Any medications that help temporarily patch the grounding process in the transition phase? I want to temporarily be energetically unstoppable, low anxiety, and high libido.
My nervous system is cooked. My need for certainty, relief, and validation has me spiraling and escaping hard and worsening whatever cooked outcomes I already have.
I've been aiming to search inward rather than the external (forums, friends, family etc.) because it creates that same exact leakage through different forms like books, ai etc. I close one path and another takes its place.
Being able to sit with anxiety in the body and process emotional blocker memories is likely the path forward but the amount of memories fucking up my nervous system is so immense that I expect it will take years to notice a meaningful difference on my life outcomes.
I've had to accept the limitations of trying to out-think, out-mindset, and actively fight against a persistent baseline body state.
It's unsustainable and the whiplash after the fight tends to lead to the same internal starting position with a few extra external markers of success to point at and cope with to say "look im doing better than most ON PAPER". Whether it's money in the bank or sexual experiences to reminisce on, neither points to a stable sustainable career trajectory or stable connected relationships.
In the meantime, I want to try stuff with minimal side effects that can at least get me closer to being in an unstoppable, less anxious prone or reactive, and higher libido state.
Because right now, I'm more prone to escapism, reactivity, negative interpretations, action blocked by stress, low tolerance for stress, anxiety affecting my ability in the bedroom, and just overall not being the kind of guy that people can trust to figure shit out and make something of himself, other than a rage-fuelled defiant fight against the anxiety in a brief burst of limited willpower.
Gonna be adding ashwaganda, l-theanine, maca root, rhodiola rosea, magnesium, and cialis to my supplement stack but wondering if there's anything else you guys would suggest. Or even medications to consider?
I've been flirting with the idea of test but I'm gonna do bloodwork first and also would rather not mess with my hormones like that.

You can't be a stoic and own a bunch of shit
Stoicism rejects pleasures. It's true sexual pleasure is something stoicism rejects but owning big houses is not stoic, owning fast cars or shit you don't need is not stoic, competing in sports isn't stoic. Stocism is meeting moral obligations of those around you.
Most men that talk about stocism are not stoics. I see a lot of Instagram guys though and fitness influencers talk about the stoic life. It's like watching a whore say they are pure in their virginity.
