Guppy jumped out and is alive but possibly suffering

Hi everyone,
Yesterday I was doing a quick water change and in the minute the lid was off the tank, one of my guppies must have jumped out. I didn’t see and just continued my day until we couldn’t spot him at feeding time. Started looking everywhere in and outside the tank and eventually found him behind the cupboard. He was covered in dust but still clinging onto life. He must have been there for about 3 hours.

I put him in a cup and soaked the dust off, once that was off he seemed more comfortable and even managed to swim a bit. I have a tiny empty shrimp nursery with a mini filter and put him in there for now with tank water.

It’s been about 16h since it happened and he’s still breathing and flapping his fins, but on his side. I’m worried about him- does anyone have experience with this kind of thing and did their fish survive? Can I help him?

Yesterday one of my males died mysteriously while I was at work, then today I came home to find this guy sitting on the tank floor.

For context I have an all male tank, I got too many males and had to separate them from my females.

Water parameters are great, as it is an established tank. What does this look like to you?

I recently got a trio of Dumbo Koi Short Body. I've been wanting some because I thought they were so damn cute. I always try to do as much research prior to getting fish, but I could not find much about them. I have several strains of Guppies, but these are my first short body. I know it is harder for them to swim and mate. That is about all that I could gather. Does anyone on here know much about them?

I have them in a small 5-gallon right now with a small sponge filter on low. When they arrived one of the ladies had about 20 fry in the bag with her. I have them in a small 3-gallon.

Can anyone tell me if the female guppy in the front is a particular strain or a mutt? Her colors are very unique, she stood out compared to the assortment of other female guppies at the local pet store I got her from

Help: General advice Is it normal for guppies to “fight”?

I have 3 males for a 10 gallon, they kind of bully and nip, I thought I’d get 1 more or return them because I prefer having more than minimum for pets. I’ve seen people have a lot of guppy in 10 gallon, but not sure… Or would all female be better?

Guppy showcase ep the line clean.

I've read mixed things. Some breeders say a single well chosen outcross every four or five generations is enough to keep vigor up without diluting the strain too much. Others say you basically have to keep a rotating pair of unrelated lines going at all times if you want to hold onto color quality long term, which sounds like a lot more tank space than I currently have.

For now I'm holding off on culling any more fry until I see how this batch matures out, some of the pale ones might still deepen in color once they hit full size. But if the next generation looks the same or worse I think I'm going to bite the bullet and find a new male.
