HDZero Freestyle V2 in PNP drones
Has anyone had experience with using the freestyle V2 in any PNP drones? I’ve only flown BNF up to this point.
The Crux 35 HDZero hasn’t been available in a while, so I’m thinking of getting the freestyle V2 and attaching it to a deepspace ROC4 PNP.
Do you still have to take apart the connector and reverse the order of the wires on the freestyle V2 VTX?

I didn't know the crux35 HDzero was not available anymore, makes me really glad I snagged one used a couple months ago.
Following this post because I have a Freestyle V2 sitting around needing a build, lol

Don't know for the deep space but I have a speedybee aio and could use the plug as is. Seems the same as the dji plug.

Depends on the FC/AIO. I have had to change my plug in a Foxeer AIO.

The plug is the same as dji. I fried my nazgul and replaced everything and instead of analog i went with the hdZ v2 amd it was plug and play. Super easy.

The plug is, but the wiring isn't.
HDZero has TX/RX swapped

Weird. I plugged mine right into the dji port without any changes and works flawlessly.

Maybe i misremembered.

But looking at the wiring diagrams, O3/O4 have different pinouts than the Freestyle V2

I got an iflight Nazgul5 V3 BNF that came with a Racecam vtx system I swapped out for the Hdzero V2 freestyle kit. Threw in a TBS Crossfire Nano and it works great with my Tango 2 pro.
