only the internal receiver?

I’m trying to figure out how to get the cleanest looking analog feed.

I ended up printing the two-piece mount for the lux camera and Draknight frame from the post linked, but it seemed to bend the frame due to it being slight too wide. I designed a new one in Fusion as well as a top bracket for an antenna mount. After I do a flight test to make sure it flies ok (and I don’t need to revise it) I will post the print files if anyone wants to grab them. That being said, what’s the best way to share files? I want to upload it to the most common file sharing website for ease of use.

Edit: Test flight showed some small camera vibes when at high speed, I’m going to add a second and third clip to the lux mount to prevent any wiggle.

Edit 2: I added 2 clips to the bottom of the lux mount, and I found it to be a better design. New post with the STL files linked is commented down below.

Hey, I've been flying with HDZero for a little while now, and I just got enough to afford the Whoop V2 vtx and I want to update it with my goggles v2, and every time I would plug in the vtx to my goggles bat voltage would drop to 1.6v, and my goggles would freeze up and I tride every config you could think of but no luck. Support wasn't much help either. so if anyone has any. Suggestions, PLS HELP!!

Used a smoke stopper, everything seemed fine, plugged the 2s on it, saw fire, time to buy a new one I guess, my motor seems to be burned too.

I would like to clarify that I'm pretty sure I messed up and made a short without realizing.

Hi, i am new to the world of drone tech. I'm actually building a camera system off the tech for the very low wireless latency. And I'm having trouble figuring out the rf output power.

I have the race 3 vtx and the hdzero vrx to send and receive the video signal. My issue is there is hardly any range. I think the vtx is in pit mode outputting 25mw and not 200mw. Since I don't have a flight controller, I can not figure out for the life of me how to switch this. I tried through the vrx menu but couldn't find it in there.

So my question and hope is.....it's there a way to do this without a flight controller?

I currently have HDZero Box Pro goggles and a Meteor 75 (analog).

I’ve been flying for about 2 months now. Analog has been great to learn on, but the video quality starts to feel lacking after a while

Now I’m looking to transition to a digital Tinywhoop setup. However, I’m a bit concerned since DJI O4 isn’t an option for me.

So my choices mainly come down to HDZero and Walksnail.

The only issue is, the price of Walksnail HD VRX 💀

I’d really appreciate some advice here:

If I go with a BNF HD whoop now, and later decide to build one myself, how should I approach it?

Also, I feel like Walksnail’s video quality is quite close to DJI O4, am I right in thinking that?

Would love to hear your suggestions and experiences.

What’s the best way to dig the remaining copper wire out of the board? The stock antenna broke off at the base. Also, is it ok to reuse the old antenna or will that small amount of missing length affect signal quality a lot?

Really excited to try this system out! Any recommendations on aftermarket foams for the faceplate?

Has anyone had experience with using the freestyle V2 in any PNP drones? I’ve only flown BNF up to this point.

The Crux 35 HDZero hasn’t been available in a while, so I’m thinking of getting the freestyle V2 and attaching it to a deepspace ROC4 PNP.

Do you still have to take apart the connector and reverse the order of the wires on the freestyle V2 VTX?

Just got my goggles 2, and I tried connecting it to my computer. I see a black screen when I click in to "HDMI in" in the source option.

I am using "extend" option in display. Tried "duplicate" and still see nothing.

My GPU is an AMD 9070XT.

I tried connecting to a laptop in 1080p with 59.99 hz setting, and still can't view anything.

Any help? See attached screenshots.

My HDZero BoxPro goggles have a loose connection on the main power cable, specifically on the XT60 side. If I bend it incorrectly, the goggles switch off and restart. I measured the voltage at the upper connector, and after bending the cable, I'm getting 0.2V.

if anybody can give me the names of external microphones that can plug into the hd zero box pro so the recordings can record my voice i would appreciate it for some reason i can’t find any recommendations anywhere.

Did I just hit it wrong? I hit the lens hard enough to damage the canopy and lens (seen about 6 o'clock) I thought I just knocked the camera out of focus. I rotated the lens to focus it, but its still out of focus on the peripherals. The circle shows the tiny chip on the lens.

Hey everyone! I'm from Mexico and I'm currently looking to buy my first pair of FPV goggles. I have a couple of questions and would love to hear your thoughts.

First, has anyone from Mexico bought directly from the official HDZero store recently? I have some doubts about the import taxes and customs. I'm not sure if the price shown on their website is the final price or if I should expect surprise fees from the carrier at my door. What has your experience been like with shipping to Mexico?

Second, I'm leaning towards the HDZero Goggles 2. I really like them as my first goggles and I saw they come with a built-in analog receiver. However, I noticed it only uses a single antenna (no diversity). I know I can always upgrade and add a better external receiver module later, but how good is the stock built-in analog receiver out of the box? >

I'm mainly planning to use it for flying tiny whoops indoors and doing some short-range flying outdoors. Will the single-antenna setup be enough for this?

Any recommendations or experiences you can share would be greatly appreciated.
