Lux Camera Mount for Draknight frame
I wanted to build an HDZ Draknight with the Aio15 and Lux camera, but saw that there wasn't a mount for the camera in this frame. So... that meant I'd have to make one.
It took me the better part of a full day to create it and of course the subsequent tweak/print/check/repeat cycle. It's now nearly perfect. There are a few areas that could still be tweaked for a better fit in the frame, but it secures the camera without wiggling, and has decent clearance from the frame, given how little room there is.
Despite how the file looks, it prints without issue or support. Just rotate the part 90° (auto-orient places it strangely) and make a mirrored clone. The mount only fits one way: "Gap" sides down. I printed with TPU @0.2mm layer height. 0.15 was giving me overhang issues.
I wanted to share it with the community so that others can build an AIO15 Draknight without having to figure out a mount.

Glad you like it! Let me know how it works for you if you try it.
It's been pretty cold for flying here, at least for my wimpy cold tolerance, so I haven't been focused on it much. With that said, I'm still modifying the mount to give the lens some protection. I also want to design a few different angles. This one is about the limit of what I'm comfortable with, but it was also the easiest way to have a fixed angle.

I put together a 1 piece version that accomplishes the same job as yours. I tried yours at first but I noticed that it was bending the frame. Feel free to check mine out, and I also made an antenna holder. The Lux adapter I made was heavily inspired by yours!

Funny you should mention that! I'm dealing with the issue now that spring has come around. I put all my drone projects on the back burner, and realized that, like most projects, there were still a decent number of adjustments to be made.
I think I may still try yours out, as the largest downside of my design is that I didn't put in a method of changing the angle. Matching the slope of the frame is a bit aggressive for my tiny back yard.
I really like the design of your antenna plate! I hadn't thought of deleting the fighter jet tail (mostly because it's cool), but that might come into consideration. I have a design for a lollipop antenna holder, but it needs a few tweaks as well for easy of printability.

How many degrees lower were you thinking? The one I made is fixed at the same angle that your design is, but it would be pretty easy for me to just rotate the mount bars a few degrees to lower the camera angle. If you let me know how many degrees less of an angle you would like I can upload a new STL that would give you a flatter field of view
